Jeff Lynne can sing anything he attempts to sing and make it sound like he created it. When God was dishing out talent, he gave Jeff an over abundance because he knew Jeff was going to do great things. Jeff, great job.
Wow! I never even knew this existed until now... this is definitely a welcome discovery for me, being both a Beatles and ELO fanatic. Thank you for sharing!
Yes...but still appreciate the posting. Though I have the "All This and WWII" LP, I haven't played it in years! Your turntable was probably running a little fast.
Actually, I just checked the album, and I was right...running time should be 6:56 (vs 6:43 on this posting)..the extra 13 seconds do make a difference in the pitch!
I think Jeff Lynne beats Ringo at the first song. But at the second vocal is so similar to the one of John Lennon. If I wouldn´t know the fact I would believe it is the Beatles. And if you don´t listen to it very carefully.
it aint jeff lynne trying to be anyone....didnt need to, still doesnt. Just got inducted to hall of fame, and cocker used the girls chorus after Lynne, AFTER. but it aint the beatles...for sure.
Nathaniel Burke. Totally agree. It’s Jeff Lynne being Jeff Lynne. He doesn’t need to copy anyone. He is the most versatile musician ever who happens to love the Beatles
If this song was in the complete hands of Jeff Lynne, it would be an amazing song. I think the vocals he provided are amazing. such a unique Jeff Lynne twist to it. But the vocals are about the only thing good about thing song.
You say 50Cent-I Say Led Zeppelin You say Miley Cyrus-I say AC/DC You say T-Pain-I say Deep Purple You say Flowers-I say Guns N' Roses You say Hip Hop-i say Jimi Hendrix You say R&B-I scream Classic Rock You say hanah Montana-i hit you in the face 70% of teenagers have turned to Hip Hop and Rap.If you are part of the 30% that still listen to real music, copy and paste this message to another 5 videos. DON'T LET THE SPIRIT OF CLASSIC ROCK DIE!!!
this is pretty bad ! the problem is jeff lynne didn't produce or arrange it he just came in and did the vocals. i'm sure he hates it. the roy wood one is even worse. this movie was supposed to be a huge '70's stoner blockbuster. it flopped. it was an awful stupid idea.
Interesting ..... but weird idea ..... bad arrangements ..... I'm sure everybody who participated in this will regret it for the rest of their lives ....
Jeff Lynne is truly the most underrated singer/songwriter/producer of the last 40 years!
I have this LP... ITS MIND BOGGLING... I just wish there were more Jeff Lynne tracks on it

Jeff Lynne is probably the coolest person in the world.

Perfect end titles for a good film.
The Fifth Beatle indeed! great versions
I had this album back in the day wish I could find it.

I Love It
Now I am getting a hang of it-"&fmt=18" equals stereo sound.
@mbarsky Ya big difference. Was doubting it was Jeff Lynne vocals for a while there.

I can hear a bit of Channel 4 original theme
by David Dundas in there!

This production is really bad but Jeff Lynne is the Bomb love him!!!! Wish Jeff had produced this instead... sounds like a bad show tune.
Yeah. It also improves the video quality too
I see what you mean - is it supposed to be very slightly slower? I've never noticed.

Джефф уникален!..
Jeff Lynne, or course.
Sounds a little too fast/high pitched
This is Jeff Lynne trying to be Joe Cocker.

Who is singing?
Jeff Lynne
@@andrewkelly9765 and(I think), Lynne is doing his own backing vocals.

Not ELO or Jeff Lynne in your chart.
it sounds like Dylan... like a lot
I was thinking more Harrison
