@@PilotRyanMedia I have to transport this plane with wings removed. Those long wing bolts are a pain to screw in but at least there is no problem getting them start.
Bro, I bought this plane because I watched your flight video. I saw how much fun you were having with it and said its definitely going in my hangar. I love this plane bro. Absolutely top notch.
Lesson learned. Put the prop together immediately or else u might mis place the nuts and bolts. I cannot fine the nuts so off to Lowes. This plane is heavy so should do well in the wind. This was one of the first planes with long wing bolts where the holes lined up.
Love this bird! Flies amazing. Just needs the larger prop mod and I wish FMS didn't go with such a sensitive pressure foam (dents so easy!) but scale appeal and flight characteristics are tops!
So contrary to popular belief the stripes on Major Dunham's last P-47 and the one on which FMS based their livery were late theatre bands but not specifically invasion stripes. Technically the FMS livery is a mash-up of his 3rd and 4th P-47's and closest to the one in which he scored the most victories before the group converted to the P-51. The first P-47 he flew was actually all Olive Drab with a white empennage and as on all his birds featured the famous 'Bonnie' on the cowl.
At the risk of sounding stupid, does that prop dome go on just hand tight? I've got the same style dome on my FMS Yellow T-28 and could find nothing in the manual that talked about the size nut in the front and if that even was intended for use to tighten the dome. Similar domes used on many of my other models has a hole drilled through so I opted for drilling a hole through the dome to allow for a solid tightening. ???
Hey Richard. I did paint it. Here is the video of it. There are some shots of the process in the intro. Nothing much of a how to video but I was glad to document in this way. Thanks for the question ua-cam.com/video/2u30NKkLA6k/v-deo.html
@@PilotRyanMedia Ryan, Nice job on the Paint job! It came out really nice. I bought this plane and haven't even took it out of the box yet, because I'm working on my E-Flight Extra 300 first. What Specktrum G2's 6S battery's would you recommend I buy for it, and do I need to get a adaptor for the ESC for the G2's? Thank you in advance!
FMS just really has their act together. Everything I've got from them has been easy to assemble and top notch quality
Absolutely

That was nice . Really like the placement of the wing screws inside the fuse .
Speed build at the field gotta love it!
Man, this and their P-40 are definitely their best warbirds available. Now if only they would make me a bigger P-39 or F8 bearcat

The gear speed is great. So many nice details on FMS.
This is a grate plane custom paint on , if your into that and off you go!
Beautiful thunderbolt. Ordinance is a good thing. 😉👍✌️
Nice!!! Anticipating the new retooled 1700mm FMS Corsair, hoping to be out soon
can't wait to see the new paint job!
Great job guys, can’t wait for tmrw night. 👊🏼

Wow that's awesome brother
Fantastic, guys !!
Amazon has an excellent deal for air brush, includes 5 units of paint 3 airbrushes and compressor. Nice. you'll have to do a show on your repaint.

just wonderful
I see a beautiful big scale warbird and I get goosebumps, then I see a Spektrum parkflyer Rx and my skin goes cold for you....nooo man no
Did you have to programme the spektrum reciever or did you just fly it stock settings ?
Ryan, I need a XT60 to EC5 adap. , where can I get one ??
Nice build but I would have worried about dropping a screw in the grass.

Just hand tight the metal insert is the nut
Ryan, did you ever repaint this plane? I looked at all your videos and I didn't see anything else on this plane.

It’s a shame they don’t make this model anymore.
They do it’s just sold out www.fmshobby.com/?ref=CVSMexb19dUYr
Can you tell me how much this Plane Weighs? Thank you in advance!
The link in the description will take you to the product page where that info can be found.
@@PilotRyanMedia Mine with a 6S 5000 is over 8#. Heavy yet can be flown quite slow in level flight.
What would be a great second airplane , I am currently flying the apprentice
What are you thinking about for next planes? What do you want to be flying in the future? That will help me answer better
@@PilotRyanMedia
I was thinking about a warbird
T28 Trojan, was recommended to me as a second plane, I’m glad that I listened. I picked up an old Parkzone model at a swap meet, good plane.
where can i buy it?
Right here through Horizon Hobby bit.ly/PilotRyanP47
Can u put the video for wood board...im doing it scratch
Mark Shirey ?
On ur first video in the shop u said something about the wood board on the p-40
I THINK you got the machine guns reversed. You got left on right and right on left side. Long barrel to the out side.
morris mercier long barrel inboard is correct
No blue lock tite?
Never by plastics makes them brittle
@@PilotRyanMedia oh, I didn't know that. Thanks

Do we really need to see all the screws being screwed in?? Just a waste of time.

Thanks for the insight. I’ll quit
