    This is one of the best nature videos I've ever seen. You didn't talk and yammer; you showed both closeups and herd movement. I could even hear the sound of their feet on the pavement. It's like I was really there. Thank you so much.

    Great video. The bison are one of the greatest comeback stories in America. It's hard to believe that at one point they were almost totally wiped out. So it's heartening to see so many calves. Gorgeous Yellowstone view.

      Its enjoyable to imagine such a scenario. However, just this past week, a foolish woman attempted to pet a bison in Yellowstone and was gored by its horn, and tossed into the air. Her injuries were so severe, the closest hospital had her lifeflghted via helicopter to a hospital with a trauma unit.

      When I visited Yellowstone in 1985 a very friendly Ranger gave me a sheet that listed how many people had been killed that year by animals in the park. People who'd gotten out of their cars to get a better look, take a close up photo, or tried to touch an animal. She was very nice about it and not trying to scare me, just doing her job. I said I was from Australia and she laughed and laughed. "You know about thangs that can kill ya!" She said and waved me on.

    In Yellowstone. When you find yourself in a Bison parade with calves. Pull over. Shut your engine off. Do not make a sound. It would be better to keep your windows up. Do not get out of your car or truck. Just enjoy the show.

    Better this than the traffic jams caused by Walmart patrons walking in the middle of the street all the way to their car or even hogging entire aisles in the store. Heaven forbid there's two or more of them walking side by side. When one passerby needs to get by them, the cognitive malfunction takes over as they start twitching and jerking until they're forced to break up their slow moving meat wall and get behind their buddy so others can pass. Like is your friend gassy or something?! Move and let others by! There's two or more of you together and one of me. I can't very well move half of me behind my own arse so YOU move genius. Anyway, nice video!

      When you see all of the animals taking off and getting as far away from Yellowstone as they possibly can, you had better be right behind them. I trust the instincts of animals over people any day of the week, because they know about things before we do.

    • @vickimeyers2672

      Just make sure if you're watching a video stating the bison are panicking and leaving the park, that the bison are truly heading out of Yellowstone. Years ago, some idiot posted video claiming the bison were evacuating as the caldera was going to explode. Having traveled consistently through the park for 6+ months, I quickly recognized the stretch of road and landmarks in the video. The bison were headed into the park, not leaving. True story! 😁

    • @neilcrissysbigadventures5728
      @neilcrissysbigadventures5728  2 роки тому

      Copied from Google:
      Generally, the buffalo has a larger body than the bison. The buffalo also has bigger horns. The bison has a larger head used to forage for feed during the winter months. The buffalo also has a smooth coat while the bison has a shaggy winter coat.
