That's the proof that you can have technique, but that doesn't mean you can serve the song better them ringo. Ringo is a very unique drummer, with his own feeling and swing.
Love Joe Walsh so much! Have to say that, I love Ringo as well but Joe’s version is so much better. Not too many artists can pull off doing a cover of another song but Joe? Joe is one artist that can keep to the original but yet make it his own. Only a true and great musician can do that.
I've been posting a version of this since I heard of the Boogaloo movement, Proud Boys who want Helter Skelter, wear Hawaiian shirts and carry big guns. I never heard this one, and I LOVE IT!
yes Peter Frampton, the ever amazing Luke Steve Lukather, Kenny aronoff on the drums, Don was on the bass, Joe Walsh's usual backup singers at the time, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers benmont tench on the keys
is that Kenny aronoff bald John mellencamp's old drummer drumming for almost every country artist imaginable. why they called the human metronome? or some other old bald drummer? Should of laid down some dirty laundry as long as Luke and Joe were on the stage they were both to sell the list. Don Henley's classic.. I believe that's benmont tench from the Heartbreakers up there to on the keyboards but I could be wrong Ben changes look so many times through the years.. uploader should have put it in the description who was on the stage.. everybody knows the old scruffy Don Was on bass..although in later years Mike Campbell kind of gives him a run for his money in the looks department lol
Kyle Hill whats the matter....you don't like trump??? Sorry you are in the minority..... Now put politics to bed and just listen to this wonderful music.
Walsh, Lukather and Frampton all on the one stage 🎸
Don't forget Don Was ( sorry if I spelled that wrong)
Who the hell could possibly dislike this? This is probably the second best version of Back Off Boogaloo I've ever heard!
I was gonna write the exact same thing. Right on!!!!
Gondarth me. I like both artists but really, this one was especially atrocious.
I like his 2014 Beatles tribute while my guitar gently weep as well 🎼🎸🤩🤘
Ringo's Brother-in-law.

"Back Off Boogaloo" is very similar than "Helter Skelter"

I have to wonder if they knew something I didn't, way back when!
Grande Joe un bel gruppo .

Drummer has to impress since he's playing for Ringo's bro-in-law :)

In the news today , trex, Marc bolan a future seeing dude
Fuck, Peter Frampton, Steve Lukather and Kenny Aaronoff in your band?
F'n Joe...!
No one can replicate George’s slide sound and the raucous original song. But nice try.

Yea... It's him. Great drummer, but an ego maniac if you ask me.
@@hippydippy Thought so. I have read interviews thru yrs and yes he is🙂
I wouldn't call Kenny Aaronoff a bald c_nt to his face! Maybe over the phone from another country
Joe, where’s your slide???
Don't click on yosimy's channel it will blow out your speakers (lack of sound balance)
So when is the Back Off Mr Trump version coming out?
Kyle Hill whats the matter....you don't like trump???
Sorry you are in the minority.....
Now put politics to bed and just listen to this wonderful music.
@@grandinosour trump trump trump 👊👊👊 guns hellyea i like 🔫 🔫 🔫 🔫 🔫 🔫 🔫
if I could only write a song about how jealous I was against Paul
Paul Heaney..... Maybe Jamie...
Arnold runs rings around Ringo from a technique standpoint, but sorely lacks the swing on this tune. It shows that technique isn’t everything.
Love Joe Walsh, but this is a no. Nobody but Ringo for me. I will give him kudos for the attempt; it was brave.
How to butcher such a simple song
