      Yup, we do this on Mare Island, anywhere with structure, grassy or tulle lined banks in the Napa River. Suisun & montezuma slough are decent to.

      By another name you may have heard of them. Sold as bay shrimp. You find them often in shrimp Louis salads throughout the Bay Area

      scorpiontube712 where in San Mateo do you go? Will try that first with the kids. They'll get a kick out of seeing live shrimp!

      @scorpiontube712  7 років тому +1

      Sorry Ryan we used to go to The pier next to the San Mateo bridge which they close. For best luck try Cayote pnt during high tide but i really recommend you to try Dumbarton pier thats where all fishermans go that need Shrimps for bait Its more safe for kids. Let me know what i can help you with.

    Use 1½inc PVC pipe in your milk camber as a nest. cut it in 15cm long, set and put it as many as you can, It should work in 3 days.

    • @scorpiontube712
      @scorpiontube712  7 років тому +3

      Hunter Cheng haha those are different. They called that Cherry Shrimps and that's for pet. The grass shrimps don't last long when you keep it for pet but good for bait catching perch,striped bass and specially for sturgeons

    • @scorpiontube712
      @scorpiontube712  7 років тому +3

      Hunter Cheng You don't want to spend $2 each for a small shrimps and use it for bait hehehe
