Don’t feel bad! You are 100% right, making the study guides is how you study, it’s how you regurgitate the info. I don’t think having someone’s else’s study guide is helpful at all. No shortcuts. Please don’t feel bad. We all super appreciate your videos!
I completely agree with you. My nursing cohort shares a nursing school drive where we upload our notes and share them, but I find myself barely looking at other people's notes, just because I know the way I make my notes and that helps me more
Diana, in the video prior, you mentioned that you discovered a "better" way to study (quicker?). Can you please share any changes you've made in your process? *update* You just addressed my question in your video...Thank you!!
Girl, don't feel bad for not sharing your study materials. You, worked hard on them and tailored them to your learning style. Studying is not a one size fits all and I know you are aware of that 😉. Unfortunately, there aren't any shortcuts to becoming a successful nursing student. You get what you give. I'm so happy you posted! I graduate in may and it's so surreal, I also interview for my first RN positions next Wednesday 🤩. I wish I would have blogged my journey, you will get to look back on this forever.
Best wishes in nursing school! I've been a RN for 6 years & am always learning. Currently in grad school to be a certified nurse-midwife. You never know where that nursing degree will take you!
I dont think you should feel weird for not sharing, I def agree! Study tips are great to share but study guides are very personal because they are created from your understanding so using someone else's study guides isn't 100% effective. The tips you share are more than USEFUL !
YES!!!! You get what you put in. I love your videos. Thank you. I appreciate the general layout you give us so we can make our own. Keep up the amazing videos. Much love ❤️
I think you're right about making the study guides yourself. As annoying as it is to make them, it's the only way to get the most out of the study guide.
You’re awesome! I really enjoy your videos and you seem like a really nice, cool person. What highlighters do you use? I’ve never seen the sort of muted and gray colors you use and I love them. I’m starting nursing school in the fall and I am so excited!
I totally respect your decision to not sell your notes. I'm actually very impressed and love all your videos. Also, try not to show your school's logo and make sure you go through your school's handbook. You don't want to get in trouble for violating any of their social media policies. Looking forward to more videos 😊😊
Omg this was my nursing student yesterday lol. She lived like an hour away, and had to be at the hospital like and hour before me. I do not miss those days haha.
I always go through the book when im studying to make sure i got everything on my study guide, or during my actual studying process. But i DO NOT read every chapter for any of my classes. I only ever skim!! If something is confusing, ill find it in the book and read that section to help clarify, but thats it
Hey Diana, I assume you are in ABSN at Loyola university Chicago. Im going there spring 2021. I have some questions about what do you think about the school. And how the skills labs and clinical rotations specially with COVID. How can I contact you?

Maria Bannikov totally agree!

Thank your for understanding 😩❤️❤️

Diana Aimee i passed!!!!!
When you study do you repeat out loud on in your head?
Can you make a video of a&p class in college and how did you pass it?
Did you find that you needed to go through your books or focus more on lectures for your previous classes like nutrition? Thanks for all your tips!

Do you think knowing the Latin root words helps with nursing school?
No not really. I never took a medical term class, so any root words or prefixes/suffixes I know come from learning it in a previous class.
