I am fascinated by this man, I can't stop watching the video in loop 😀 it's a kind of relax therapy, I don't care what's he talking about, just don't stop!
@8:50 better yet, having 2 filters on hand will allow them to be alternated, getting you completely around the drying after washing issue! Darn, wish I had seen this BEFORE I bought a new battery! Oh well...next time!
Thnaks for this, and what about the filter on the back ? Any puprose in replacing that ? I just bought a V8 after years of using 80 pound budget cordless vaccums and having to replace them almost every year.. It's hard spending that much in one go on a vaccum but hopefully on the long run i'll be saving bucks.
Hopefully you won't regret the decision. The filter on the back, depending which model of V8 you have, should be able to to be taken off and washed easily.
There’s no reason that you should thread a screw unless you are using a Phillips screwdriver that’s not the right size. I notice you are very impressed that there are 3 replacement screws which must mean that the original ones are not great quality perhaps. If you are concerned that the 3 small screws are lost whilst removing might I suggest using a magnetic hex shank Phillip head screwdriver bit ,I use them for every small job that involve hard to reach places or tight corners of an engine that you can’t fit your hand or driver in easily. The magnetic part can save you hours of searching for the original screw or hours of having to clean up & race to a suitable shop to purchase a new one. 😊
Never I hate Henry that nasty smirk loves doing backflips loves door frames and everything it touches suction loses its first use and then a chage in the bag
The main thigs will be to check the filter is clean and if its been in there for a while replace it with a new one. Also check to make sure the bin lid shuts properly and there are no blockages in the entrance to the bin as well or any of the pipes.
His explanations and directions can be understood by anyone. I am thankful that he was chosen to make the video.
Thanks for the great feedback 😊

Thanks very much 😊
Thanks a lot! I didn't even know about the filter, ready to order a new battery, but cleaning the filter did the trick. Thanks kindly, mate.
You are the best at explaining the vacuums. i could not see the bottom screws at all dust covered them even though I used canned air.
Thanks for the great feedback

What is the make of the replacement battery I couldn't find the link.
I've just subscribed
It’s a company called “Yaber”
The link should be in the description below the video
Thank you for this lovely explanation
Great tips ! Thank you!
No problem, glad the video was useful for you.
Hi - Good video. Your link though, goes to a V7 not V8 part
very informative
I cannot find the link to the battery purchase...can u provide
I have updated the link with a current one.
Thanks for this 👍
What is the brand of the filter and battery and where do I order them together?
The brand is Yaber, and if you follow the link then you can order them here: amzn.to/3LBG4OT
@@lords-electrical Looks like this is not available in the US....do you recommend different one?

My top tip is buy a vacumn that runs on mains electricity. A good quality and effective product, made in Britain, such as a Henry.
Good old Henry. Henry is a great vacuum!!

You're livin in the past man.... Might as well say get a coal powered vacuum or one pulled by a team of mini horses. 😀
Have you compared a new genuine battery with this one?
To be honest i haven't compared the 2. I would expect the genuine Dyson battery to last longer, but clearly you will pay a premium for this.
I still have pulsating not sure how to fix it

If the red flap inside is stuck what do you do ??
I need to know, too!
The Amazon link takes you to a V7 not a V8
Talks a lot doesn't say much
Very helpful
