It looks bunchy and feminine, one should invest in a proper ascot. I have no idea where you could have gotten the idea to tuck an ascot into a v-neck sweater but it too is a very unsightly look. If you really want to achieve a casual sweater-ascot-look, pair it with a collared shirt and allow the ascot ends to hang in front of the sweater tied in a modified 4-in-hand knot. This was worn in the 1970s much like Fred from Scooby Doo.
