@@Umreeka They have approved muy emergency case but my dependents previous appointments are not showing on new portal and i realized because of which i keep getting RCE17 error code as I do not have submit button to schedule emergency appoinments..do you feel any way I can resolve the dependents side of appointment on my profile..i jave raised the concern but it is already 3rd now and my emergency appointmrnt window to get inview slot expires on 6th..this is teh second time i raised emergency request and again is approved but because of the system glitch i am at same spot as i was on 1st one..sorry i am writing you email type comments here but you were teh only one that had good guidannce on my previous issue..that resolved and this came in to take it's place
This is not legal advise but If you have appointment in your old portal then it is still valid even if you are receiving error on new portal.
If you created new request then you need to schedule new appointments.

@Umreeka On the US Visa portal while creating the profile, I missed adding the middle name and now its not editable on my end. I have not submitted the profile yet but still not able to edit. I call ed customer service and they said to submit the profile first before they can help. My question is after submitting the profile, will I be able to see the information correction page where I will be able to make the changes or the customer service will be able to do that on their end? Hi sir, I have a scenario here. I have created ds160 for myself and my wife for US travel. Then have paid visa fees and booked appointment. I got my daughter(6yrs) passport just now. I am thinking of creating ds160 for her now, create dependent profile using my mail ID and then logging in using my profile and then paying visa fees for her. Since she is minor her interview need not be scheduled. Please guide me if I am wrong in any way. My another concern is, if while paying visa fees, is it allowed only for my daughter. Thank you for the comment. I am not sure if there is disconnect between what the wait time links states and what actually you see when you go in to schedule the appointment through portal. Usually they are pretty accurate. I would say wait for couple of days and then try.
No response from support. Since migration to new portal writing them through mail and feedback messages. While checking status it shows under progress

I don’t think it would a problem. Explain it to them when you are at ofc. You should also confirm this by calling vfs on the contacts i have given in my other video

Thank you Neha. All the family members can go together in one interview. All you need to do is fill DS160 for separately for each one and then set them up as a dependent in visa profile under your profile, pay the fee for each applicant. Then when it ask for the fee receipt add other members fee receipt also under your profile and then that it. When you go to schedule appointment it will schedule for all of you together.

What ever is in your confirmation letter. Those are the dates of your appointment.

It is not clear. Email might be inadvertently deleted. It is not there. Two dates and place I remember but details of time and venue on both dates I have forgotten. Can I check on any site. Please give a specific reply and mention site on whose leftside top it is there. They are not providing specific reply. Please inform if it is ascertainable.
On the usvisascheduling site when you login to your profile appointment confirmation tab should be on left had side.
Alternatively you can call vfs to get the details.

Yes don’t touch your appointment if you already have it. It is still valid.

While creating a new profile , what to fill in "Given Name" and "surname". I donot have last name in passport so i entered the first name in "Surnames" and "FNU" in "Given Name" in DS 160. Do i need to fill as it is here?

Yea follow the same as per ds160.

I created ID in DS-160 form and filled first page of personal details and clicked on saved option. The site then logs out automatically. No you need to have correct DS160 number in appointment letter.

Make sure all your details are correct in profile. When did you pay your visa fee, is it more than a year now? If it is more than a year you paid your receipt and filled your DS160 then you had only Sep 30th to reschedule visa appointment.
Sir, I paid the fee for B1 today and rescheduled multiple times on the same day. However, it is now showing that I can only reschedule once. So, if I need to reschedule more times, should I cancel and then reschedule?
You are only allowed to reschedule 3-4 times. Don’t cancel it and try to reschedule after 72 hours. Let me know if that works.

Thanks for your comment. Yes fee pay karne ke baad pahle page par biometric appointment schedule karna hoga then next page par visa interview appointment schedule karna hoga. App dono appointment ek sath book kar sakte hain just remember to schedule your visa interview appointment at least a day after biometric.

It is alright if you are not able to remove. You can pay fee just for yourself and schedule the appointment.

How can we change the document delivery information ? I don’t see that option anywhere.
Did you start new application in the portal or you imported your old profile from old portal to new portal and trying to change document delivery?

I had exact same issue for my wife’s visa and unfortunately I could not find any way to change the document delivery. During appointment we asked at the VFS center to get it changed but they also said we will need to change it through portal. But for now already selected delivery via old portal cannot be changed.
As soon as date is selected, an occur occured message is coming. If I cancel the existing application and start new application, can i use the same fees paid previously?
Yes you would be able to use your existing receipt.

If you are doing this first time on portal then i would suggest to create new profile with new email id.

DS160 form is valid for 1 year so you can use same DS160 for scheduling appointments. I am going to make the video on fee payment very soon. Stay tuned to the channel.

No you only need 6 months valid passport to get a visa.
When i try to reschedule only i got OFC on 6th dec not consular, but appointment confirmation shows actual booked ofc 20th Nov and visa slots 27th Nov only. But in Appointment Manager 20,27th and 6th dec. Pl help 6th dec will automatically cancelled if i dont get consular date. Yes appear for ofc on 20th and for visa on 27th. Explain it to them if they ask. That should not be an as long as you have appointment confirmation showing 20th nov ofc and 27th nov visa appointment .

Try rescheduling your OFC appointment. You can’t go to interview if they have not taken tour biometric and photo at ofc.

I ran into same issue. Closing existing application is risky. I went into my dependent profile and reschedule the appointment same day as mine. You can try same.

@@Umreeka sir i paid fees in may-23 and i booked appointment in old system only problem in new system is it shows only Close applications, continue applications, manage applications, feedback and message
If you already have appointment confirmation then you are good.
If you want to reschedule then try with continue application and see what it does.
If that does not work then you may close the application and start new application to get new appointment. However I would advise if you can go to your current appointment because you never know what issue you may face if you start all over again.

You can select any location where appointment is available and once you have appointment then you can drop your document to any of the locations. Lets say you have appointment available in chennai for dec 4th then you can choose that and you can drop off your documents in delhi on same day and time or any of the consular location.

I have a problem. I am very much confused. My OFC location is New Delhi and Consular location is Chennai. I want to attend consular section in New Delhi as well. Why both locations are different on my appointment letter. Because i have choose New Delhi. I did not select Chennai. I shall be grateful to you if you can clear my confusion.
When are your both appointments?
@@Umreeka OFC appointment on 1st Nov New Delhi and consular appointment is on 8th Nov in Chennai. It's emergency appointment.
Yeah they have transferred all the H/L visa processing to Chennai. You have got two options either continue with your existing appointment OR reschedule both appointments to Chennai. There is very slim chance if there is any slot going to be open in New Delhi in near future.

Try creating new profile and see if you are able to make payment and schedule visa appointment.

With new email Id and when you are creating new profile give extra space at the end of passport number and date of birth. That way system should recognize it as new profile. Once profile is created then check all the details are correct (Spaces are automatically removed) before you make the payment. Let me know if this resolves your problem.

I was able to login to cgi portal yesterday as i wanted to reschedule H4 interview of my wife.
Today it is showing "Sign in failed" any idea what went wrong?
Try signing in after 24 hours. It might just be system glitch. Do not try to login more than 4-5 times as system may think that profile is shared.

I am the primary applicant, unable to add my spouse in dependants as keeps showing user details already exist. My husband has not created any profile. I raised a feedback and now they are saying to use a seperate profile for my husband. But if I do this will both of us will bee able to attend the interview together as he is my dependant. Since you have not paid the fee please remove dependent from existing application if you are able to. Then if you are able to remove dependent from existing application or not close existing application for you. Then create a new application for yourself and see if you are able to add dependents there. I think tht should resolve the issue. Let me knownif this helps.

Even after submitting MRV REceipt they are not resolving any issues.
They might be overwhelmed with the problems submitted to them. I know lot of people facing issues and trying to get them resolved. Hope they get to your soon.
I m also facing this issue I paid 740 us dollars visa fees but in portal only 185$ paid show...I claimed my dependant fees receipt number but the receipt number not exist....

You need to fill separate DS160 for each applicant and fee will be $205 each you need to enter your wife’s DS160 confirmation ID. Your and yours wife DS160 confirmation ID will be different when you fill two depending Ds160 and submit
