Enjoyed this, I owned a new 2020 I30N. Did 600 miles in 3 days and tracked it where I got 8.8 mpg lol. It’s a great drivers car and fun to hustle along, but after being destroyed by a GR Yaris on track I sold it and bought a GR and I’ve never looked back.
They're both very good cars, although saying you got destroyed by a GR Yaris makes me question your driving ability, they're 2/3s+ slower than the i30n on any UK track, another 10s on larger laps in Europe.
@@MaackyD I found out later he had a tuning box, we were both on NS2R’s/sunny day and I’d say I was driving at 85%. The gaps he was putting on me between bends was incredible. I’ve got the video if you think I’m taking 💩
why do people feel the need to attach plastic maxton shite to an already aggressive looking car especially when it scrapes the ground on braking i just dont see the point, ffs £700 set of wheels then fits economy tyres to them 🤦♂
@@bestcrazyboy8487 I've got to work on these shitboxes everyday they're a nightmare to put up on a jack or a ramp just pointless they don't add any performance value to the car like a proper aero kit would, the wheels make sense for less unsprung weight but with economy tyre your losing the performance advantage its an i30 itll always be one just because you attach plastic shite doesnt make it any better.
@@bestcrazyboy8487 I've actually got a cupra 280 and it's pretty much perfect for the back roads upgraded calipers off the cupra r, discs and pads fixes the chocolate brakes, Michelin pilot sport 4s all-round really grippy, eibach dampers with standard springs as the standard ride high is find just needs stiffend up car cost 14k spent just over a grand on mods that actually improve the performance, apart from that totally standard goes well enough without remapping

Good video/review. I think their price is what lets them down. Cupra 290s are the same price and almost twice the car
I think the price is reasonable. It’s alternative to your VAG cars, this is more involving than any of those other cars.
Twice the car but with boring handling, numb steering, horrible sounding engine, and chocolate brakes alright pal. Not to mention common as muck 😂
Very nice car, highest quality video yet 🤝🏽
Definitely!
Really good video keep it up bro 👊 ❤️
Appreciate it! Plenty more to come😎
Beautifully specced
Main question is does it beat the type r though?
i have 1 and its great
I can see why. A brilliant car🙏
I also have one 😀
