The quartz aquanaut is a ladies watch. typical rich ladies have too many watches and wear them too infrequently, and end up being always wrong on time. hence they reserve the quartz watches for women.
That Chopard has a pillar shape which looks like a guy strangling a person in wheelchair.
Rolex Deepsea in 18k was designed with the end of the world or at least the crash of the market in mind. To be used as a currency! Or Rolex literally stroked gold!

It's way out of my price-range and also out of my usual ..err.. taste-range? ... but that platinum 1908 is an absolute beauty. No idea why, but while I find the yellow gold version almost offensively boring and grandfatherly looking and the white gold just boring, that platinum I would actually consider buying if I had the cash lying around. Or the need for a conductor's dress-watch.

I regret paying £4k for a Monaco!! There was a green bezel Rolex for £6k in the next case😮 but £120k!!!! Come on!!

i love your writing andrew, but the visuals are challeging! they are so fast and you can't focus on anything and they repeat so often. i end up having to pause the video regularly and then google static images of the watches you are discussing. what would happen if you just played the promotional footage at like 1/4 speed? maybe some still shots? just a thought. cheers.

I saw the gold tudor black bay and accidentally insulted it. I got very excited because I'm saving for an all bronze black bay and asked if it was the bronze one and the sales guy was like no, that's the most expensive tudor they have. All gold xD

I've had a blast, as well, enjoying your video. "Pause and rewind time..." "Strain your pasta..." Wonderful stuff. As for me, I think of all those gears and wheels and springs whirling and springing and wheeling in extremely cramped quarters and it seems to me like a horological horror show. Which is why I wear quartz. No, really.
I am still missing a SkyDweller with smaller diameter! Not such a clocktower for the wrist ;-)
And more complicated watches for women - and don't tell me the 41 mm types from Breitlings sold as "ladies watches" are small. I am talking about 35-36 mm!
I think the industry is missing out a huge number of potential customers by ignoring this ...

Please explain "worst", when it costs several thousands of euros. Craftmanship? Quality? Just the looks?
Some "watches" cost several millions of dollares, personally i find them fuxxing ugly, totally useless and extremely overpriced - but are they bad?
The installation presenting the Grand Seikos at Milan design week was cool, but the dials just kinda looked flat and dirty, we've been spoiled by the snowflake!
Opinions seem quite consistent with this years W&W. The IWC and JLC are well like with the same not being shared about the Golden Rolex. What are Tudor and Tag thinking. While I'm not a snob, there is no logic spending that cash vs a JLC or A Lange Shone. Remember the demise of the VW Phaeton - guys, this is why it failed !!

I'm 70 but if you threw the gold DeepSea in a lake I would dive in after it. It seems people are jumping on the hate bandwagon, but my only question is Why? Why would you ever dislike anything this solid and gold? Rolex can and should do whatever it wants to do.
That Tag Heuer is a fugly abomination. And 100k plus for a Tag? What are they smoking? Nobody is going to buy this _ever_ and the only people to ever own one will be most likely a couple of athletes who get one for free from Tag to be some sort of 'brand ambassador'. I can't even begin to describe how much I hate it.

As a watch collector i really like your content. But as a professional content creator, video editor and director i really do not like your ‘modern’ design logo.
It just does not fit your classic, eloquent way of presenting and being.
Ofcourse just my opinion, but i wanted to share it anyway. I watch your content, enjoy you talking and then all of the sudden i see that awefull colourful logo 😬 (which is also difficult to read)

I just don't get people buying Tudor. They are a bargain Rolex, essentially, and when a watch enthusiast sees a Tudor he immediately knows the owner is somebody who didn't get what they actually wanted.
