LOVED THIS! Here to say that it takes a special kind of amazing to film a 2 hour declutter and actually talk through the “why” behind each product. I am always down for a good declutter video but it’s frustrating to watch a sped up video or not have the reasons why something stays or goes. Thank you so much for filming this! ❤️

@1:21:57 Tower 28 products have a SUPER short expiry period. I've heard the lip glosses are only good for 6 months, and many people report them going bad/changing color/etc by the 6 month period.
Okay so I'm not nuts that's good
One of mine just went bad and it was 5 months 😭😭 asked them and they said it’s normal despite it saying 12 on the tube

Believe it or not I am super excited for the mauvey purple cool-toned blushes! I started getting back into those shades when I started watching you bc you taught me so much on color theory just from the short snippets of advice you give. It turns out I was onto something when I was 12!lol. Mauve was my favorite colorway but with trends and growing up I had left it behind🙄
I just got rid of my last Glossier Cloud Paint. For a long time they were the best liquid blushes out there, but makeup has come a long way baby! The colors never were just right for me, I was just mesmerized by the formula.
I live for a good declutter! 👏 I declutter most areas of my life very frequently, and if I don't like something, it's GONE. It makes me feel empowered and in control to surround myself with things that I love and to acknowledge my worth. That was pretty dramatic... I am an aries. Oops.

I love to use it on bare skin, and I don't put anything on top. It is hydrating but it also elimates shine and smooths, and somehow that tricks the eye into thinking that my skin is more clear and smooth and even, without any pigment whatsoever.
I agree that most people didn't get it.
It's not for everyone, but it's perfect for some of us that are using it for its intended purpose. It doesn't do much, but it does juuuuusssstttt enough, and that's exactly what some of us are looking for!

You haven’t even had the M*rit beauty stuff for that long! That’s crazy it’s already gone so bad. Definitely super useful to know which products don’t have longevity.

@@Nick-ei8lt I have used plenty of “clean” beauty that hasn’t smelled rancid, so I don’t see that as an excuse. Just because something is clean doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be properly preserved. I guess I just prefer makeup that has a longer shelf life and doesn’t smell expired immediately 🤷🏻♀️
@@Nick-ei8lt I don't think that means it's "fine", I think that means it's gone bad. The whole point of "clean" beauty is that there aren't the same preservatives, ingredients, etc. that non-clean brands use for various reasons, but one of the reasons non-clean brands do use certain ingredients is to extend the length of their products' shelf lives. So, the flipside of that is that (some) clean beauty products won't last as long. All I said is that it's good to know which brands/products have especially short shelf lives, since plenty of clean beauty products don't have that problem to the same degree.

I once bought the Versed pink-tinted lip slip balm and *loved* it for the first 6 days or so, at which point is started to reek of crayons :( I looked online and apparently that's a big problem with that particular product. I think it's useful and important to share experiences with products going bad quickly or almost immediately!

I have realized that our makeup preferences are so similar and I have found it so hard to find ppl on youtube w my preferences! I just ordered the Laura Mercier bc if you say it’s good i know i will love it! Everything i have bought that you recommended has been top shelf for me! THANK YOUUUUUUU! For the HoloGrave hollocinogen flakes, I just use a wet flat synthetic brush to apply. They go on and stay on like magic ✨

I really love using the becca zero pigment foundation as a primer. It fills my pores more beautifully than any other primer I have come across.

Just on the foundations, this was fun to watch because it showed just how many skin tints and foundations you liked that no one liked, but I did....that if and when the Rose Inc one runs out maybe I'll pick up some of the other ones you also like that I haven't tried yet.

i loveeee the daniel sandler liquid blushes and highlighters. i’m still soooo upset that the milk highlighter in lit was discontinued before i was ever able to get my little paws on it and now i can’t find it anywhere. 🤯
I picked up the Bite Beauty foundation (I saw your video reviewing it) since it was half off and I love it. It’s a bit too dark but will hopefully work for the spring/summer when I am darker. I totally agree about the Dior backstage foundation! It has been my favorite for the last year plus but it not working as well for me any more. It hits the 8 hour mark and starts to break up. It’s so disappointing. Ive been trying different primers to see if it will work better with no luck. 🥺
Since Bite Beauty is closing, I’m scared to use my change maker foundation since I’ll never be able to buy it again 😩 I guess I better suck it up though cause otherwise it will just go bad 😒

I’m still at skin tints but had to chin in at the Revolution Super Dewy. I never ever return stuff and idk if mine was old or something but I pumped it like once and was like hmm. Tried it and it was atrocious so I just returned it. And I never do that. I really think something was funky with it. I will just stick to my Milani Glow and the new L’Oréal balm because they are different but 2 of my favorites in the drugstore at the moment.

I got the Item Beauty concealer because of you, and omg I loooove it, but I have to exchange it for a lighter shade because it's super close to my skintone, but slightly darker and yellow toned. But I looove the formula, and the look of it on the skin(I have dry skin) and it's literally the first concealer I've ever used that doesn't crease🙌🙌🙌
