I went back to watch that video from 6 years ago. It was one of the best defensive plays in the finals.
The best.

Oh ok you said the Finals!...cause Tayshaun jumping from the 3 point line was pretty crazy!😆
It is the best defensive plays in nba history considering everything that was at stake
@@PerkVFL couldn't agree with you more, Daniel.
Iggy talking about the sound of the block is crazy cause he’s probably the only one to ever hear it I never thought about that
Right.
No one mentioned the sound
⏰️ waking up in the middle of the night "BLOCKED BY JAMES" IN A COLD SWEAT 😓.
Lol what an experience
Greatest block ever
Blocked Iggy so hard he became a fan
Respect to iggy for how down to earth and respectful he is...alot of ppl would be salty and not wanna discuss it but Iggy real cool about it. I appreciate that energy
Iguodala a genuine dude!
I remember dropping down to my knees in amazement when he made that block

Even though Iggy's won his multiple chips it's impressive to be that humble and objective about that monumental block.
Props to both teams that finals. Entertaining.
Best Finals ever!
Ty Lue- Bron your leading everyone in stats halfway into next seaon, but I need more from you.
Im not a curry or bron fan but you cant deny greatness and that block will be remembered even 20 years from now , stop hatin and start appreciatin..
That was as much of a dumb play by Iguedalla as it was a great play by Lebron.
That's crazy... lol
Even crazier is setting up ppl for the chase down block 🚫 🏀
It cost us the chip but it was beautiful 😂
These 20 seconds coming from the previous year's Finals MVP finishes the Goat debate.

He’s like … you know what, “I ain’t even mad.”
Nobody gives Jr credit for being in the way
Credit for being in the way what are you talking about do anyone get credit for that no
LeBron was so determined to get a stop in that moment, that I believe even if Jr wasn't there, he would still block it somehow
@@jamesjameswhattheladyssayl7657 I mean being in Iggy's way dummy, that's why he layed the ball up the way he did
@@caliba100 maybe but Iggy dunked on lebron before so it's definitely not automatic
respect for iggy
That series is when LeBron passed Jordan in my book. The Cavs were down 3 games to 1, and no one gave them any chance at winning the series against the 73 win Warriors Team, but LeBron recorded back to back 40+ games to tie the series, and then in game 7 he recorded a triple double highlighted by his superhuman block on Andre Iguodala. Jordan knew that LeBron did something that no other player has been ever to do, which is come back from a 3 game to 1 deficit. Jordan reacted angrily after LeBron and the Cavs won, because he knew the deal.
Why would a guy who never had to comeback from 3-1 b/c his teams never needed a Game 7 to win a chip be upset about a guy who had to come back from 3-1 to win. That's just silly.
@@josephstreet920 Jordan never faced a 73 win team. That Warriors team had the best record in NBA History. You are silly for not acknowleging that fact!
@@StevenC32 That's bc he was the 72-10 win team and unlike those Warriors he completed the journey by winning the chip. Not to mention it was done in the midst of a three-peat. Try again. He was the main reason most of the top 50 players never won a title. why would he care about a 3-1 comeback? Again you're being silly.
Wow this whole time I thought: “Dang Lebron had the presence of mind to use his left arm to protect himself since he came out so fast” But he was actually defending the other side of the rim as well!?! Definitely we’ve been taking his greatness for granted.
Watching Iggy hands movements is almost like that dude in the hood that don't know how to play ball🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 crazy cuz he's a whole professional 🤣🤣🤣🤣
those chairs are mad as
It was so fast
Should've dunked it and he wouldn't have had to be reflecting on getting his ish blocked. Still trying to figure out how he was given that finals mvp.
Those... Chairs? Seats? Couches? Whatever they are they look uncomfortable af
Just looking back at the play, Bron was running beside him at a distance the whole way. How did he not see him? but yeah, probably should have took it all the way instead of passing to Steph - cause he actually WAS in Steph's blind spot, so he didn't know until right after the pass

I wonder how many ppl watched the finals?
I wonder how many rewatch drom.time to time?
I watch at least once per year
Respect for Iggy admiring amazing play instead of downsizing or saying anything else to cover it up. One of the best finals ever and definitely the biggest block in NBA history. That’s a shame Snake destroyed this promisingly evolving rivalry.
its not hard to talk about when you got 4 chips. im a dubs fan since birth and im just slightly annoyed by it now

It’s a help bloc
Giannis has the biggest bloc N NBA history vs the suns a couple years ago
@@MyKeeP81I think it's not the rings, it's because he's a role player a super star would never describe that play like that.
If someone ask Curry about the 2 blocks lebron did to him in a game, Curry would never describe it like that.
These two minutes will break Skip Bayless’ heart lol
No doubt the biggest block in NBA ever. It took the air out of the building and it was silent.
I love his humility! The sign of a great person.....and that to me was LeBrons greatest play of his career.
Iguodala to Curry, back to Iguodala, up for a layup. Oh Blocked By James!!
Many people share that opinion, and it reiterates the greatness of LeBron.
He is the the greatest scorer EVER, having surpassed Kareem, he has bucketloads of highlights, and one of his most iconic plays is a Block....dude is amazing!
I don't know if he is "The Greatest of All Time", I really don't care for that conversation...I'm just enjoying watching him and AD go to town on the Playoffs!
A great play based on a dumb play by Iguedalla. This was not how you handle going downhill while being chased. This was telegraphed. The easy and smart play was to stop, fake and let the defenders fly by and crash.
This is the 1st time I’ve heard that the Lebron chase down block is actually a set defensive play for a fast break. Genius
Yep that’s sound like his style !
Jr tried to block iggy shot he ain't try and strip him, iggy humble here but he cap on that for sure
@@drealboy_ block the shot, strip its all the same if the ball is still in his chest area. How are you going to tell Iggy he's lying when thats what he believed. Go sit down.

That’s what Abdul-Jabbar said about Kermit Washington crushing Rudy Tomjanovich’s face in ‘77.
The best Finals series of all time IMO, coming back from down 3-1 is nuts and probably won't happen again in our lifetimes
I gotta tell you as a guy over 40 who can say he's stuck in 90's NBA I agree with you 100 percent. The first one and this year were some great time to watch esp this one. Even though it's not on the same level it took me back to the 1994 Knicks/Rockets where Knicks were up 3-2 and Houston came back. Me being a Knicks fan of course wishes a different outcome but Pat Riley was out coached and should of sat Starks for Rolando Blackmen like he said years later. Game 7 finals are great
Against a 73-9 team and the unanimous 2 time MVP. Yeah it probably won't happen again. We're blessed
I think with the way the league is today and the focus on the 3 point shots, I think overcoming a 3-1 lead is far more common today and we will see more. Remember that very same year GSW came back 3-1 on the Thunder in the previous round.
The actual games themselves were terrible lmao. Mostly blowouts back and forth. But the meaning is up there for sure.
@@jigeahah5058 Yeah lol imagine there being a BETTER shooter than Steph. we never gonna see that again
When LeBron’s documentary comes out 20yrs from now, there will be more haters than fans watching.
All the haters going to be tuned in in awe
NO, there'll be far more fans than haters. Truth is, the haters are NOT the majority at all, they just seem like it because they live on the social media sites just waiting to hate lol.
That’s so not true.
The Hate groups seem like they are bigger than what they are but it’s mainly due to them being obsessive and not having normal social lives.
Hate groups and their members aren’t normal people with normal lives so they spend countless more hours hating than all of us do being fans.
We outnumber them we just don’t invest as much energy as them because we have happy lives and hobbies.
Hater is just a nice way of saying loser.....haters just never reached their potential, so they'll s---- on anyones success.....just a bunch of broke losers.....lol
FACTS
Bron would've had 2 more rings easily had kd not ruined the league
I still watch that block because man look at how much ground he covered! Plus he was almost at the top of the square if not right at it. Still the best block I’ve seen!
Lebron has a legit 4 hall of fame careers in one 💁🏾💁🏾 that’s crazy
1st run in Cleveland at the age of 22 he leads his team to the finals 💁🏾 becomes mvp 2 times wins gold in the Olympics
2.( The heat team )goes to the finals all 4 years wins 2 titles and a gold medal .. gets sports illustrated sportsman of the year .. gets 2 more mvps finished 2nd in defensive player of the year award voting
3. Goes back to Cleveland goes to finals every single year 💁🏾 completes the greatest comeback ever against the greatest regular season team ever after being down 3-1 ..
4.Goes to lakers becomes leading scorer all time while being a pass first player 💁🏾💁🏾 wins a championship and is a all star 19 of 20 seasons..
If you think that’s not 4 separate hall of fame careers if he had retired after each one you are a hater and most of you are 💁🏾💁🏾
Might be the biggest loser too with those 6 finals losses
@@twoxos of course his career would be better if he had lost before the finals, right?
How?
@@dilach41 nah it’d be better if he was 6 and 4 or 7 and 3

That is an underrated part of the play...LeBron was ready to block both sides of the rim
Glad he made sure to include JR in that play as well cause without that hesitation, there is no block. And I've been saying for year they set it up. Glad Iggy came out and said it.

Haven't seen nothing like that since 2016, easily could've been the greatest rivalry ever! Just too bad it only lasted 2 years, and no it was no rivalry after Durant got in the mix
Yeah with no Durant LeBron would of atleast won 1 if not both of the two they won with Durant
30 for 30 from all the dudes that played against Bron is gonna sound like once upon a time, there was superhero playing in the NBA
Iggy, great sportsmanship there. No downplay, no excuses, just giving credit to an opponent who made a great play. But yeah, looking back at the block, lebron had both sides covered. That's crazy.
My heart still hurting from that play 😢❤️🩹💛💙
One of the greatest blocks in NBA history.
When dre said “DAYUM” I was cryin dawg 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 respect 💪🏼 love to see it lmao cuz said I ain’t see it I heard it 😂😂

He had to Pay homage to LBJ 💪🏿
greatest block in finals history period. 💯💯
Skip always try to take away from Bron block by saying JR affected the shot. Turns out it was planned that way. Makes it even better.
“Blocked by James!” was such a wild call.
If Iggy would’ve tried to dunk it was going to be a foul. He missed 2 fts earlier in the game as well, scary lol
I'm a warrior fan but when i was watching that live, I had the same reaction as Andre lol. Can't even hate on a play like that although it hurt
O yeah.. easy to say live.. mf
I really love his honesty ❤
Actually all golden state fans is still hearin those "blocked by james!!"
Iggy made Shannon day
Remember getting goosebumps from the block and the call.. like wow he really just blocked that. One of the great hustle plays.
The Greatest finals of all time 3-1 deficit

I like this new setup!
Lebron literally had every angle covered
😂😂😂 boom!.. made me laugh 😅 THE KING
I really respect Iggy for his perspective on this. He kept it real
Rightfully so this is going to stay one of the greatest blocks in NBA Finals history. However, I still don't understand why never is it heard the role JR Smith plays. Without him, I gondola doesn't double clutch to give LeBron that needed split second.
He looks like he could be Magic Johnson son. Seriously
Bro.. Unc is built like a tank lol
Super humble guy, respect 🫡
Bro was fanboying in the middle of closing time in a Finals Game 7 lmao
Fans can say whatever they want but the players know how good LeBron was and is.
“Oh blocked by James!” 😂😂😂
"Oh blocked by James!"
That moment Iggy describes as the "victim" of great play is just perfect. I get the same when playing; when the opponent does something extraordinary, it's hats off, respect, no point being bitter or resentful. Shows love for the game and for the competition.
For 3 mins no team could score the basketball 🏀 so if he had score that layup the warriors would have gain momentum again so Bron blocking it was the only way to save the game
IMA Kobe diehard idgaf wat nobody say he da best ever. I hated Lebron but he started growing on me wen he came back to Cleveland.. Bron has defly surpassed the top spot, I'll keep it 100. I'm glad I saw every second of it!!!
Why do people hate another player because they love another one. It's ok to like or admire both and be loyal. The die hards will try to discredit lebron because they like kobe or jordan. If you're good you're good. I never understood that. I hate kobe bryant not because I like lebron but I'm no fool to not give kobe credit for being good
Wonder how many times he wrote and rehearsed what he's going to say when people ask him about this
I always wonder why didn’t he embrace the contact on a fastbreak, it would’ve Fasho gotten a foul called or why didn’t Steph throw the alley oop 🤔
It's easy to say it now because it happens but in the moment it's happening so fast u have to make quick decisions sometimes its not the right one
"BOOM"
