I think i hair dryer would have worked for the heat gun to allow easy removal but you already have your pedals on it so might have been tough - and i use WD 40 for excess sticky removal and a nice distinfactant stay to make it nice again!
Whilst you're there rearranging all your cabling why not make a step up with your midi controller? In the line6 midi mad scientist club we have been reviewing a lot of people's board builds looking exactly at ways to avoid board crashes. Power is of course one thing you can never skimp on and that sweet foot one is good 👍 but for midi have you ever considered augments for backup commands like running setlist managers on an iPad ? Will be interesting to see your choices for delays if you change up and whatever backup you build in should your hxstomp fail .
Thanks Alec for always pushing one step further , I’ll present this board in the group and I totally agree this could use some automation (I’m still a student of midi ) but I’ll love the hx atom to control the big sky and D1 and vice versa
@@MrDees_music I reckon automation is key 🗝️. Whilst I'm not a live player, when doing cinematics and I'm playing in the moment following what's happening on screen it is really good having whole sets of presets and a good foot controller that follows commands from the iPad. This for me cuts way down on repetition and eases up my own memory to just react and follow my instincts rather than being slaved to the tech the tech should be working for you, you know what I mean ?
Thats why you need to come to the Cioks or Strymon side of Power! But we love you or whatever lol Also how you got dual lock and have defective cable SMH
Very nice end result. Great looking board.
Thank you
