Nice Block 🏀X Bring the Action 🗑
If you listen to Iggy on Club Shay Shay, he described Lebron's block the very same way.
JJ showing Bron the clip of him making Bron turn around on defense was hilarious 😂
What I was thinking is how do you not feed Dwight in that moment. He looked to have position.
This should be the intro to the pod lol just him breaking the ankles
He petty af for that 😂
Iggy did that to himself. He was fouled previously, didn't want to brick more, and was avoiding the foul. This guy is a fucking idiot
JJ gotta get the white pay back you know how their egos are
That game 7 was probably the best game I ever seen in my life
By far. Phenomenal
game 6 was great too. forever will be my favorite finals to watch
I hope to see another series like this in my lifetime
Draymond was a monster in that game 7. He had six (6) three’s in that game, led the game in scoring and rebounds.
He went 11-15 fg; finished with 32 points, 15 rebounds, 9 assists… probably his greatest ever single game.
Actually same. had the fam & friends over to watch it. Ray Allen had the greatest shot but Heat did what they wanted in OT
When I woke up this morning I didn’t think I was gunna hear LeBron James call JJ Redick a buttfucker, but I’m here for it. 😂 Bron is too damn funny, man. He said “We could literally do this all day bro.” LeBron, I could LISTEN to you do this all day. This is amazing.
Holy glaze
Gah damn you doing tricks on it

🤣🤣 This man curses like a kid who just learned the words
i thought i was the only one that noticed that. lmao
Facts lol
Its just look like that cause you dont see bron much in non televised convo.
probably because we dont hear him cuss much
I mean, bro had to conduct himself alot since 16. Cussing is probably not that common to him😂😂.
Jr. Smith hit 2 or 3 big jump-shots comin out of halftime that help set the tone for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2nd half..
99% of people forget about that. It was 42-49 at halftime and GSW ended the first half on a 9-2 run or something. JR came out of halftime and hit 3 perfect swishes to bring them back 2. And when you add into his contest on Iggy on the block... People love to talk about Kyrie and LeBron's performance for good reason, but without JR man the Cavs would've lost.
@@Kreze202
Yes, sometimes it's easy for people to forget certain sequences that had taken place during a certain series.. Like game 7 vs the San Antonio Spurs with Shane Bathier.. That dude literally hit 6 out of 8 3's..
I point to this all the time when talking about that game. People forget it. But warriors went into halftime confident and wanting to run an Swish hit those shots. I think it was two 3s and a long 2 like one step inside the line.
Also, Kevin Love playing excellent defense on Curry.
@Kreze202 That last statement isn't fair to say. It took everything, that happened, to win. You can't say without JR hitting those shots, they don't win, because I can say without Kyrie hitting the shot over Curry, they don't win. Lol. Of course people going to highlight the Block and the Shot over everything else, because they came in the final minutes. In the clutch.
Iguodala to Curry

Oh blocked by James!
Ohhh My Goodness

And super human defensive recovery by LeBron James.

And what did LeBron even say? What's the insight? LeBron sprinted back, Jr played good defense making iggy double pump, and LeBron got the block. Man we've all seen it.
LeBron like, I was thinking to myself saying Jr don't foul him. Oh yeah I been telling me team all career (no just that series) that I'm coming so don't foul... Bro can't even keep his story straight, and ya'll slurp that shit up.
LeIQ explained that perfectly 💯
If you watch that play, the only one who could have stopped him from getting to that ball was God himself. Both Iggy and Steph were doomed the moment they sprinted past the half court. It was just a matter of which of the two would have gotten their sh$t blocked then. Lol
Bruh, we got robbed of having the best finals😢 once KD joined them
His memory is INSANE. A guy who's almost 40, who has been in the NBA for 20 years should be remembering this occasion so vividly. Yes, I get it was probably the biggest game of his career, but little details that he remembers is astonishing and remarkable.
“How’d you miss that” 😂
JJ was so stunned he turned Bron, he missed the middy! 😂 5:56

I like LeBron but not a huge fan as others. But what he did in those Finals was one of the best Finals performances I ever saw. Winning Cleveland a championship and I think he led his team in every major stat. Insane. Against a GS team in their prime. damn. I was in awe after that series.
He lead BOTH teams in every major stat. 😂😂 just insane.
He would practically never come out of the game that series too. Pretty sure he played all 48 minutes in game 7. He's nothing short of incredible. Im not even a huge LBJ fan either but he is without a doubt the GOAT of his generation
I agree. Only sad part is that GS got hurt. If they hadnt, it wouldve been a bigger achievement.

The art of the chasedown is so underated. Wall bron wade etc are some of the best I ever seen at it
I've never been glued to a podcast the way I've been to this one like damn. Keep going, this has been great.
Brian Windhorst has a good insight on the block. Iggy missed some free throws before this play. On the drive JR smith is with him but instead of making contact and potentially going to the line, he adjusts leaving LeBron just enough room to make the block.
Windhorst forgot to add LeBron's Block meant NOTHING as the Kyrie 3 would've put Cavs up 1 even if Iggy made the layup. Block happened w/ 2 minutes left, LeBron bricked a shot after that, GS didn't score again the whole game w/ Kyrie forcing a Curry Airball and later Love staying with Curry not getting shook and forcing a Brick. BOTH those defensive plays were more important than LeBron's Block.
@@heirrose1606Holy revisionist 😂😂 hindsight is always 20/20 no matter what you yapping about its still an iconic play
@@ayevince8857 he didnt get enough love from his parents dont mind him
@@heirrose1606 In pure basketball analysis maybe depending what goes into scoring certain plays like that, but accounting for the human element the LeBron block was definitely more impactful. Kyrie no longer has to make the shot to not be down, and who knows what effect that had on Curry's mental state and how that affected his shots, no to mention motivate the defense. You've acting like the people who gone too far in the realm of analytics, they're extremely useful for determining certain things and amazing at figuring out trends, not so much at factoring in the mental part of the game.
@@Alexander_Grant If 2 minutes left in a Finals Game 7 isn't enough motivation for a player to get amped & lock in they lost already. Curry was still firing 3s confidently like he always has. LeBron said Kyrie was supposed to drive on Curry but instead went for 3 so that "had to" is inaccurate conjecture. Kyrie shot it w/ 55 seconds left, 5 left on the shot clock. "Had to" would've been if it was the last possession. Kyrie shot the 3 instead like Curry did because Shooter's shoot. Analytics has nothing to do with the scoreboard and what actually happened those last 2 minutes, they are to predict probability. Cavs analysis told Kyrie to drive but he shot the 3. That's human. Just like Curry wants to shoot the 3s because he's human and he's built his legacy on 3pt shooting before analytics convinced teams to shoot them en masse. Curry did that first before analytics.
Im a huge KObe fan but hearing this man talk about the game is amazing and starting to appreciate Brons greatness.

1:40 “all I can see is JR… I gotta get back” 💀💀💀
you cant talk about lebron's iconic block without mentioning kyrie's shot, it is equally amazing and legendary
Kyrie forcing Curry to Airball a 3 after the block was more impressive than the block, just like Love sticking with Curry on the Final shot. Reminder LeBron's Block meant NOTHING as the Kyrie 3 would've put Cavs up 1 even if Iggy made the layup. Block happened w/ 2 minutes left, LeBron bricked a shot after that, GS didn't score again the whole game.
im not even a big NBA fan but I will never forget this series. I agree tho, the dagger is just as iconic as the block. However, imo, the block is LBJ's defining moment. He played practically all 48 minutes, was leading the team in points, and still had the energy to get the chase down block. Then he trusted his teammate enough to take the next shot after the timeout instead of him. That sequence in game 7 shows what kinda player he is.
JR emptied all his brain cells on that play🙏

His chase downs are iconic. I’m not a big fan, but those moments are always amazing.

Lol "hit the rim" isn't that goaltending than 😂
It didn't affect the shot so no, the shot was already blocked by then anyways
If it doesn’t move the rim or effect the shot it’s clean
No
No. For a goaltend you have to touch the rim before the block which potentially alters the shot by shaking/vibrating it. Since the block was made before the ball hit the backboard, while the ball was still going up and before making contact with the rim it is a clean block.
Him going out w two hands for the reverse layup is nuts
