I was going to say, it seemed to be in time just fine when you were having a fuel issue and I think taking the distributor out the first time and putting it back actually put it out of time when it was just a fuel issue. Glad to see the new new distributor solved the problem as well as tinkering on the injectors
I love all your videos, but I've been working on cars for over 30 years, and every time I see you changing an electrical gas pump and every time you removed the bed. I think there's only two belt holding that tank. most of my friend say it's easier to removed the tank.
On fords def the case the issue on these chevys is all the fittings are awful hard to access and since you would need to wrenches. love that feed back though. Thanks for comment and support.
My Dad had a 454 and it had a sensor in the distributor hole, it would kill it and not start till cooled down, This will die completely if not replaced
Just another thought, I wonder what exactly was wrong with that throttle body that it wasn’t spraying fuel like it should. Are the throttle bodies such as that one rebuildable? That would be worthy of pursuing maybe at least to have a spare throttle body. Maybe in a later video, a tear down of the throttle body as well as the distributor may shed a bit of insight about why the throttle body wasn’t spraying fuel and the distributor was sounding rather crunchy sounding as it was turning. If nothing else that old distributor would be a great core for at least a reman distributor.
Yeah that's some great points and ideas for sure. Not sure what we are gonna do with distrubtor yet. The throttle body I did tear it down and nothing makes sense as to why it won't spray. Gonna keep digging I guess. Thanks for watching and the comment and the support. We really appreciate it.
@@JMRRebuilders One other point is that the other throttle body wouldn’t spray fuel either until it was tapped on with the small hammer. Kind of makes you wonder if there may be a check valve on each side of the throttle body that may be sticking. I wonder if something like a good dose of SeaFoam in the gas tank circulating throughout the fuel system at this point wouldn’t be a great benefit to internally lubricate the fuel system. Thus Goes The Saying; If You Don’t Use It, You Will Lose It. Let’s Go!!!

Well thats a great one for sure and honestly I love it. Orignally it stood for 3 friends Jason, Mike and Ryan. But now they are all gone except for me. What that say about me? Anyways, I like to say it stands for JESUS MY REDEEMER, just as Jesus Redeems us We Redeem ole trucks
@JMRRebuilders I watch all your videos, even the older ones. They're interesting. By the way, I fix older trucks, too. And I'd make my own videos if I didn't stutter. But I'm afraid the ridiculers will take all the fun out of them.
Well the ridicule is part of a society that has little physical accountability unfortunately. Trust me I get blasted almost daily by people in the comments about how loud, fat or how much better landon could do without me. It's part of the sad reality of social media. Don't let the hate stop you from achieving your goals. let's go brother
Cant get enough of this GMC check out this step side we did same color and all ua-cam.com/video/r04yRSoksYs/v-deo.html

JMR Rebuilders, do you wanna collab?
IF you do trucks we would love to collab. Thanks for comment and support.
What I suspect is that it’s a GM product. A Ford power plant would solve all the issues. Here comes the controversy 🤣
You are 100% correct sir. Ford makes everything better evem gmc trucks. Thanks for the comment and support
