The housekeepers cant kick them out carslile owns the island. Also for context female vampires cant get pregnant. Their lack of aging wont let their reproductive organs change or cycle for a baby. This is also why rosalie is so protective bc she can never have them herself
It is also very possible that vampiric body itself would straight "devour" any fetus that could have grown inside. Not to mention the whole thing with the Immortal children - even if a baby would survive, it wouldn't grow, due to venom likely changing it at the very early stages (as venom substitutes blood in vampiric bodies, so it would be directly pumped into the baby).
Technically in THIS book series vampires cannot get pregnant so you are correct, but I really wish Twilight fans would acknowledge that vampire lore has existed centuries before this series and that the author decided to do her own thing. In NORMAL vampire lore, they can get pregnant. Not as easily as humans but they very much can and it isn't this harrowing pregnancy torture story that the author wrote it to be. Just making that clear.

Twilight fans know that vampire stories existed long before 2005, it just doesn't matter to this particular world, so why do you care what they acknowledge about the real world? That's like saying, "I just wish Twilight fans would acknowledge that Bella Swan never lived in Forks Washington, a real place that has existed for hundreds of years." Yeah, she's not real. Of course she didn't live there. It doesn't matter in the context of this story.

Humans can't know about vampires, its against the law. It's why they can't tell Charlie. Edward didn't even directly tell bella, she kind of figured it out on her own.
Makes sense why he had her say what he was out loud so that he technically didn't tell her just confirmed her suspicions.

@@mjm3091 Jake didn’t actually know though until after he shifted for the first time and was finally brought into the loop. He only knew about the stories and the lore that was passed down through the generations. In the first book, he had some wild, but accurate guesses surrounding why they didn’t like the Cullens and why they weren’t allowed on their territory. Jake’s stories only added fuel and direction to Bella figuring out the vampire secret

Watching two men discuss what they like and don’t like in the wedding is actually EVERYTHING. Most men are like do whatever I don’t care as long as we get married. You all have no idea how much you all actually clocked the ridiculousness of Twilight's take on relationships.
I feel sorry for Seth man. He just came to get some wedding cake and all the wolves had to leave because of Jacob acting up!
So for greater context that they skipped over in the movies:
1. The island they went to on their honeymoon is actually Carlisle's gift to Esme. He bought the island and named it after her.
2. The CGI baby had everybody outraged lol. In the books Renesmee ages at a crazy accelerated rate. Within 2 weeks she already looked like a 6 month old baby. By the time she's 7 she would have reached complete physical maturity. I think they should've just swapped out babies and toddlers with the scenes they shot instead.
3. They start to wipe and dress Bella because her heartbeat is finally heard after Edward had the idea to not only inject Bella with his venom but to overload her system with it which is why he just began biting her wherever he could. They listen to it for a few days before Bella finally transforms and wakes up. She suffers in silence the entire time though because Carlisle gives her morphine throughout thinking it will help with the pain but it actually paralyzes her instead.
4. Jacob during the wedding hearing about the honeymoon was more upset at the fact that Edward could hurt Bella physically rather than even being concerned with her being turned or still speaking from a standpoint of being in love with her.
They mentioned it's Isle Esme, it felt obvious it was a present on Carlisles private island not that he was just paying humans for them to stay there.

Remember that Edward believes and sees himself as a soulless monster, that's why he never wanted to turn Bella... He was concerned not just for her humanity but also her soul.
Also, no one knew a pregnancy was possible. Not even Jacob. The concern was that she was too fragile, that he would break her and kill her unintentionally. When she got pregnant all they had to go by was legends but legends are not reliable historical accounts.
And yes the imprinting is weird but it is not always a romantic thing. The one who imprints becomes whatever the person they imprint on needs, even if that is just a friend, a sibling, a protector. Jacob explained it in one of the previous movies.
Yeah and the legends that Edward looked up (in Google Images. I still laugh about that 😆) are about immortal children... and that's a WHOLE other thing.
On top of that, any examples found for human women becoming pregnant by a vampire would not be because they were in love and married. The women probably had never seen the vampire before and the vampires wouldn't have her wellbeing in mind... Yikes! 😬 Even surviving the attack, who does the woman go to for help? If she has access to medical care at all (millions of pregnant people in the world don't), it's likely she wouldn't go to a doctor because of the speed of the pregnancy. So yeah, it's like a one in a million chance she would survive to bring the baby to term and zero that she would live to tell anyone what happened (and she would likely be hunted for telling people about vampires by the Volturi anyway). Yeah, so the chances are in the minuses for facts being passed through history about vamp pregnancy.
Even with all of Edward's/the Cullen family's immense resources, and Carlisle's access to medical supplies and wealth of knowledge, they had no clue any of this would happen because no one knows about it. With everything they had access to and how prepared they were, Bella still died.
Imprinting is grooming. SM can try to explain it like it isn’t but the whole point of imprinting is to find the perfect mate and create the strongest wolves.
Edward knows he has Bella for forever. Plus, he can hear everything Jacob is thinking, and was only pretending to give them privacy. 🤣

The woman at Charlie's house was Sue Clearwater who is Seth and Leah's mother. Their father died in New Moon, he was the man Victoria held up in the air when out looking for the "bears" Bella said she saw. He had a heart attack and died in that movie and at the beginning of this one, he and Jacob's father were slick competing for Sue's attention. Charlie won.

And the imprint scene, Jacob didn’t choose to focus on a specific age. That was meant to show the act of imprinting taking his choice away as he is now bound to her and only her and he whatever she needs is what he will be and the love between them won’t be until she’s an adult.
The whole reason behind imprinting is the matching of the werewolf with the person best suited for a lifelong mate to carry on the gene of the magical bloodline.

Leah wasn’t interested in Jacob. She was Sam’s girlfriend before Sam imprinted on his current girlfriend, who I believe is her cousin. In wolf form the pack can hear each others thoughts so her pain makes the others uncomfortable and she’s kinda ostracized if I remember correctly so being in Jacob’s mini pack would be an escape from that and hearing Sam’s happy thoughts about his girlfriend. She’s also the only female to turn wolf and so in addition to feeling like an outsider she worries she’s a genetic dud because the theory is imprinting is a way to pass on the strongest genes and instead of being imprinted on she turned wolf. Leah really has a rough hand dealt to her.

It wasn’t necessarily unrequited. It wasn’t as strong as how she feels with Edward, but she definitely had feelings for him the author made that clear.

So in the books the scene when Edward talks to Jacob to get him to talk her out of having the baby, in the book that isn’t exactly what he asks him to do. He basically says he would do anything to save her even if it means giving her a litter of puppies. basically telling Jacob that he could impregnate her if babies is what she truly wants, just as long as she gets rid of this baby. It’s one of the handful of ick in the series. The biggest controversy of the series was Jacob imprinting on Bella’s new born. The book goes a little more into that. He says he will be whatever she needs at different points in her life. A brother, friend, protector. When she is older he will then be her partner/ husband.. whatever you would call the union.
Jacob had no idea that Bella could get pregnant, Jacob actually said at the wedding “you will kill her” he was worried Edward would kill her by losing control.
At the honeymoon house when the housekeeper was being rude, Edward said her tribe had urban legends of demon men luring women to their death. But they had no idea of getting a human pregnant. They didn’t even think that was possible and Carlisle said “the placenta was made of vampire skin which is why it looks like diamonds- it’s as strong like granite and the needle won’t go through it. Rosalie cut Bella’s skin but vampire or wolf teeth is the only thing that can break through the placenta/vampire skin. Which is why vampires can only be killed by other vampires or Werewolves
He wasn’t eating on the womb. He was biting her, trying to save her by giving her his venom, hoping it would work.
Bella can actually cook really well. She literally took care of her mother her whole life. Then she went to Forks and was taking care of Charlie. Everytime theywerent at the diner, she was cooking 😂 Breakfast and dinner 🤦🏽♀️

The problem with Bella and Edward consummating the marriage was not a risk of pregnancy. It was Edward being able to control himself and hold back so he didn't kill Bella. This is why they didn't know conception was possible. A human wouldn't normally survive intimacy with a vampire.
Thats also why the honeymoon was so dragged out. Bella wants Edward, but hes afraid of hurting her. He feels so badly about the bruises from the first time that he keeps avoiding her.
