This enormous journal could be the Mother of All Journals -- or MoJo for short! I love scribble journaling and journaling I collage over -- lets me use words that would have shocked my mother but, ooooh, feel so good to get out. I'd love to have you do a video on your studio layout, organization, etc. It looks like such a fun place. Thanks for the smiles, as always!
I adore the bright colors on your page! You asked about our weird little quirks...mine is that I just can't seem to make anything with the bright colors...I love to look at them, but I never use them. I even bought some Dylusions sprays and almost hyperventilated when I tried to use them.
I use the dry gun, but I know what you mean. You want the splotch or run of paint to look like it does, when you use the gun, it pushes the paint in a different direction.
Hi carolyn. When i saw your book the first time (a few videos ago) i tought it looks like a ....... the mind look book A look book is normaly for Models when they go to an Addition. Thank you for showing all of your great ideas. Its always 10 minutes of fun in a not so great day. Thx for that. Sorry for my bad english. Best wishes
Although, as an artist, I understand the appeal of the large ledger journal, but as a genealogist, I cringe at the destruction of the ledger's information that could be helpful to those looking for family information. I'm hoping that the ledger's information had been extracted before it was sold.
Maybe the name could be "Gi-Jo" (Giant-Journal). Or "MoJo" (I'm terrible at naming things). WOW!!! I LOVE this page! that type of journaling, is very cool! I love that you wrote inside loops of bigger letters..... Thank you for the inspiration. =) I mess up on spelling a lot too. Hmmm.... A quirk I have... is that I have a weird phobia about chemicals and stuff.... so there are lots of products (like spray inks for example) that I have to use gloves with, or else I can't bring myself to do it... and I tend to stay away from oil products. (I do have a set of "oil pastels" but they clearly state "non toxic" so I can use them, sometimes, but they still kinda trigger my weird thing. and I have a really hard time with certain types of glues, and with fixatives.
Are you looking for a name for the big ledger journal? I think you should go with famous historical author/philosopher/scientist themes... lol. Socrates. Hippocrates (Hippo for short). Shakespeare. Or maybe Frida, after Frida Kahlo's famous journals.
I had a couple thoughts... Heath Ledger? Ledger-du-main Legless ledger/badass badger The Beast Ledge of Alliegiance Ledger horse to water, you’ll have to make it juiced My Tiny Book Of Quirks (to scale) The Monstrous Clown Barfs Big Color No! I’ve got it: The Monstronomicon! Boo Yah!
Love the huge ledger. Looks like a “Capital Color Collector for the Consummate Curator”.
Beautiful page. Love every details. Love the washi tape. You could name your journal Goliath since it's so big and impressive.

Donna Cerny MoJo is an awesome name, it takes on so many meanings and adds so many layers. I vote for this one 😊
MoJo is a stupendous name Donna! Thank you so much!
I love all the bright fun colors
That's One Giant Journal! Hey, that's not a bad name. 😁 Love this page and the technique.
LOVE this page and all the hints you give as you're working!
I love the colors you use. I love color too!

I love this journal! I also loved the smaller writing in the big loops of writing so creative and visual.
Thanks Kim!
Loved watching your process. Wonderful color!
Thanks Debbie!
That is a great journal.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Fabulous! I loved watching you create this page. That sure is a big journal. TFS
It is the largest I have ever worked in - and it feels very different from a smaller one.
The splotters are brilliant! Love your videos and colourful pages - yeah, colourful is kinda my thing too 😁👍🏻❤️
Color is happiness!
Carolyn Dube I absolutely agree! 😊
As usual, a goooorgeous spread! Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks Faith!

There's that too about heat guns!

A look book- what a brilliant idea! Thank you!
Wherever did you find that Magnificent Beast? It is beautiful, as is your work!

I agree; the loss of the information, the loss of the beauty of the vintage handwritten script was heartbreaking.
I absolutely love your channel! I've been doing more art on my own channel and wanted to thank you for so much inspiration!! Xoxox
Glad you're enjoying and playing Amanda!
Oh my Carolyn where did you get that journal? Please do tell...I love working in bigger books...
Wow... I love that journal.... Wow..... I liked some of the other title suggestions..... My idea is either Etc. or My Therapy Journal
That journal definitely is therapy - thanks Vaye!
For starters where did you find that big old ledger. What fun. I would go plain and simple. I would name it "The Book"
Found it at Ephemera Paducah great mixed media store- she had it there and it just called to me Rita.
I love those special finds. I like going to flea markets and finding old used cookbooks. Where there is a book mark usually means a recipe to try.
My big oldie
That is such a true name for it Hannie! Thanks!
Awesome page! What about Almanac of Color? or Almanac of Art? or Ledger of Luminous Colour?
Those are amazing names! Thank you for the ideas!

It is interesting what is non toxic and what isn't. And that it seems to vary by state too.
yes, and even different countries. ;) (I'm in Canada.)

Those are great ideas Lisa! Thank you!
I also hate my heat gun especially with acrylic paint i always over do it and cook the paint.
You mean paint isn't supposed to smoke Lindsay?
I always make it bubble.
Perhaps you should call it THE PLAYGROUND”
That's a great idea Kimberly! Thanks!
My quirk is that I'm scared to death of a glue gun.
I had a couple thoughts...
Heath Ledger?
Ledger-du-main
Legless ledger/badass badger
The Beast
Ledge of Alliegiance
Ledger horse to water, you’ll have to make it juiced
My Tiny Book Of Quirks (to scale)
The Monstrous Clown Barfs Big Color
No! I’ve got it: The Monstronomicon!
Boo Yah!
Big Bertha
My funny thing is I'm scared of using a glue gun.
How about calling your journal......The Oopster.........mraz
Awesome idea Arlene! Thanks!
