I've seen several youtubers that get the motor unstuck by taking the clutch inspection cover off, and using a prybar on the flywheel teeth, it's a more direct way to do it and doesn't involve welding a bar to the crank pulley, which I've honestly never seen until this video haha

Thats is actually a great idea. I wish I could claim to be a trend setter but I learned it from Sleeper dude. Also we have another video we did it to and she actually turned over. I will put the link below. I wouldnt do it if the plan is to get that motor running and driving. We have plans with the red truck but they dont inlcude that motor stay tuned. Very good. Take some shop courses (a few basic ones if you aren't on an auto body career track. Otherwise get hold of a Sixties or Seventies vintage car guide. Then get into more complicated stuff (emissions valves, fuel injectors, computers) as time goes by. There are some old Army films on UA-cam to provide some excellent references. So much has remained the same even in the age of Teslas. All you have to remember is detail and principles and lots of old tin cans for keeping parts. Then mark the spark plug wires with masking tape.

I got one of those for free about 7 years ago. Someone called me and asked me to haul it away. F100 shortbed step side, 1981. White with blue interior. I towed it home, had it running in about an hour, and sold it the next day for $600! It just had a HUGE vacuum leak!
