That first spot you was at dip netting we use to catch some nice trout right there. The next time you go fishing in the violet canal you haft to try fishing starting at the violet bridge to where they have that sunken bardge that's on the right hand side of the violet canal this is the time of the year we caught trout and redfish there and plenty of bass.
Where is the tabasco? 😂 New Orleans native transplant in Florida now. We catch nice shrimp in the St. Johns Rive with a cast net and a couple cans of dog food. 👍 enjoyed the video young man. Looking forward to your next. Have a great week. 👍🇺🇸🙏

you right about the shrimp we have a duck lease here in the boston area north of the vermilion bay we went fish there last weekend and the shrimp where dropping in to the boat
They did the dip net thing in the bonne carre spillway when the river water comes through the pins. The nets are huge dip nets. They catch pogies and river shrimp. At least we used to when I was there growing up. I think the local authorities may have ruined it by running people out.

Use a shrimp net with the fabric at the bottom to keep it open until it hits the bottom…. You will catch more.
