I may be too late, but I have a tip for solving the double megaminx. By the way they are fused together, it means that no matter how much you scramble either of them, you’ll always have the first two layers solved, and no other layers are restricted, so solving one of those two takes less time than a normal megaminx. I hope this helps a bit!
Hi Tingman So I Asked An AI To Write Me A Song About Speecubing! This is how it turned out! (Verse 1) In a world of colors, where time dissolves, A Rubik's cube magic, the challenge revolves, Fingers dance swiftly, solving faces so bright, The crowd is amazed by this puzzling sight. (Pre-Chorus) With every twist and turn, the patterns unfold, A journey of speed, a story untold, In this cubing realm, we find our place, Chasing dreams and records, at our own pace. (Chorus) Speecubing, it's a rhythm we embrace, Unraveling complexities, finding our own space, With every algorithm, we break through the mold, In this pop of colors, our story's told. (Verse 2) The clock's ticking faster, but we're not alone, Together as cubers, we've built a home, Across every nation, we share the same thrill, Solving cubes of passion, it's a fire we instill. (Bridge) Like a symphony, we move in harmony, Each scramble a chance for us to be free, With every solve, we find our way, In this world of cubes, we'll forever stay. (Chorus) Speecubing, it's a rhythm we embrace, Unraveling complexities, finding our own space, With every algorithm, we break through the mold, In this pop of colors, our story's told. (Outro) Through twists and turns, we conquer the strife, In the language of cubing, we rewrite our life, Speecubing, the passion won't fade away, In this pop of colors, we'll forever sway.
The way that ended made me laugh. 😂 You're brave, Tingman! Almost 300 cubes in my collection and I've always avoided getting a "Nope" puzzle because I'm afraid I won't be able to solve it. I have the Crazy Windmill but as you said, that's just a 3x3. I have the 4x4 Ghost Cube but I've never scrambled it, lol. The corner helicopter actually doesn't look that bad now that I've seen you solve it. I might get that one!
I'd be exactly the same as you, but people in the comments are always challenging me to try crazy things so that's why I push myself haha. Otherwise I'd prefer to leave all these puzzles unscrambled thank you very much!
You should scramble the ghost cube! If you have experience with big cubes (I’ll just sssume you do considering you’ve got alot of cubes) it’s just a regular 4x4 with the centers having different depths, after that the edges are a matter of feeling them and seeing if they are similar to eachother then it’s just a regular ghost cube
Suddenly realized today that I don't have the 4x4 ghost cube... It's the 4x4 mirror blocks that I own and have never scrambled. That one would actually be easier for me to solve. Now I have to get the 4x4 ghost cube!
I have a couple of shape shifting 4x4's, they're among the more challenging puzzles that I actually enjoy solving. But imagining a ghost 4x4 is indeed a big fat nope.
The LanLan X-skewb is actually Tony Fisher’s Mental Block. Get Billy to send you a Witeden 3x3x15 stickerless if you want a “challenging" solve. (I've nicknamed mine the Hand Grenade)
Interesting to see your method for the 2x2 Corner Helicopter. I have one too and I solve it in a different order. First I solve the 2x2 center pieces, then the middles of the edges, and finally all the fang shaped edge pieces.
I thought the Unicorn Cube was a Bagua in the thumbnail... if you want an ACTUAL "nope" puzzle, check that one out! I was afraid of it for like a year but finally scrambled (and conquered) it! (I'll bet you could solve the Unicorn Cube, btw. It's not THAT hard.)
Lol, I was chilling on a lot of them except the skewbs cuz I don't know how to solve them, because you just apply some 3x3 or bigger cube like 4x4 techniques to it. But then the actual 4x4 ghost cube came up and I legit said "Nope" with him.
There's a puzzle I saw once that I can't remember the name of. It was nothing special, but I'd like to get one for a very specific reason. It was basically identical to a Square-1 puzzle, except that instead of the top and bottom layers having four large corner pieces and four smaller edge pieces, the top and bottom both had 12 equally sized pieces. Like if the corner pieces of a Square-1 were split right down the center. Do you happen to know what this puzzle is called? The reason I want one, is that I'd like to print copies of the faces of the Hellraiser Lament Configuration box and glue them on it. I could do it with a normal Square-1, but I think the extra pieces on the top and bottom layers would work better for the two iconic faces of the Hellraiser cube, which have a circular design on them
7:40 that one is probably the easiest from the cubes you bought. first pair up the edges, then solve like a 3x3x3, and then orient the center abusing (M' U M U').5 to orient two centers at the time rotating in 90º, and solving the little centers using 4x4 knowledge and abusing (R U R' U).5 to rotate a center in 180º.
Number 3 the Lime cube I think could work if they added some kind of nob or grip on the circles so you can actually turn it without feeling like you’re gonna break it.
your unboxing videos are so entertaining!! i always feel better when i watch your videos, especially because i got the diansheng gigaminx and its coming soon
