- Back again with a new training video for beginner tow truck drivers. In this lecture, we will be reviewing how to on-load a vehicle using a 4-point tie down system. This is a basic tow that'll be executed on someones first couple of days with us.
This free course covers everything you need to know to become a successful tow truck operator in 2020 - 2021.
I explain how the truck operates, daily inspections, tricks of the trade and what equipment you'll be using day to day.
I also walk you through specific circumstances from start to finish, so that you can practice over-the-shoulder of a PRO.
Lastly, I walk you through my customer service process and share a few tips from my 30+ years in the towing industry.

I start tomorrow with a towing company. These videos I feel have given me a leg up on the training I hope to receive and give me a solid foundation to be efficient and safe at performing the job. The tips are valuable to me, I appreciate it very much.
Thank you and best of luck!
Another great video. Can you go over in a video all the different ways to tie down a vehicle with chains
In the next videos show us your tool boxes from your everyday use and how you keep your cabin
Thank you for the videos, Mr. Wayne.
Thank you, glad you like them.
Good training video, keep it up !!!
Thanks!
So I'm also looking for a V shape at the end of the what we call "dog bones" on the tie downs and I'm also a rookie driver in training for a company takes a little getting used to
I don’t like how the camera man isn’t showing what leverage to pull up or down
Where could I buy the tie down straps that you are using in the video?
On the BA 8pt tie down straps what is a good all around length 14 or 18 on the aw direct page they say the 18 ft is perfect for truck and suv?
Where can I purchase those tire trap?
Where can I get those tire straps??
Zips Aw Direct. They are B/A 8 point straps
My gripe is walking behind the car with the bed tilted you didn't have any reason to take that risk
that hood is open.
Anytime that you want a car up onto the the deck you always put it in park then you set the emergency brake discount truck driver doesn't know what he's doing
