- I've been very FORTUNATE to not have any life destroying or deadly diseases. But I've still been pretty sick and its resulted in some near death experiences. I want to talk to you about those today.

I've been watching and rarely commenting on your videos for a few hours now and I just want you to know that you're inspiring. and powerful, and everything in between. I'm not a new viewer or even a new subscriber. I've been following you for years. But today you have touched me in a very special way and I want you to know that. I could type/talk to you for hours about my problems and feelings but I'm not going to do that because first of all, I'm not sure you'll even see this, and second, I don't want to waste your time. But I do want you to know that you've helped me. I said this already but you are simply an inspiration, and I thank you for that.

man you know I've been going through something quite similar my life right now is quite messed up, I am laying in bed trying to fall asleep to rest a bit from this depression but sure enough I cant even sleep, so I turned on youtube and so your vid, and thought hey boogie never fails on making me smile, so I cliked and sure enough the last part, when you said its not too late, made my inside feel kinda joyful I guess its hope you gave me, and for that I thank you a lot man :) love you man
Thank you Boogie, I myself have been in and out of the hospital for the past 15 years because I have 3 chronic diseases that I have to take tons of meds for. There are times I get really depressed about it, and hearing how you have been able to pull yourself through your struggles is really inspiring. Thank You.

Wonderful. After my back surgeries, I ended up with MRSA. My wounds were packed everyday, was on a wound vac and it came right back. I had a picc line.. One day i stopped fighting. I stoppes using the antibiotics and prayed for death everyday. The pain was too much. One day my son climbed on my bed and something clicked. I had to fight for him. I couldnt give up. That was 2 1/2yrs ago. I still live with pain but i fight it and the depression everyday for my babies. Never give up!
I hope you live to be 100 to give out all your inspiration to the whole world.

I have lymphedema on both legs and ulcers so I know just how you feel .since I discovered your channel you have been giving me a different outlook on life plus you cheer me up a hell of a lot its great to know someone else is going through the same thing and there is light at the end of the tunnel thanks so much for showing me that I really needed it

I honestly don't even remember how I came across your channel, but however I did, I'm so fucking glad. Sometimes you make me laugh my ass off and other times I just sit here and like to listen to you talk about whatever. Even if it is something I am not really interested in. 'You cannot predict your future. Don't even try'. I think along those lines all the time. I love reading the wikis of famous people and discovering the ups and downs everyone goes through. The years of knocks people took before finally reaching a goal or finding a new path in life out of the blue. It's unpredictable. That's what makes it exciting.

My father was born blind, my mother recently developed cancer, and I have Crohn's disease. We don't see each other as "sick". That's no way to live. If anything, these ailments have made us appreciate life that much more. Great video boogie.

Epilepsy since birth, hospitalised at 15 because I would not stop seizing/convulsing for 2 days straight (Went to school Monday, woke up Wednesday night). What was worse was that the doctors said I was faking it, even though I lost 2 whole days. Feeling betrayed by the people who were supposed to help me I resorted to smoking and drinking to the point of self destruction. Now have a son, a fiancé, I'm happy and content (still can't drive, but then again I don't want to with the prices)
I started to cry im so glad u stayed and not died thk u 4 everything u have done

I feel so privileged right now that I have never in my life been properly sick. I may only be 13 but I've still never broke bones been in hospital or had any anything like a infection, heck I haven't thrown up in 5 years, and I feel very lucky.

Oops hit enter on my phone. This was truly heart touching.. I've never had a life threatening illness, and the only time I almost died was when I almost pulled the trigger on myself. This was truly helpful, and the comments speak for themselves.

It's so painful to hear you say, "I don't care if I die, good riddance to me.". I'm glad you decided to fight for your life, as you do make a difference to so many people. From a random guy on the internet, I love you, Boogie, you are an inspiration.
I want to give up all the time. I have a mental illness diagnosis that has made my life pretty damn hard.Every day i have to decide if I want to keep trying. Most days I do decide to keep trying. It wasn't until I was about 35 that I discovered what was going to make my life worthwhile. Even still I have to consciously decide to keep going every day.

and lately i have hardened up a bit, like im ok with the sight feel and pain of blood wounds like it doesnt make me cringe anymore i just accept it.
boogie have you ever considered trying alternative medicine for yourself. many things that traditional medicine says is incurable/untreatable can be treated/cured with alt med. its inspiring to see the strength you show about losing your extra weight and it would be heartening to see you find some kind of alt med treatment/cure for at least one of your ailments to help make your journey a little easier and be that much healthier. stay strong boogie
Having chicken pox and pneumonia really sucks. I remember having both when I was 4. The only good thing about it was getting to play Mario on the NES while in the hospital.

the fact that you managed to overcome near-death 3 times shows that you are incredibly strong. remember that always. incredibly strong. whether you believe in a god or not, remember that someone/something wants you in this world. Me being one.
