I love your counting jar activities and your vlogs! Can you do a classroom tour? Maybe expound on different parts of your classroom. For example on the first day of the vlog talk about your circle area, the second day of your vlog talk about your desk, etc.
Great video. I hope you and your car get better! I really have to work at putting papers away or in their proper place throughout the day too, but my second graders do a pretty good job at keeping everything else tidy. We are doing Leader in Me so each child has a leadership role that takes care of different things/areas of the classroom. I'm really proud of the way they've handled it. I really like your dry erase math folders. I might try to do something like that as a station or for tier two. Looking forward to more videos! 😊
I stumbled upon your videos today and have been watching them all! I am studying elementary education in college right now and your videos make me even more excited to have my own classroom and kids someday soon! :)
I just stumbled upon your channel and I love it! I'm in school to become an elementary teacher and your videos are getting me so pumped to become a teacher!
😀 ya know watching your vlog gets me excited about going back into the classroom (I've been out of the game since 2013 because since then my hubby is in the army and we've moved twice AND I had my 3rd baby😯). So I'm Very nervous to start working again BUT I love how you share your business (you're awesome btw) and I now I've got a bunch of my ideas....I can't wait (sorta), cuz daycare worries me😖. [My auto-correct is totally messing up what I type so sorry if things don't make sense.]
+Joyce Erika Flores You will do great and don't worry so much about your babies. Just like you will love on your students they will love on your babies. Plus. my younger one LOVES to play with kids his own age and he enjoys being out and doing things. I think it helps us tolerate each other more. My younger one is a handful.
I bought the Rise and Shine binder from TPT but it didn't have all the pages you have ... Did you make your own? Where can I find or purchase ? Thank you !
+lisa Loucee I made my own. I wanted things that would work with my class and I knew that I would be transitioning their binder throughout the year. Where in the beginning it's very simple and as they progress I can add more to it.
I've just subscribed today! Your vlogs are amazing!!!! I'm so excited to use some of your ideas here in Australia. Could you upload a vlog about your close read and how you form your questions? Or send me in the write direction I love the post it note idea, currently I use my daily work pad.
+Kiara Jones I have this video coming soon. Thank you for watching. If you want to look more on your own check out the common core and close reading standards for the United States. www.ascd.org/publications/educational-leadership/dec12/vol70/num04/Closing-in-on-Close-Reading.aspx
I added them to my Amazon store. This is most of the gear that I use daily. astore.amazon.com/thelettclas-20?_encoding=UTF8&node=10 The purchase is directly from Amazon, but I get a small fee and the price is normal. It really helps the page and buying new SD cards. Hope you like it!
+Joyce Erika Flores Oh goodness, yes! Well and maybe that I am not really good at putting things away.... I say it's that I'm in the moment but there has to be a better way! I was actually better about it this week because I started something new and so far I have been a rock star!

Where did you find the clip art for your cards at the end? (Sorry for all the comments btw.)
+Joyce Erika Flores I use various people from TPT. I like melonheadz, educlips, and whimsy teacher. Their cliparts are amazing!

Hi there! I know this has probably been asked already, but I couldn't find it when I searched your site. What camera do you use for vlogging?
