Here is some unseen footage from the spoiler cam of Greg Murphy driving TMS001 around Brand Hatch at the Super Touring Power Event.
The whole video is worth watching and it gets better as it goes on.
This recording is from the Sunday on the Indy Circuit, annoyingly the car was spitting flames like an angry dragon on the Saturday, but didn't do the same once the camera was mounted! Assume ambient temps were playing a part.
Footage is recorded on an older GoPro (not risking the new one) with an external microphone taped just inside the boot, to keep wind noise down.
    Some background info.....
On the 1st of July, V8 Supercar star Greg Murphy was reunited with his 2008/2009 Sprint Gas Racing Holden V8 Supercar, TMS001. A car we have proudly owned since 2015.
Greg was over in the UK to race a Nissan Primera Super Tourer at the Super Touring Power Event. As soon as we knew Greg was coming to our home circuit, we had to arrange for him to drive the car, which is in its period correct, 2009 Bathurst livery. He would drive the car on both days, first on the GP circuit and then on the Indy. Both runs were as part of a demonstration.
TMS001 was a car Greg and his Dad actually owned after Tasman Motorsport lost its funding. His team Greg Murphy Racing, ran the car in Super 2's for Geoff Emery, who would eventually buy the car and whom we purchased it from.
Greg hadn't driven the car since 2009 and hadn't seen it for over ten years. He wasn't quite sure what to expect but, was not disappointed when he jumped back in it for the first time, amazed at the condition the car was in and that everything was how it should be. His reaction was a huge pat on the back for us.
It is very safe to say Greg absolutely loved driving the car again and at such a legendary circuit. It really was a pleasure to have him in the seat and see the genuine enjoyment he got from it.

It's great seeing a proper Holden (non spaceframe) Supercar again. I remember seeing this back in the day along with the late Jason Richards in the BJR Comnmodore giving the big teams a run for their money.

What do you mean? have you actually seen a project blueprint car with it's panels off? They are most definitely a space frame. The side panel pressings were hung over the rollcage. not to mention the VE Commodore had 25mm cut out of the rear door as did the Falcons from the FG onwards. So even the OEM body pressings won't fit on the car. the rear sections for both Falcon and Commodore from about 2009 were custom coachwork

@@The_Evil_Monkey_93Still use the factory chassis. Compared to the Car of the Future or Gen 3 they're most definitely not.
Car of the future onwards is similar to NASCAR designs. Body panels and engine are all that differentiate the brands.

@@AJS86 No, they do not use the road car chassis. That was over at the end of 2002. Teaks built the chassis from the ground up from the beginning of 2003. The floor pan etc was all built in-house.

@@The_Evil_Monkey_93 from what I've seen and read. The engines and front suspension on the Commodore had to match the Falcon. Along with the aerodynamics.
Nothing else was done.. No identical spaceframes and custom panels like Car of the future.

The Brand Hatch GP circuit would of given her more of a chance to stretch her legs but even then its hardly Bathurst!
