PRS should think about other pickups than the ugliest pickups on the market. Looks like chinese plastic 100 dollars guitars ... I could buy one, if maybe in 2 or 3 centuries, their sleeping desingers think about changing those cheap piece of plastic they call pickkups ...
I just traded my Fender Player Series Strat of a 2022 PRS SE Standard 24 in Vintage Cherry. Well Mr. Paul Reed Smith, I'm very impressed. This guitar sounds and plays even better than it looks and it is Beautiful. Thank you for making such an amazing guitar at such a low price.
Just got mine today! The specs on this guitar are everything I've ever wanted in my guitar - the color, the shape, the double humbuckers, the coil split, the versatility of the sound, the PERFECT neck size (width, girth and length), the medium scale length between a short and a full scale electric that fits my hands perfectly, and even the cool inlays that make the guitar seem just that bit different from most. I'm a fan for life!
You may find some online on Sweetwater, Ebay and other sites, but you'll end up paying $150-$200 more, so my advice is to buy a decent $80-$100 case or solid gig bag apart from the guitar, it'll be less.
PRS is the best, just today morning I was noodling on my other guitar and I was not enjoying then I said hmm lets play with my custom 24 and man I played for 2 hours. PRS don't stop making these guitars but send all of them to me for free haha. keep it up Paul and guys!!
Picked up the blue standard the other day. First guitar I’ve bought by myself and I have to say, the moment I picked it up I felt something. I played for 15 minutes in the store and nothing felt nearly as good after. Thanks for a beautiful instrument PRS Guitars! -Sean
@@PrantikNath I bought the blue standard 24 back in early December 2021. It is really great. I have never liked a guitar as much as I do this one. Can't put it down. Love it. Hopefully it will serve me well for years to come. 2:56 Wow I am a sucker for that quacky Tele like tone. Sounds amazing.

This is the guitar I have! It is my first electric guitar. I’ve only had it for a few days and once I pick it up, I can’t put it down! It’s so petty and it sounds amazing
To anyone who is considering getting this guitar….DO IT! After playing epiphone Les Paul’s , sterling by music man ax40s, and even a fender tele for years. This PRS is honestly beats all of em. Before the PRS, my newest guitar I had was a 2020 epiphone inspired by Gibson Les Paul studio. After a few days I sold it cuz in all honesty to me the new epiphones didn’t live up to all the hype that surrounded them. So I got the PRS…it was a game changer, extremely versatile, feels and sounds amazing! I sold all my epiphones and fender. I honestly didn’t need em. These guitars are great for everything! Pop rock, classic rock, modern high gain rock/metal, old school country and modern country, ambient music, it can do it all very well!
Just played one today and it's either this or a Used SE Custom 24. And for those who think the gain sound sucks. It's just the amp,it sounded awesome through a 5150 III 50 Watt head
I need to get one of these. I like country and rock. This one can sound like a telecaster on the single coils and sound like a les paul on the humbuckers. best of both worlds. And my inspiration to pick up a guitar was Cody Canada, and he plays a PRS
You don't really understand how great PRS Guitars are until you've played one. The feel is amazing and the tones are 3 dimensional. Simply listening to them on a video is cool, but really doesn't do them justice. They really are the best guitars made, and in my opinion also have the best paint jobs.
About to buy this. I can't find so much difference between the standard and the custom but the maple top. At a lesser cost I'd buy a standard and maybe put some upgrades.
Over three years later, and this has kept its relevance for me. I used to place around a decade or so ago and looking to get back into it (hobbyist level). My old trusty Epiphone SG from back then has had a bust bridge pickup forever and felt easier to buy a new axe than working on fixing that up. For its price point this guitar feels like it was designed for what I'm after. Double cut-away, like I'm used to with the SG. Humbuckers, but with the added bonus of a coil tap. 24-fret great for those Iommi fanboy moments. Tremolo bridge. Great sound for the price. I guess after I've paid off my credit card bill I know which entry level axe I'm gonna pick up to get back into playing and it's not an SG.
