Fellas my little 3 year old needs an upgrade and his first non plastic tool kit to help his old man work on his TD Cortina.
He already loves getting hands on, dirty and trying to help locate the 10mm and 13mm socket. If selected I'll be able to borrow his in the interim 😂 I'll even get some footage of him spinning spanners in a future upload on my channel with a shout out!

I’d like to nominate my nephew Hudson from @carportcustomsaus on UA-cam. Just a 16yo kid having a go and trying to show the next generation it’s about having a crack not throwing your hands in the air and saying you can’t do it. However being a 16yo apprentice he doesn’t have a lot of money to spend on big kit toolboxes and a kit like this would go a long way with all of his projects.

I run a mild 350 in a HQ. Long time ago I swapped the open Salisbury for a Ford 9 inch LSD. A year later I swapped back. The 9 inches take a lot more power to turn. I've been looking at these truetracks, might do the swap, thanks for the video.

Nice one lads!!! Shame it didn't fit straight up but then that's what the shims are there for and just 0.3mm will make it a much tighter fit. If it's too tight a fit then it'll prematurely wear the bearings due to too much preload on the bearing from the shims. Plus now the backlash will be set properly.

Well I don't need the tools but one of my highschool buddies Thomas sure do, he purchased a VY SS ute not running for $900 because the owner said the motor was seized but somehow he figured out the problem within days and got it running, poorly, but running on all eight cylinders. He just built his VX S Pac commodore up from scratch and then his dirt bike and all his dads tools were stolen so he now has no tools apart from a small 8-15mm spanner set. I would love this kit myself but personally I don't want anymorw tools as I've got enough. Just thought of a good mate of mine. Take care and love these videos they're crazy inspiring😊

Are we going to get a run down of why the diff centre wouldn’t go in? Needed different shims?
P.S my 21 year old daughter could do with that cool tool kit so she stops borrowing (taking lol) mine when working on her first car 😂

Hey I am Jesse, I'm 17 working on a 92' TR magna wagon, that was built while my dad worked on the production line at Tonsley! I am super keen to get into Valiants when I get older and could afford one, good luck to everyone and hope someone who truly deserves it wins!

We’ve had luck in the past getting the centre cold as well as using brake clean to chill the shims. Still a fight.
Love your work always good to see Aussie’s reinvesting and stepping up their UA-cam game, should do a road trip over the Nullarbor to Perth 😉

    Stop filming diffs!!! 😂
My son (21) has some great tools at work, but he really would love to have some quality tools at home to work on his VS Ute (and maybe I could pinch them to work on my HG ute 😉)
