- The plaintiff hired the defendant to sell hair extensions. She claims the defendant rang up a transaction with a stolen credit card, which cost her thousands of dollars. She’s suing for the cost of the fraudulent transactions. The defendant argues a client used a stolen credit card, so it’s not her fault.

She's dirty. She's running a scam with her former coworkers at her former job.
I feel she stole the credit card information from customers at Verizon and that’s why she no longer works there.
If there even is a former coworker, I think she’s getting the credit card numbers from Verizon customers & using them to fraudulently purchase the hair and is either selling it or using it for herself. AND the disrespect of her smirk & gum chewing 🤦🏽♀️

I hope that she was charged criminally for credit card fraud. She's a wannabe scammer but not nearly intelligent enough to pull it off. Definitely a thief.
This is why I advise people to lock their credit and debit cards after every transaction and keep them locked until the next one. They should avoid using debit cards directly linked to their bank to prevent their account from being drained by fraud. Instead, it's safer to use credit cards or third-party debit cards like Cash App and Chime, which only allow transactions when there’s enough money in the account. Credit cards are better however because that money is not gone from your account when fraud happens. You won’t be responsible for paying those charges until the investigation is closed.

Worst thief ever! To this day she doesn't realize that by her saying she eventually paid for that purchase with cash, was her admittance of using the stolen card. She thought she was smart enough to pull off the crime, and smart enough to fool the judge. The only way she could have screwed this up any more was to be actually wearing the hair she bought with the stolen credit card. I hope she's good at hair, because her career as a criminal will not be a fruitful one.
She should be in jail.

Well, the judge did say there were other credit card numbers as well. For all we know, maybe one of the other victims of that credit card theft followed up with the police and got the defendant prosecuted.

This is one of those cases, where you see the title, and think, "You can't hold an employee responsible for a stolen credit card being used, unless you can prove the employee was part of the theft," then the defendant said, "Hold my stolen hair extensions!!"

Having been a victim of a stolen credit card, the employee knew exactly what she was doing and what was going on. Probably a member of a gang that does this and resells the items. She needs to be in JAIL!
