      @jasonstone1046 I can confirm you absolutely will. I will tell you though that if you like thin necks, the Huff model you may not like right away - it’s pretty beefy compared to most of my other guitars but I absolutely love it. The guitar is the loudest and most resonant acoustically of any guitar I’ve ever played it’s crazy.

      I’m pretty invested in Kemper. Any chance of you sharing profiles? You have great taste in tones.

    • @vaisatchatrucci
      @vaisatchatrucci  2 місяці тому

      @markinthemix6055 Hey I get it! I love the Kemper - there’s really no reason to switch sonically if you’re that invested it’s all about functionality really and what your workflow is like. I could go back to the Kemper tomorrow and be 1000% pumped about it. As far as profiles I was using, I would have to go back and look and see. I was strictly using clean amp profiles and pedals in front and not much else honestly though there are some great higher gain profiles of course - Michael Britt’s are always great though I will say I NEVER used the cabs that came with any of the profiles. There’s an Ownhammer IR that I used exclusively that I just had locked in and it made EVERY profile better in my opinion across the board. It was a 4x12 Marshall cab and I think it honestly was one that was in a profile I got off the Kemper profile exchange deal whatever that’s called LOL (it’s been a while) . Find me on Instagram and send me a message and we can coordinate some stuff better that way I’m sure. Shoot me an email to my gmail account and I can share stuff with you that way : VaiSatchAtrucci at gmail dot com

    I also use the RevivalDRIVE Compact HotRod as preamp into poweramp + cab or IR. It provides excellent clean amp tones when the gain is low, making it a versatile pedal platform. When the gain is cranked up, it delivers hard rock and metal tones from the 80s. It even makes me consider buying a second one to use. haha
    I'm also interested in the Origin Effects DELUXE61 and MAGMA57 (specifically their preamp sections, not the effects), as they seem to be excellent preamps as well. Have you had any experience using them?

    Sounds stellar. Thanks for taking the time to run through all this. My first question is, when you hit the left button on the OX stomp, is that just a preset that includes delay on the IR? and then when you hit that button again, is it just another IR but no delay? Second question is, are you essentially using the Revival Drive as your “amp” in this rig (when you’re not using the IRX)?

    • @vaisatchatrucci
      @vaisatchatrucci  3 місяці тому +2

      @CoreyWitt Thanks brother! Appreciate you checking it out! To answer your questions: (1) That button can be configured to do different things but I have it currently solely set to just turn delay on and off and the preset itself never changes so no matter whether the delay is on or off, it’s still set to the same cabinet / mic combination which is always on within the preset I have selected by that larger middle dial. (2) Yes, the Revival Drive here is acting as the amp in this demonstration. Thanks again! 🙏

    • @CoreyWitt
      @CoreyWitt 3 місяці тому +1

      Right on. Thank you. I’ve got my “flat rack” board all splitting out from a PBC6x and then running into the Micro Line Mixer like you, but your core amp tones are money in the bank. I just took delivery of my Tyler USA SE, so I’ve got most of the ingredients, but I’m not getting what you’re getting, which is the perfect mix of top end/mids and that chewy/elastic break up when you dig in.

    • @vaisatchatrucci
      @vaisatchatrucci  3 місяці тому

      @CoreyWitt Sounds like you’ve definitely got the goods!!! Congrats on the Tyler! And the PBC6x is what I REALLY wanted (massive RJM fan - I use their Mastermind GT-22 with my rack rig and LOVE IT) so that’s awesome but I had $190 and the boss will do for now. As to your lack of chew… Let’s see if we can help with that! It’s definitely a compression thing and the Revival Drive has that “thing” as far as the compressed chewy edge of breakup thing but I think you can get that with any decent gain pedal and a compressor set appropriately. Keep in mind I am also hitting the front with the MXR Echoplex Preamp too which might mean that if you boost and push the front end of what you’re running into a little more that may help. I’ll also say that these Duncan stacks REALLY do the chewy thing more so than any other guitar I have which is why I love it so much. My Strat does it well also and it currently is loaded with noiseless single coils which are what the Duncan stacks are so there may be something to that as well. I have a Music Man Valentine and the neck humbucker split does the chewy thing too so I may be wrong… I play REEEEALLY heavy handed too for the record and use at least a 1.5mm pick sometimes a 2.0mm depending on what’s laying around - so a super heavy pick and I think all this stuff combined plays a part but I think I would start with your compressor on the front end and not sure what you’re running there but the Cali76 (stacked edition) I have in my rack rig is AMAZING and were it not so expensive that’s what I would have on my board but the Woodshed is killer too and I like the form factor whereas in my rack it’s in a drawer and space isn’t as critical. Anyway - holler if there’s anything I can help with at all and keep posted if you figure it out!!! I have faith you will!!! Peace! ✌️ thanks again!

      @777strat Man I appreciate that thank you so much! The D.I. Is the Universal Audio Ox Stomp and I’m running out of that into a Universal Audio Apollo interface. From there it’s an HDMI connection from my computer to an ATEM mini video/audio switcher that captures all the sources at once I and stores on an external SD drive that I then import into DaVinci Resolve to edit.

    when you play stereo on amps, do you have analog dry signal or all your path ends via a/d/a processor?

    • @vaisatchatrucci
      @vaisatchatrucci  2 місяці тому +2

      @@olsza6969 the analog dry path is mixed in parallel with the wet stereo paths signal so the dry signal path remains fully analog with no a/d/a conversion all the way through to the amps.

    WAIT! You run the RV7 in parallel? The Digitech does not have a 100% Mix option so therefore you would introduce phasing when the Dry signal and the halfdry signal of the RV7 meet?

    • @vaisatchatrucci
      @vaisatchatrucci  28 днів тому

      @AlexisGitarre The stock ones do not have kill-dry this is true BUT you can (as this one is) have them modded to be able to be set to kill-dry i.e. 100% wet. That said, for whatever reason some FX like the Chase Bliss CTX 1978 in my rack rig does not have a kill dry feature but it also doesn’t introduce any phasing so it really depends on the effect and also the mixer.

      @AlexisGitarre 28 днів тому +1

      @@vaisatchatrucci thanks for the quick reply! Wow really? You can mod the rv7 for 100%wet? Can you give me any info on that? Who did the mod or is there any schematic you used? This would be a huge help for me because I love the sound of the pedal but I need it as 100% wet in my rig because I get phasing issues unfortunately.

      @vaisatchatrucci  28 днів тому +1

      @@AlexisGitarre No problem! The guy that did mine is no longer with us unfortunately but you can contact XTS in Nashville TN and they can do the same mod just make sure you let them know you want it to be 100% wet in stereo because one of the mods they do is just one of the outputs is mono non-kill dry and the other mono kill dry but they can do both kill dry and keep outputs stereo for you.
