Hi Glider, as with other channels, your playlist is messed up, it's a strange youtube setting that is being overlooked by many.

I use my companion as a mule. You can store upto 30 kilo and yet the companion remains at 2 kilo carry weight. When you get to a safe house, go outside and deploy your companion and transfer the stuff back to your inventory and then go back into the safe house to sort out your inventory. Check your skill points and increase your carry capacity skill. Why don't you use fast travel between safe houses? It would be a shame if you did not get this game as you haven't even scratched the surface. So much more to be enjoyed. I have well over 3700hrs with this game and still going strong :)

Fast travel back to Dyvik then go to the pier. Climb up a ladder to the roof of a shed. It is worth your while to find what is up there. Hope you keep going with this series :)

I love the quality of life features in Shapez and even more so in Shapez 2. It feels like the entire game is a case study in how to make a factory games feel easier and more fluid to play.

I don't think the big water plants which require bread are worthwhile, since it reduces the amount of bread you can supply to level 2 houses, which is what you need to progress in the level. Charcoal from either coal quarries or wood burning is more flexible since desalination gives you water anywhere on the coast. This is better when you can have a lot of charcoal since you need it for bread and iron tools, which is easy to do on this level with a lot of forest space and coal. Also, for speed of moving resources, it is better to have most of your roads the maximum length. Finally, you don't want warehouses where a resource is produced, as the warehouse demand competes with the demand for the buildings that require the resource slowing supply. Instead have the warehouses near the use point of the resource, especially near to houses. Have fun with the logistics. I find I have to do a lot of planning in advance on later levels, based on where resources are produced to try to avoid long back and forth transport of resources before they can be used. The buildings that require more than one resource are best placed near a supply of two resources so the network can spend most of its time distributing the product rather than the sources.

You can hot key different buildings tasks so you don't have to search for it usually when a mining node gets below 100 it's better to leave and find a different node at least till you get copters than you can just drop off remote miners
