A very nice 4 bdrm. Love that large kitchen. This looks like a house that would actually accommodate a family well.
This is a gorgeous home. I love the layout, no wasted space. All the built-in features in the bedrooms are way more practical than just a big walk-in closet. Really beautiful.
Another stunning AKASHI DESIGNS creation. Plenty of living and sleeping space. Outdoor comfort. Warm and cozy without feeling cramped or cluttered. Great office space and plenty of privacy when needed. But it's the interiors and little touches I love too. From the old-fashioned telephone to the beautiful rugs to the wood-paneled ceilings. Gorgeous flooring, beautiful furniture, lighting fixtures, and lovely lamps. luscious linens and bedding. Beautiful doors too. Nothing is forgotten. The great music must be an added inspiration. I think they forgot the HVAC. Where's the furnace? Do you put your vacuum in the pantry w your food?? or just not have an ironing board - use that space, at least they do have that. ???? I think a small cleaning closet for a vac, a floor mopper deal, a bucket and a broom - all the cleaning supplies is a necessity.

Very beautiful to look at externally, love all the big porches front and back - so nice to have the back porch! I love that the garage is neatly hidden away but part of the overall look of the property. Great layout and flow and really good sized rooms too. My only slight tweak would be to make the master bath just a little bit bigger to have a large soaking bath/tub and much larger shower, otherwise pretty much perfection methinks 🙂
We were thinking that we would get rid of the tub in the master and make one larger shower, and then in the lower SE bedroom/bath, we would put in a jacuzzi! That room would be our quilting studio and the jacuzzi would be a nice end of the day.
This house it's beautiful... I would construct one if I had the money.

Lovely design. I always like en suite bedrooms and a separate powder room. I also like the conversation nook on the side porch. Great to have a separate entrance to the office if you work from home and have clients coming in.

A descent sized home with a 1 car garage is ludacris! Unless you dont need storage space for mower, yard tools, shovel, tools, barbeque (unless you live in dry, warm year round weather) ladder, and just storage space since this doesnt have a basement. I wouldnt buy any house without at least a 1.5 garage.
First ... this is a WONDERFUL home! Congrats on designing it. I sent a link to my son. This is what I would like to retire to - we could hope he would make it happen. To make it mine, I would take the bath out of the master bath and enlarge the shower. And, I would take the shower out of the SE bedroom and make it into a jacuzzi. It would be wild to have it sunken! This bedroom would be my quilting studio. And, then I would add a door in the hallway where the two NE bedrooms/bath are, and I would rent it out to someone who can help pay the mortgage or possibly help me as I age. I like that every room is full and it would push me to get rid of things not needed as if staying at a resort home. Excellent work. We have looked at literally hundreds of homes, and this one is by far #1!!!

Well done would like living room to of been bigger for a Christmas tree area, I would move wall out between first and second bedroom
M to make shower wider, and walkout from garage would be a great are to make a outdoor kitchen bque area. Area on front porch I would close that off and make a inside game room area. Great design someone did a a lot though in this design.

Lovely home, nice flow from room to room. My pet peeve with most of your kitchen designs is with the cabinetry. It would be much more attractive and functional to have the top cabinets extended the ceiling perhaps with glass doors and interior lighting to display some nice collectibles instead of a dust collecting top shelf. This includes full cabinets to ceiling in laundry room, one always needs extra storage. Instead of a free standing, in the way ironing board, a drop down wall mounted with shelf for iron would look much nicer and free up floor space. I know you are trying to be very neutral in you interior color decor choices, but it would be nice to see something other than greige, grey and beige now and again 😴.

This is a very beautiful home. Can you imagine cleaning it? But if you think of it, having half this size with a bedroom and bath in the downstairs (basement) would probably equal this. I would love to live in a home like this!
If you could afford this home there is a good chance you could hire a cleaning person/company to clean the house. Wish I could be the homeowner. I'll just keep dreaming.

I love this house. But, I wish they could look at building as to accommodate walkers and wheelchairs. No tub, big shower to be able to roll a wheelchair in or a walker. Wider door jams maybe pocket doors.

Needs a real wood burning fire place, but a lovely plan indeed. I have been looking for plans like this with a basement. Seems like they are not as popular today as they once were.

Big house, really liked the pantry, big enough for a small freezer, something that is missing in a lot of house designs. Ceilings are nice, different. The sink in the laundry room should be in the middle, too close to the wall, unless there’s tile there. Otherwise I would live here.
Knock off about 1000 sq.ft./2 bedrooms and there it is-perfect. Even better, make the garage a 3 car. Really love the kitchen. And those ceilings are good for eye interest and texture/contrast in an otherwise really bland interior. If, in my fantasy, I were to build this house I’d really have to shrink it a bit.
The deal breaker was the distance from the garage to the pantry. You have to haul groceries clear across the house.😊

Depends on where, what state,, property varies greatly from state to state! Depends how big of a lot you're going to build it on,, MANY variables.

Cute from the outside but ensuite is too small - especially the shower - and closet is too small too. Entrance way should be wider. No door straight out of the office - enter from inside the front door. Widen the pantry to sit the deep freeze. Toilet is too close to the wall in main bath. Laundry room is too narrow and save space by using a drop down ironing board. Minor tweaks make a big difference.
The filming makes it impossible to formulate a mental picture of how each space relates to the others.
