the man is more than a guitarist, he is thee guitarist. Saw him at the Sage UK totally blown away. god thanks for bringing albert into the world when I was here.
I've just finished reading a biography of Albert Lee , published in 2009, when he'd already been playing for well over 40 years. And here he is, in 2023! Amazing guy!
@perirgensolssthe drummer who was in a little 4 piece group with him in 1959 lives in Stockholm .There are pics of him in the auto biography book .He is 83. I have contact with him most every other day .He also played drums backing Gene Vincent when hw went to Sweden years ago .
So cool to see a Albert Lee play live . Especially when many of are great musicians are slowly passing away. Love the stairs with the Bands/musicians names . What a historical landmark. Thank you AGK
Listen to his guitar parts on Steve Wariner's ( Crash Course In The Blues) 1991 , MINDBLOWING!! After hearing this song I bought this CD (back in the early 90's ) just to see the credits , not that Steve Wariner needs help but its so cool and professional that world class guitarists will often call on their hero's to be on their cd's !!!!!
The MC introduced Albert as Mr. Telecaster.....guess he doesn't know Albert has been using his signature model Music Man for the past 75 years or so. 😁😁
Because Hugh’s Room hadn’t finished their new location so they did a one off at El Mocambo beautifully updated club. Karen AKA Mrs. Albert Lee Thanks for coming. Played the new HR a few days ago. Hope you were there.
But why is an brilliant country guitar player plays with that annoying " strat " sound. It's a terrible sound !! Listen at the time he played the telecaster for example with Dave Edmunds ; now that was a great sound !!! This nosey sound nowadays , what a pity ...........

Yes the Elmo has seen so many legends pass thru their doors and play on stage !
A career of mass admiration , still giving his gems
A real music master man.
What a great concert! His band was also incredible.
Every member of the band were first class 👍🏻

The Elmo is legendary ive spent a good part of my life seeing legendary bands play there thru the years!
That music man guitar is a dead giveaway it's Albert!
Great show, turn up Alberts mike.
Mr Cool, been a fan since I don't remember when , but it's been a while.
Albert has kept his youthful carefree attitude until today, following the motto: Die young, as late as possible!
El Macambo still going wow!
Yup going strong !
Great show!!
The man is a legend!
앨버트 리.....이 분은 항상 수퍼 스타 에릭 클랩톤등 세션만 하시던데......모캄보 콘서트 들어보니 정말 대단한 뮤지션이였군요........,멋집니다......,
This guy is a legend and Played with EVERY player in the business Wrote many songs He's definitely under rated check him out You'll be Blown away
Absolutely, he’s a legend!
Freakin awesome
Legendary 👍🏻
Lucky you! Seeing April Wine and their special guests the Rolling Stones😊😊. I have the recording of April Wine from that night
Tremendous country stylist....influenced virtually everyone under the age of 65 who picked up a Telecaster.
The MC introduced Albert as Mr. Telecaster.....guess he doesn't know Albert has been using his signature model Music Man for the past 75 years or so. 😁😁
when he played with Chris Farlowe and The Thunderbirds in the ealry 1960’s he played a Gibson Les Paul custom 3 pick up guitar.
I have pics of him back in 1960 with a copy fender( back then it was hard to get a Fender in the UK due to some sort of embargo from the States)
Whoever ends up with Albert Lee's guitar should be obliged to play it live on stage.
Albert and the bassist work great together, and how about that boogie woogie piano man!!!
He was doing a clinic at Long and mcquade bloor Street
Sadly I missed both
Yes very special night! Hope my video helped fill in what you missed 👍🏻
Eres unico enorme
Why does it say Hughsroom behind the band? Is it the Elmo or Hughsroom?
Because Hugh’s Room hadn’t finished their new location so they did a one off at El Mocambo beautifully updated club.

Thank you for your clarification Mrs. Lee @@karenlee6013

Heroes! ( In need of a haircut.)

It's a terrible sound !!

This nosey sound nowadays , what a pity ...........
Irregardless of the guitar, brilliant guitar player 👍🏻
@@agksvinyllife I agree !!!! 👍👍
That's my only quibble....he never changes his settings. I think he has his pickup selector switch welded in that one position !!
When has a Strat ever sounded annoying 😮
@@TomClarkSouthLondon .......in country music .........
What is that drummer doing ?? Bashing about blood and guts, no style .you can see it on the bass players face
Anytime you want to come and take the sticks from me, you’re welcome to try it yourself.
