  • We have to talk about this. A young woman posted a viral video claiming that her father abandoned her family to become a breakdancer. It was all fun and games until her father decided to respond. Geez this is a tough one who is wrong and who is right??? & most importantly WHERE IS THE MOM???

    The father is speaking like that in his video because that’s Midwest anger in his voice. He angry but don’t want to show it.

      As long as he's a good dad, that's enough tbh. Sounds like both him and her were terrible to each other.

    I'm not going to say Maddie, the daughter is racist but some of this is from his second wife being another race. As a female if my husband took up with another woman, who she is would be a direct reflection of me. Maybe I shouldn't put that out there because I'm not seeing this aspect covered? But it's a factor.
    You have GOT to watch his follow up videos! I just found you guys from the Blazing Saddles reaction and now this video. He's made 2 or 3 more videos and he has an interesting story. You get his jail time and 2nd marriage details.
    Also, Maddie had another short video go viral about how she went on a date with a guy who paid for everything and she 'felt the feminism leave her body'. I've seen that here on YT.

    Divorce still damages a child regardless of whether the father stays in that child's life, especially if that child has memories of living with both parents. Like that's never going to be the same to that child again their world is different.

    That first caller made me feel some things, cause BIG facts. My sperm donor (no way I'm calling him father y'all don't even want to BEGIN to know what he done did to ya girl) always used that excuse (back when he actually kept in touch with me/my mom. Don't get it twisted he was only keeping in touch cause he was still trying to hit. Mom's too smart for that, try again) when I was literally a WHOLE CHILD. "Well, she can come see me you know" and then again as a whole teen. Even called me just to tell me I can see him instead of it always being the other way around (first of all-- he didn't even see me soooooo idk where the always came from, but we move).
    But yeah, long story short my SD is trash and I love y'all's channel.
    Edit: My mom even BEGGED him to come see me. Was CRYING on the phone to him, BEGGING him to come pick me up and he still wouldn't. Didn't even wanna pay CS, had my mama working TWO jobs damn near three while he was passed out drunk and off coke naked in bed while I cry in my crib all alone. I feel for my mother because when she married him? He wasn't this man. She filed immediately when she realized how much of a danger he was to me. Even had to get a restraining order at one point cause he was stalking her/us after awhile. Like I said, you don't even wanna know and that wasn't even the half.
    Sad cause I'm running a successful business and he isn't gonna see a diimmmeeee. But my mama sure will. God's good, ain't he?

    I believe she has trauma, but I don’t think she understands the result. She doesn’t want to admit her dad was a mostly decent guy even if he wasn’t the most present. This just sounds like a bitter spouse, talking shit to her kids about their father. Then the girl grows up and doesn’t understand why she was such a resentment. Which is why she finds something that’s supposed to be traumatic, “funny.”

    LMFAO i love it when yall get into the social commentary bag. lemme get some koolaid to get into this. please more social commentary stuff. also, as a 40 year old black woman from an old bourgie chicago family, i keep my funny trauma off the internet. black families have long arms. it's not even worth the public clapback that would get real inappropriate for everyone real fast.
    edit: yall wrong for not streaming this. this would've been a great discussion! 😢

    I enjoy this discussion videos, I'd say the dads response seems STRATEGIC not necessarily tasteful. It was tone deaf to how his daughter actually felt about him and their relationship and full of obvious sarcasm. Also he says he's proud of his kids accomplishments but it sounds like he's taking credit for his kids accomplishments like they are successful in life because of him...and of course I could be wrong but this was my take away and things I inferred

    Guys, she said he lived down the street for a few months after the divorce, then moved to Florida with his new wife. Following that, they didnt hear from him for years until recently. You can even see that he doesn't know when her birthday is, which suggests they aren't close at all.
    Anyway, I don't think he's hurt at all. He sounds angry and sarcastic. He took very good passive-aggressive jabs at her to undercut her intentions. Dude is a master communicator and he made sure to promote himself. His behavior in that video tracks with her claims.
    Dad's is an opportunist, but good on Maddie for inheriting those marketing skills. Her mother clearly raised intelligent and successful children.

    • @rubybaby7320
      @rubybaby7320 25 днів тому +2

      Incorrect. The Florida house was a vacation home. He went out of his way to be in his kids life.

    As we all know there are three sides to every story, I’d be more inclined to believe more of her perspective. Mostly because the dad is clearly an opportunist. C’mon with that Bitcoin shirt and flag? Suggesting a movie from their story? I grew up with divorced parents, but I was fortunate they’re still friends and they never talked badly about each other to us. Being an adult, I know how hard that must’ve been lol But having the type of job I had for several years, I’ve seen separated couple just try to ruin each other. Always to the detriment of the children. Always.

    You gotta watch his last video.
    He tried to resolve this privately... He asked her to take the video down cause it was affecting his business and his reputation, she said no cause it went viral. That's why he posted his first video. She's a clout goblin.
    Also, among other things, he talks about how the mom moved the kids away so he would not see them... he moved closer to them after that cause he wanted to spend time with them but his daughters would choose to go out with their friends instead of spending time with him unlike his son who actually did spend time with him.
    It's sad. The mom has poisoned her kids against him, wrote a book, and he even went to jail.. After all the money he gave her, she ruined his first business cause she wanted more money... it's A LOT.

  • @lavinder11
    @lavinder11 Місяць тому +1

    But to your question, my mother is a deadbeat who also tried to say my dad and aunts poisoned me against her. Deadbeat parents love to say that, but for the most part, it ain't true.
    My dad fought me for custody and he got it in the 80s when women were the default parent.
    When a father wants his child, he will fight. I don't agree with the excuses about mom keeping kids away.

    • @chrisf2636
      @chrisf2636 21 день тому +1

      Yes there are dead beats, but if you watch his other follow up he’s definitely not a deadbeat (that’s financial take care of your kids), he probably was absent, even 2 weekends a month is absolutely considered absent to a child.
      Though that’s what the court allowed.
      Also note he literally gave her 97% of everything he had and was put in jail for not having another 100k that his ex went digging for as the divorce settled. Tried to ruin his business and is trying to do so again by calling his customers.
      He took them out dinner regularly(yes this is still absent but probably what the court ordered) she stays cordial, and never tells him until she’s got a job is completely self-reliant and then blasts him on social media…
      Single parenthood sucks. Also, it’s easy to poison a kid against the absent/non custodial parent.

  • @JustAndreaEdna
    @JustAndreaEdna Місяць тому +1

    There's nothing wrong with him protecting his reputation she started it online so. I don't see a problem with him responding the same way and maybe giving her a little surprise to wake up to. She wanted him to be attacked by strangers on her behalf. In my opinion she is still a child. To be fair you can live in the same house with someone and not have a relationship with them. She needs to forgive him for herself because she obviously wants a father. She put her perspective out to the world because she needs to work through this.
