    I eat a mostly plant based diet, but when I do eat meat, I eat it very fresh, grass fed, and local if possible. I can attest that it really helps. My skin has been the most difficult symptom for me as well. Anyway, I love, love this! I too, have discovered the massive importance of knowing how to consciously regulate my ANS, and it's been a game changer! I'm now working on eating a low histamine diet, and refuse to believe I can't heal. Thanks for sharing your experience.

    Nervous system dysregulation is fight, flight or freeze response and the connection to the body being hyperstimulated makes sense.
    We need our bodies to stay in the parasympathetic state the majority of the day every day. Feeling SAFE emotionally, mentally/psychologically, spiritually, physically and financially is so IMP to stay non reactive ~

    If you have any lingering issues you might want to play around with powder or spray Zeolite. I know you didn't go down the mold rabbit hole and I don't know that there's any reason to. There tends to just be some stuff that chronically ill people have in their system that's accumulated over time. Micronized Zeolite powder and spray have been game changing for me. They have been life saving truly.
    If you're interested definitely research at length. If you feel a strong response to binders it usually means there's stuff in your system that needs to come out, and often you need more of the binder to push it along. I'm sure you know a bit about this but just wanted to make sure you haven't cruised past zeolite. It's relatively gentle and so helpful. Also going to try fulvic acid soon.

      Yes! I found zeolite was gentle enough that it helped me immensely. Caused me to get basically like flu like symptoms for like a month but it was very manageable and not a big deal after the first week. And it felt like a good sick if that makes sense. The reason I tried it recently was because I asked Mom what that thing was that I took as a kid that literally permanently fixed my cold sores which used to be extremely frequent and painful. I now only get one every like, idk couple years when I'm super stressed, and it lasts for like a few days and isn't even painful. Like the improvement was literally permanent 18 odd years later. And she was like oh yeah NCD. So I looked it up and NCD is just one of the brands of zeolite you can get. I'm always so skeptical of stuff like this but this was straight up like. Yeah. Every time I've done it it's done something positive. It won't totally heal you but it's super helpful. I did need to dial back to like 3 drops once a day. When I was going doing that like 3 and 4 times a day was when stuff went crazy. But again it wasn't bad and even felt like nice to be sick. Almost like I was supposed to be sick. You know like when you're not sure you have to sneeze but you kinda feel like you do and you need something to push it through? It was like that.

    I agree, nervous system regulation and vagus nerve stimulation is hugelyyy important. Mast cells and the vagus nerve are connected and communicate with each other, which is the reason behind that. I have Long-C and the one thing that has helped me the most has been deep-breathing vagus nerve stimulating exercises. I'm far from better but without that I'd be far worse.
    Did you ever experiment with very slowly and gradually increasing fermented foods like kefir etc.? I know they're high histamine but so important for the gut, I'm thinking of trying to increase my tolerance.

    My overactive bladder symptoms (google says it’s a symptom of histamine intolerance) went away after improving my circadian rhythms. This means getting up & going outside during sunrise & sunset, exposing my eyes to as much natural light as possible throughout the day, and blocking blue light after sunset with amber and red colored blue blocking glasses. I also started grounding or earthing at the same time, (as much as possible during Winter) and I try to eat meals based around the circadian clock.

      How do you do the energy work?

    • @cassandragreer6614
      @cassandragreer6614 4 місяці тому

      @@djdanzy essentially, energy work is about changing your mind including letting go of the emotional charge you may have given any particular event, thought, feeling, substance. EDS can really mess up your nervous system (including the brain) because it also has to be held in place by connective tissue. A nerve is programmed to think it is one place but if the connective tissue is not actually holding it where it thinks it is, it can get disoriented and perceive the world incorrectly and find it threatening and traumatic. These traumas can get stored in the nervous system. If they are stored in the Vagus Nerve, this can affect other systems and organs in the body and cause them to not function as expected. Energy work can train the nervous system to perceive things more realistically despite the connective tissue issues - to compensate. Trauma energy can be safely released so that the chemical and electrical pathways made by the nerves can cleared and allow proper communication between body parts. I use several techniques - the Emotion Code, Reiki and the Soul Code Method.

    for me, DNRS program made things worse and i didnt know why at the time. When i let it go and started to connect more with my body especially through somatic awareness, i realized that my brain is more kinesthetic than other people's and it doesnt allow me to implement a new positive vision in my mind without understanding it first at a visceral and sensory level. Through this portal i discovered a new way of regulating my NS through sensory movement, which is something that i developed on my own. Maybe this happened also because i am autistic so for anyone who wants to try DNRS but they have these traits, i would suggest try it with much care because it can fire back symptoms.

    I dtarted taking DAO daily. The first time i took it my chronic stomach ache and mid back pain was gone!! I knew that Histamine is a serious problem for me. Also dtarted Orgono silica gave me strength and energy. Pepcid 10 mg or 5 mg relieved my painful feet plus i have more energy. Pepcid is an antihistamine plus an antiinflammatory.

    Its common in the carnivore community because aged meat has biogenic amines. Not just histamine. Tyramine, phenylethlamine and all the others are what people react to. Histamine is generally not correct and doesnt include every amine people are reacting to. Citrus fruits, meat older than several days from slaughter, aged cheese (cream cheese okay), tomatoes, mango and so on. Most beef is hung for a couple of weeks. Most supermarket meats especially anything vacuum packed is quite old and full of amines. Get it fresh from a butcher. Avoid soy sauce, vegemite and anything else. Pork itself is naturallt high and must be avoided. As well as all cured meats. Of course until you heal and figure it all out. Chocoate and even white chocolate due to the cocoa butter and all nuts and seeds too.
