This podcast and others like it will educate the audience and an audience that's more educated and knowledgeable about basketball will tend to stay away from the type of content that we currently see on the big networks which is why they want to spin what LeBron and JJ say to spread false narratives because more people tuning in to this podcast is bad for them in the long term.

The Thing That’s Genuinely Funny About That Team Was How Dominant That Team Was Despite Wade Being Injured And Leaving His Prime. I Genuinely Can’t Imagine What ‘13 LeBron & Like ‘11 Wade Would’ve Did Together. They Won 27 Straight Games , 66 Wins Overall & Had A 43 Game Stretch In Which They Went 41-2 Up Until They Loss Game 1 Against Chicago In The 2nd Round. They Loss More Games Than They Would Have In The Playoffs Probably Because Wade Was Injured Dealing With 3 Bone Bruises In His Knee & His Other Knee Had Borderline Arthritis. He Averaged 16 PPG In The Playoffs But Was Able To Turn It Up At Key Moments. Game 7 Vs Indy , Game 4 Vs Spurs & Game 7 Vs Spurs. Honestly Was Great From Game 4 To Game 7 Of That Finals Series. They Did All That WITHOUT PRIME WADE. I Cant Even Imagine The Damage They Wouldve Did With A Full Strength Wade.

I still feel as if "I played like shit that series" is only one side of the coin to Bron's admission of letdown in the 2011 Finals. Something else happened during that series where he mentally checked out and said fucc it. I would hope that he's able to discuss after he retires perhaps. That would eclipse everything the Last Dance was IMO

Audio is crunchy or spicy or treble turned up. I get it it, peaky is occasionally fine, but for these long talks double mic them with 5 total mics; two personal lavalier mics one dialed up to catch lows, the other dialed low to catch the peaks, so that's 4 and then use a Rode shotgun mic to just capture the space. Who's got the budget for these and who's running the show? I get it, things happen, but with Lebron and JJ I mean, I'd think ya'll could find the resources for it. Happy this is a preview so you can run the entire thing through Adobe PP and just have AI clean up whatever you captured. Cheers and thanks for hearing my hyper criticism on production. I mean, we're listening to this more than we're watching this. I'm done.. My bad, all love. Nobody's getting fired just correct it. I'm not looking for a job, just put the level of effort and care into what you're doing as these men have in their careers. You gotta match that level of excellence. As JJ said, "...you could have been at your best...". Love love. Sorry, all love. This isn't even about basketball, this long note. It's about audio. Audio is everything. Everything is audio. Basketball is audio. Audio is basketball.

@@bigdawg5150 yeah they didn’t talk about it much in the video but the Heat blitzed the D Rose PnR action and with the athleticism on the help side it was really hard to score in that series.
Bosh’s length and activity in those blitz were nuts.
Also in crunch time LeBron would switch on D rose which was nuts and force even more adjustments the bulls didn’t have.

Such a great segment. Goes to show how little appreciated Coach Spo is to the media (never won COTY). And how impressive was Chris Bosh during the Heatles era.

Spo learning the spread makes me wonder if some sports aren't more mature than others in the understanding of the game. Is the spread offense a more mature phase of every sport? Should players and coaches constantly be looking at concepts in other older sports and trying to apply those to their sport? That's fascinating to me that it came from Chip Kelly.

      Yes absolutely.
Inefficiency example: Why not have as many batters on your baseball team also be able to pitch? Massive durability savings on the normal pitchers which also cost a lot of money and take up roster slots. Even if you have a dude who is just good at contact batting if he could throw an inning or twos worth of sequences that would be massive in a regular season.
Basketball imo is following euro football. Positionless, high awareness, high IQ strategies which rely on huge athletic effort at specific times to make goals.
If a player has a unique skillset in soccer they can find a place and be able to contribute as the structure requires that people pass and shoot, just like basketball.
Also waiting on more passes caught at the rim or in the catch position just like in volleyball. It's hard but any team that can execute passes with that speed and precision with reliability stands to have an unbeatable advantage.

Thank you JJ for killing that silly comment about importance. All players on the team have a role but the MOST important player is the best player. These old heat players are coming off as bitter imo.
