I've never understood why people have such an issue with Lugen. It's such a clever song. You're lulled into a false sense of security by this image of a perfect life that Till describes and then, you discover that it's all an image, lies, further emphasised by the voice modification and then there's the descent into madness by the end. Let's be honest here, if you don't even trust yourself, you'll eventually drive yourself and through the mistrust. Clever, clever writing as always. Great reaction from you as always including the Scooby Doo almost double take😂
Oh, there was a lot of criticism about the autotune part of the song. Many asked, why does Till do that? He doesn't need to do that. But when you realize that it's part of the lyrics, it's just awesome. I myself always have to think of all the influencers in the social media, whose whole external presentation consists only of staged images and made-up stories. Their "greatest art" is to produce music in which they only manage to hit the right note to some extent with autotune, in order to be celebrated for it by their zombie-like followers. Awesome reaction as always.
This is my favorite song from the new album 💙💙💙💙 The auto tune threw me off as well, but as you said, the modified voice makes sense for a song called "lies" I love the intensity in his voice
The auto-tune is appearing on „I lie even to myself“ and comes in on that topic. It’s the self poisoning, while in giftig (poisonous) it’s used when he is poisoned.
autotune is an essential part of the song to emphasize the lies. The autotune sounds like on max. If he really needs it and uses it, it would be much subtler
As others have said this really threw me when I first heard it but after a few times listening to the whole album I absolutely love it and in my opinion it fits very well in that album.
I love this song. And goes perfectly with the theme of the album. The crazies of our today's world. Imo it's a critical comment on the multimedia world such as Instagram&Co. Most people only post polish images of their perfect, happy life. Photoshoped. But we all know, that's not reality-based. It's a lie. The auto tune is just a artistic way to underline or exaggerate the meaning of the song. Nice reaction, as always.
Till uses autotune here because it's a great idea in the context of the lyrics. Everyone immediately thinks why is he doing this now and the next moment you understand the allusion, at least as a German-speaking listener. Maybe it's a bit more difficult if you don't understand the lyrics or read the subtitles while listening.

Very well said. LoL, thank you!
It's one of my favorite Rammstein Songs

Thank you. Yeah, that's it, there's nothing to be mad about, that's the whole point of the song. The lies!
This is my favorite song from the new album 💙💙💙💙

Well said!
The modified voice pairs exactly right with a song that's called lies..
It's one of my favorites by them
Heavy,sad and creative..
Thank you
Exactly!

Yup, yup, I agree!
Little fun fact: bryan adams (yes the singer) took this photo. He is a (hobby) photographer.
That is a fun fact! I had no idea. Thank you!
Lugen is great!!!! ty man for the reaction
All is false even the voice.. niceeeeeeeee

Exactly, like I said, it's not just autotuned, it's autotuned to the max!
I’m so happy every time i see rammstein reaction by you
Thank you so much! :D
genius song
Absolutely!
As others have said this really threw me when I first heard it but after a few times listening to the whole album I absolutely love it and in my opinion it fits very well in that album.
It is a really great song. Very different but very enjoyable. :)

I agree 100% with the "fake life" people portray on social media. Thank you!
This song is about truth, bro!
Lies! :)
Your head turn reaction to the autotune was hilarious ahahaah
Caught me off by surprise, LoL!
Rammstein ❤🔝🔥
For sure!
Auto-tune… A LIE, not his real voice.
I love this song, Aaahhh, so many songs that I love from Rammstein and that’s no lie!
Absolutely!

I feel like the autotune matching the lyrics was pretty obvious.
👍😍
Yay!
Thanks... (:
Thank you!
0:50 in this picture Till Lindemann looks like a German actor with the name Ralf Richter
The fact that he used the autontune was put over him saying "I lie to myself" is genius.
Nevertheless a song i dont like this much
Yup, the lyrics make perfect sense with the autotune.
We're all getting older, buddy. even you...😏
Never!!! :)
Till doesn't need to use autotune, I think they did it deliberately. Lügen is one of my favorites from this album.
For sure it's deliberate, to match the lyrics.
Solid song. The only bad song in this album is OK
It is a solid song. :)
People need to understand Till is old man. Cut him some slack for using modifications he was pushing 60 when this album was recorded
The filtered voice is just another of the lies
as more tills goes mad, so goes his voice also
It's a cool effect and perfect for the lyrics of this song.
Lügen
Indeed!
