It took me 2 years to even want to try this plant or any others in the family but I took a leap and bought a red one, a Grey star and mahogany and a boat load of insecticides. I hopeful that will be as beautiful as yours someday.
Oh Hi Jaclynn, I have always loved that maranta, it is just so beautiful, I had one and it died on me and I have not bought another one yet, but I know what I did wrong and I for sure will get me another one, and I now know the perfect spot for it. Thanks so much for sharing this Plantmas Day 19 video. I hope that you have a wonderful day, sending love and hugs, bye! 😻❄☃🎄
I have a maranta Kerchoveana, the 1st time I tried to propagate it, it was a fail because I didn’t get a node, did more research and now I have a cutting growing roots in water.
I’ve grown tons of plants over my 60+ years but I just received my first Maranta and she’s supposed to be a lemon lime maranta I bought from PalmStreet. When I ran her pictures through my PictureThis app it said she was sick! 🤧 Said yellow outline was indicative of needing a fungicide and trimming all the leaves with the yellow outlining. I’m a little suspicious that the app doesn’t recognize this hybrid.
I just picked up another one. I use to have one and then prayer plants and I had to have some space. Now that our relationship is better I’m trying to focus on how I treat her. So far so good. I’ve had her for about a month now.
I have always thought this plants was beautiful but was scared to buy. I live in Texas and do not supplement humidity. I finally just couldn’t pass it up decided to gamble. It’s in my bathroom so 🤞🏼
I love my Maranta's. I got the Silver Band around Thanksgiving. I would like the Leuconeura Massangeana 'Black Maranta'. I'll have to wait for the prices to come down. Thank you for the video.
Uh oh! I have Lemon & Lime envy …. Just bought one, it’s pretty small at the mo … glad I checked out your hints and tips cos I don’t want it to get any smaller …. Here’s hoping mine will look like yours in the future
I used distilled water until I got tired of buying it and hauling it home. My husband has a shop that's on a well, so no extra chemicals/salts in the water. Nirvana! I also have a small aquarium, and there is a little bottle of AquaSafe that makes the water safe immediately for goldfish. Just drop in 3 or 4 drops per gallon of water. Voila! Your pet shop should carry it. Sure helped my marantas and calatheas!
Awe I wish we could share photos…..I got a good size red maranta from lowe’s and it is MASSIVE…..even being my husbands favorite plant 🤣🤣🤣 It’s never given me a hard time! I love them so much! So beautiful
I have the regular rabbit tracks and variegated along with the red and lemon lime maranta. Hope to get the silver band and the black ones this year. Always love your videos
I love your content, I have just recently started following you! I must say though that you didn't stop moving that plant the whole entire video haha it was very visually distracting! but thats probably just me who noticed. I absolutely love my lemon lime maranta do you have a ruby one too?
Not sure what you're asking but I love Sol Soils and you can get 10% with code JACLYNNSJUNGLE if you're looking for soil ☺ it's linked in the description box of newer videos
@@jaclynns.jungle what your exotica 👀 I have took some cuttings I'm going to replace into the top 😍 I've even put her close to the window hoping she grows like a weed for me 😂
I bought one for a friend. I asked her how it was doing. It died. I bought her another. I made sure it was healthy like the first. It died too. I've bought myself one each time I gifted hers; mine all live and thrive. She hates me now. Oh well...."Don't hate me because my plants are beautiful!"
One of my all time favorite plants!
She's a classic!
" its absolutely stunning "
Exactement je n'aurais pas dit mieux !
Fast becoming my all time favorite, gorgeous !

I propagate mine in water, yes you need a node. I find it very easy and quick to grow roots😉
Do you use tap water or filter water?

This is one of my favourite plants. I love the kerchoviana or rabbit tracks variety because of those dark spots.
I love them too!! ☺
Hugs adorable plant fam. Beautiful. She definitely looks happy and growing. 🤗❤️🌱🌿🪴🎄🎅🤶🎁

You got this!! It really is such an easy going plant in my opinion! Keep her in a pot with soil that retains moisture and you'll be fine! 😊
I’ve never bought a Maranta. I’m not sure if I don’t like them, or if I just haven’t found one I like enough to buy. Time will tell 🙃

It's pretty hard not to move the plant around when you're talking 🤷🏻♀️
Do you use tap water or Distilled/ rain water? It really is beautiful 💛💚🍃🍋💚
I use tap water! Mine is pretty clean 😊
mine has a love hate relationship with me so im here to learn…
Maranta will be like that sometimes 😅
Pay a LOT of attention to what you're watering it with.
How often do you fertilize? I just got a red one and I killed the last one. Thanks for any tips.
Probably once a month, if I remember 🤣
Good information
Happy to help! ☺️

Your friend probably needs a Hoya instead haha! Inconsistent watering on these is no good, so maybe try a more forgiving plant 😊
@@jaclynns.jungle You nailed it Jaclynn!:)
Ok in the comments I just learnt there's a silver and a black one, google here I come for pictures!
I love them both!! 😊
