Love the video, and the advice! Most of my videos are cooking videos, I doubt I will ever get a sponsor there... but I also include trucking, which is my day job, and motorcycle content, I ride a Harley. I also have 2a content... dunno if the mix is good for u tube? They definitely don't like 2a... but I'm mostly making food, from scratch. Basically patreon is all I have for funding, but it buys alot of the food, so I'm not complaining.
I watch 2 camping channels that always feature cooking in every episode. May work well with the truck or bike videos. UA-cam is very anti 2a for sure which really sucks.
Great video brother. Good advice for someone who is looking to do what you are talking about. I would rather spend my own money on something as a consumer first and then reach out for something new when that stuff comes out. That's me though, that way I know in my own experience, that I would want to rep a product.
That's the most authentic way to do it for sure. I like to do it the same. I only wanna promote things I actually use and even if you love it, people look at it differently if you didn't own one before they sent one.
Nice transparent video. I don’t usually post content on social media so I don’t foresee earning any free parts the way you described but the way I got a free carb back in the day was the dealership that I bought my bike from had a program in place where where you earned 10% of whatever you purchased from the dealership, not including the motorcycle, to be used to buy something from the dealership. I think it shocked them when I brought in $3k worth of receipts and got a free Mikuni carb for my TC88B.
Cool topic and tips on the deck, I just started reaching out and having partnership conversations recently, to my surprise some have already started to come to fruition which is cool
Good advice. I just recently started Motovlogging. 1st few videos are up but rough compared to some of the seasoned folks. Hope to get better and your channel definitely helps.
Just start a youtube channel and the free stuff comes flying at you. I usually unsubscribe to these channels especially when they say they won't do that and then start it. I am done

That's rad. My first meeting with Harley Corp they said channel size didn't matter as much to them as people think.

I’m happy if I can find Harley parts.
That's the truth!

What are you preferring riding your self a softail or Touring models ?
I don't really do long distance so I love the light feel of the softail. Just super easy to throw around when you set them up right.
What’s up my blippers
You might be onto something!
