after some testing of my own, I can report that windows do not come back on corridors after returning to the game after a save. but they do on the habitat modules.
if you look up from the window of your vehicle module you will see 2 high cliffs on the top of big asteroid. you can mine celestianite on those cliffs.
Great episdode! If I remember correctly from your demo playthrough, there's also some Celestite at the "Captain SoAndSo" map marker where you use the keycard.
Quartz blends in to the background for mew too. I have good eyes. It does respawn in predictable places though. You can pin a recipe to the HUD with right click for easy reference.
Don't build the skiff, its a waste. Put the powercell charger by the airlock and park your new minivan (game calls it "Sumon") near the same airlock; both will save you time. The minivan has two other gray "nodes" slightly above the powercell. On one side is 3 slots for upgrades and the other side is cargo. The mineral you want tends to be in mines in the giant asteroids.
consider moving your ship near the front airlock for ready access. also check ship for storage. vehicle module station might have cargo modules. did you build the cutting laser to carve your way into those big containers and locked doors??
Just ran across this, and looking at this vid, the first thing that comes to mind is 'Subnautica in Spaaaace'. :-) Sadly, the Prologue isn't available yet, much less the main game. Edit: On Steam, at least. It says 'Coming Soon'. Not sure where else to check for it.
I think the recycler had the doughnut slightly greyed out, its kind hard to see against the blue background. I think it'll break down anything you craft, so if you wanted to get the ores out of extra data transformers. Or as an undo, if accidentally craft the wrong thing. Might become more useful as you climb the tech tree and certain tech becomes obsolete.

Because of the vehicle, you can make small mining stations. One corridor, one outside battery, two solar panels, one mining extractor. 1) you can station them all over the place, to mine specific ores 2) it may be a "bug", but it adds to your total power supply. If so, 3) Hint: find an open region, build several corridors (2 corridors per solar panels, for spacing), and add outside batteries on top and bottom, along the corridors. Just like Subnautica, your vehicle has a : vehicle modular slots and a storage locker on either side.
power is shared between all bases. so you can build 1 section of corridor somewhere in silver asteroids field, put laser miner on it and it will mine silver and nickel) no need in solar panels and batteries. the same with teleport stations - 1 room, one entrance and one teleport is enough, no solar panels and batteries needed. of cause you need to build enough power on your main base, with batteries on upper and bottom sides of corridors)
It's still pretty early. It will be interesting to see what they add. I'm hoping they take some time and add A LOT of content. They already have a foundation in place for a great game. 🤞
I hope the dev optimizes the game more. I'm trying to play the playtest but this game is not at all optimized for 10-series GPUs. I get that they're older, but they're just as capable, and they are above the minimum specs, so I don't see why the game can't run on them.
Me too. A lot of the time, developers hold off on optimizing until just before the release. Hopefully, they can get to it soon. I usually won't play a game (or put it on the channel) if it's overworking my GPU.

I have noticed several times that you seem to forget 1-2-3 things. 7:54 There are 2 "chips in the chest/closet, but you start making 1 more after 10:50, but you even go to the other location to collect the material! It just wants to be a constructive criticism, you could pay a little more attention to the details!
I play very casual and stress free. That playstyle may not be to your liking but it's how I get the most enjoyment from games. My main goal is to have fun. I've been having a ton of fun with Astrometica.
So far, not been able to really enjoy this series. Missing to much. Feels like your skipping showing episodes. Like watching a tv series. See ep1,2,6,8. Feels like, where the H is the missing episodes. Cannot enjoy, no use watching this series.

If you right click on a building in your builder, you can pin them so you have the recipe makes it easier to gather mats.

yes, it has storage.. Left side box beside cockpit..It can be expanded with upgrade module as well.
