I thought Nathan would have painted the accelerator bracket. It is what it is!
Oh he will, we just ran out of time
put the 1" holesaw on after the 2" is installed on the arbour (at the same time).....bingo you can now cut a 2" hole using the 1" holesaw as the center locator.
It is what it is ;-)
Normally we would, but in this case, the original hole was off centre to where we need the new hole to be
Colin Furze did a fantastic episode on tool and shed skills hacks. Well worth a watch. So many great ideas.
@@HackshopGarage Cool, that bit wasnt clear as you said the existing hole was in the perfect location.
It is what it is! Especially when you want to stop! I had to laugh at Camo's Nintendo reference, that brought back memories!
Binky would be proud of that bracket.
The cortina your working on, brings back so many memories for me. I used to own one exactly the same. Same colour and interior until it came to a sad end. Some arsehole threw brake fluid all over it and a huge arse rock in the windscreen. It was done by mistake. They thought I was someone else who owned the same car. I still remember dropping to my knees when I saw it. 35 yrs on and I still miss my girl. Anyways “it is what it is” . I love what you’re doing to the cortina, guys. Bee good to see the finished product.
It is what it is. Love the thumbnail picture!
Fellas, you can always get a 1 inch hole saw, and bung a few holes in that angle iron to cut some mass out without affecting the strength. As Colin Chapman from Lotus once said, "adding lightness".
Nathan screw the 25mm hole saw on the inside of the 50mm and use that as the pilot drill
Pedal bracket is overkill but it is what it is. You know it’s not going anywhere in a hurry
How you guys get ANYTHING done is amazing, but it's all about getting together with Mates and getting it done!
Is what it is - Great work on both brackets, you guy's killed it. Cheers RUSTY.
An entire day to mount a pedal…. It is what it is!
Really enjoyed the show. “It is what it is”.
Is what it is. The answer for all the car questions ever asked.
Two brackets in one video, took me back to Bad Obsession's Project Binky !
loving this build and the laughs the guys have makes it even better!
It is what it is....that pedal mount in solid and the hole in mint 😂
About time you got back into the weekly video routine, "but it is what it is".
Love it lads, one solid bracket.
It is what it is.
Who needs CAD when you got paper and a pen. It is what it is... but damn it works
Well well well it is what it is but above an beyond keep up the laughs
another way to do the whole saw when the original hole is bigger than the hole needed is use a piece of wood and tech screw it (with the screws inside the piece you are drilling ... now you can choose your centre with the wood and drill and as you cut it will be removing the little hole the tech screws went through - It is what it is
"It is what it is"
Watching your vids in my car on my lunch break to get some peace and quiet. But it is what it is
Taking inspiration from Turbo Yoda a Subaru electric accelerator pedal mounts to the firewall. But that is a solid bracket 👌
It is / what it is 🤷♂️
Will make a good t-shirt lads.
It is what it is. Should make a cover to go over the nexus and then cover it to make it look like the glove compartment is full of lipton and tetley boxes of tea.
Just bought a Kingcrome nutsert kit, nutserts are a game changer.
It is what it is fellas. Keep up the awesome work with your builds!
‘It is what it is’ most honest saying 😂
And it's a cop out too.
well done guys the Cortina is coming along, I think its important these car are our motoring his tory so Young guys learn about them
It is, what it is
Nice work guys and it is what it is
It is what it is boys
Top job men. It is what it is.
It is was it is 👍🏻
No tea and crumpets? Damn, it is what it is
Looking good enjoying this car.
It is what it is 🎉
G'day guys,
An awesome video today. Some might say,
IT IS WHAT IT IS.
Your almost through your list , that shows the importance of being organised.
So, thanks for sharing ✌️ Peace from Melbourne/Pakenham.
It is what it is ,doing a great job boy can't wait for next episode 😊
Great job mounting the pedal mate. Just one thing. You might want to paint the bracket before your welds and well the rest of the exposed metal rust.
Good work
It is what it is
Install looks really neat fellas! It is what it is 😊
Well boys "it is what it is" 😂
Keen to see it finished boys
A 25mm hole saw will screw inside of the bigger hole saw as a Gide
It is what it is
It is what it is looking good boys😊
Well done Lads .
It is what it is
Loving the content guys
If i had a budget i would definitely get you guys to build me something
It is what it is...
If you want an even better longer marker, look at the Empire long tip marker from bunnings
Get some CRC Trefolex CDT cutting oil spray for your hole saw it will cut way better and last way longer.
Keen to see the wiring on the nexus r3 but it is what it is
Just a Piece of Steel, it is what it is , Great work guys
It is what it is!😂😂😂
It is what it is gents well done on mounting the things
it is what it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is what it is.
Ahhhhhhhh……. It is what it is!
Hey guys very nice work, any videos of how u have wired the pedal and all of that?
Hope you boys beefed up the rear suspension, especially the trailing arms as they can rip out especially with some higher horsepower.
It is what it is 😊
awesome job guys
I've found when drilling with hole saws its better to run the drill in the slow speed.
Hole in the firewall... you can have 2 hole saws in the same bit. 25mm hole exists, put a 25mm holesaw in the 2 inch holesaw and it will centre.
It is what it is...
It is what it is 😂😂
You forgot to put the lightening speed holes in the pedal bracket but I guess it is what it is...
Tea and crumpets 😂
Nathan wearing Pants now "It is What it is 😅
As I have mentioned before, the TE Cortina is my favourite model of car 💪 this one is going to be tough as!!
When you shit your pants in it on the first hit you will just have to accept, that it is what it is 😁
It is what it is lol 😂
I'd like to see 2 front cuts (fwd) welded together, twin steered. What could go wrong?
You could have tapped a thread for the haltech couldn't you??
You can generate a lot less heat and make your drill bits and holesaws last longer if you dont drill at full throttle.... But it is what it is I guess.
is what it is
It is what it is. Will you still need relays with the R3 ecu? They have a built in pdm. You can also add a PD16 if you need anymore outputs 👍
It can, but it has a limited amount of relays it can replace, and being that we will be running a series of fuel pumps, we may exceed what the R3 can handle
It issss what it issss, classy stuff fellas. What are the relays in the glove box for, i thought the point of the nexus was that it's also a power distribution module that removed the need for relays and such? Or am i getting my haltech products mixed up
It can, but it has a limited number of in built relays and we made need extra for the amount of pumps we are running
@@HackshopGarage ahh rogee, makes sense. Cheers for the explanation
It is what it is. Howz the pedal mounted at the top near the dash?
It’s mounted to a reinforcement for the lower part of the dash besides the steering column
@@HackshopGarage nice one.
It is what it is made me laugh
What’s the long pen called ? Aka so I can buy
I’ll find the name of it when I’m in the shed next, but it’s just from total tools
Get yourselves some hydraulic chassis punches
It is whar it is .
In 100 years someone will be walking around a paddock somewhere in country Victoria and stub their toe on a piece of angle iron near a rusty wreck of a cortina. And they will say “it is what it is”.🤣
Hang on! Nathan didn't paint the pedal bracket!! It is what it is 🤷♂️
It's not straight forward, but "It is what it is".
It is what what it is and currently it is unpainted steel bracket🤣🤣🤣
Pants! WTF.....It is what it is I guess.
Breathing steam inside a shed during the day??it is what it is
I’d be worried in an accident your knee would hit that accelerator bracket.
Not bad…..but ‘it is what it is’….lol 😂
It ain't what it isn't
Over engineering it is what it is.
Aggzelleraider....
Orrrrrrr, you could just run a $20 cable and be done in an hour. 🤔
It is what it is.
It is what it is
It is what it is
It is what it is
It is what it is
It is what it is
