One thing you could do is cut out the floor around pipe going into the second floor to make it seem like it was part of the warehouse! Love the industrial builds ❤
I would have swapped out the brick wallpaper for a cheaper brick wallpaper. The base game brick on that building is super expensive compared to some other bricks we have now.
I love this lot. I like making the upstairs accessible from the outside and making it a club hangout but I like his starter home idea better. So much natural light. I do miss the wood floors upstairs.
I think Brianne should be in the Stylist career!! She gets to do photography, fashion, and lots more and do it all in the big city! And she gets fame :)
You should wall off the tower part from the main building so you can use the tower part straight away and then save up to ‘purchase’ the rest of the lot to use!

Poor Brianne always gets short end of the stick. Unlike Addison she doesn’t have any stable romantic relationship and now she doesn’t even get a proper starter home to start off with. Dad’s should at least help her by the warehouse. She can turn it into a “photo studio” and a loft space above it.
I'm not sure if a space under theunprotected staircase is the most optimal for a kitchen (dirt is the first concern) but seeing this karaoke bar being stripped from furniture was very satisfying!! I wonder if you would gain any money back by deleting any leftover flooring from under the building itself (as there was floor under the decks already)
having a hot plate is pretty common in old industrial buildings! old ones were like for coffee and soup lunches and stuff like that and newer ones tend not to bc of microwaves and coffee pots and stuff. I usually use those counter top stove top things as hot plates since we dont really have them in the game.
I don't think I've ever looked at that lot in its entirety 😂. It is cool looking. I've only ever used the first floor karaoke or hit demolish lot before building something new. Had no idea it was a cool warehouse!
I think the only thing I would do different, based on what you've done here, is lofted the second floor for the machinery as it is poking through. Which would also save a little money I think because, you know, no floor for half of that upper level. Though now I'm thinking of it, if I did that then I would also put the stairs on that lofted part.
I know it doesn't really matter in the Sims, but all I can think about is how in real life, dirt and mud would be falling off shoes and through the stairs, landing on food and the kitchen counters. 😬But it's also such a neat use of the space and so neat that it functions!
Cool build, I would just move the windows on the first floor front to the right a bit. Centered on the wall, they'll be under the similarly sized ones on the second floor.
The sims would never do it but it would be cool if after we leave build mode there would be a little cutscene or sequence playing out with a construction crew building everything we did from the ground up. It happened in world of warcraft when they added a new seaport in the city of stormwind but instead of just having an update with the seaport appearing out of nowhere, they had it looking like construction men were working around that area for a whole month in real time carrying things like planks and hammering things then did the update and it was there. Could be as something simple as when you go to sell them they deduct money rather than give it back. But if someone found a way to make it when you clicked on them in game to make a "get repaired" option would really enhance game play for when you want to do a rags to riches or self made story line. Would even be nice to further that by when you put cracks and issues in the build it decrease's the cost of purchase, again like in real like where a dilapidated/abandoned building would cost less due to the potential issues it has. And would give your sims a negative moodlet whenever there are cracks and things to give incentive to get them fixed.
