If we don’t know the name of the surgeon and clinic/hospital then we can’t be warned. There are many procedures that go wrong in every country but obviously not discussed.
As a rule of thumb I would say "dont get a procedure done in a place/country where you don't speak the local language". Things can go wrong anywhere, but you can prevent a lot by knowing a country well and speaking the language. First you will be able to see more reviews, you'll be able to communicate with the doctor and other medical staff better. Also you need to understand a bit of their laws, so you know your rights. But also you should be aware which certificates of quality and licenses are valid.
It just seems her message was not fully understood so let me help. The message is to get people to think before going on surgeries that have high risk especially when you have people that depend on you. It's all vanity at the end of the day. Is the body more important than possibly leaving your loved ones behind.
Prayers? They didn’t save her sister, god didn’t answer them… why’s that? Oh yeah, he doesn’t exist. Deal with your mental health and stop promoting it!! Do you still believe in Santa and the tooth fairy?!
If only people would stop body shaming people, then no one would go for these drastic measures. Betetr to be big and alive rather than be thin and dead. What a beautiful young girl she was... tragic...
A person's own insecurities, and own ignorance, cause these mistakes in judgment. Other people cannot make a person insecure, that comes from within. And with so many deaths in Turkey from medical procedures, it's sheer ignorance for people to continue to go there for medical procedures.
Body shaming should never be an excuse to have surgery, particularly when that surgery is dangerous. Go to the gym. Park further away. Eat half of your plate. But never take a chance with surgery.
It’s nothing to do with body shaming. She had other options and wanted a quick fix instead of choosing the path of health and fitness which is a lifestyle choice. I’m sorry she died but that’s the risk you take for a surgery that isn’t actually necessary. Life saving surgery has a risk of death. She gambled with her life and lost. Stop blaming others for her insecurities and bad choices.
No surgery is worth this risk (just my opinion) especially abroad. I knew of a lady whos sister had a tummy tuck in Brazil. She was fine but while visiting her sister she too decided to have one , same clinic but died. So sad to say the least!
Ok glad the doctor said the truth on the end that she was already dead before she came cuz I was thinking myself that ‘CPR for 1hr and 30mins’ sound like a complete lie and she would have been long dead, no one does CPR for that long
I had aesthetic surgery in Istanbul…everything, including the hospital, surgeon, nursing care, post care, was state of the art…better than anything I have experienced in my own country (USA)…so I think it’s less about the country, and more to do with the specific doctor/clinic /facilities. There can be good ones and bad ones anywhere..
I personally would NEVER advise anyone to have any kind of surgery unless it is life saving surgery, if you want a really nice looking body, eat a clean diet and train regularly at the gym. I have never had any plastic or cosmetic surgery and I think my body looks good and I am very happy with the person I am.
@@_odff9898 I apologise, I honestly didn't realise that. I guess there are some circumstances where surgery is the best option. The best advice I can give anyone who is planning on having surgery, is to not get drawn in by the cheap price by going abroad to certain countries. Think about your health and wellbeing, take your time, save up and always go for the better option.
@@_odff9898yes, however who’s in charge of that? She was. With slow weight loss your skin has time to retract and she may not have had a lot of loose skin. Not everyone has loads of loose skin from weight loss and plenty do, and live with it because it’s not that bad and they did it the right way. She chose to get to that size and then chose an easy fix and it ended her life. It’s sad.
@@LeilaVividSounds that's the thing it's not weight loss that causes excess skin per say but extreme weight loss at such a fast pace. Low calorie diets and excessive physical activity are not the way to go. It's unsustainable too, a high protein diet and lifting weights a few days a week is optimal. The problem is people want to lose weight fast but if you do that you can't build muscle and building muscle is what the focus should be not losing pounds off the scale.
This is the thing, if you travel to another country to get surgery than you need to stay there after the surgery until you’ve fully healed and recovered before you go back to your home country. If you have a problem with your surgery you need to go back to the place you got the surgery procedure done. That’s why it’s recommended that you try to get the surgery done in the country where you live and where you speak the language so if anything goes wrong or problems with healing your surgeon can help you before it gets much worse. Saving money going to another country but not staying there to watch your recovery process is actually your fault. And no I didn’t watch this video at all. I hear stories like this all the time.
The human body isn't "open source", no matter what the "influencers" on TikTok and Instagram tell you. You can't just cut into it, add things, remove things, or whatever without having some serious risks. We first saw this with the LASIK craze, then the BBL craze, and now the Veneer craze. People are getting mangled.
The problem with paying for a discounted procedure is doctors are rushing through the procedure to squeeze in more patients and not enough breaks and days off. If you must, just pay more. Not saying a doctor cannot manage high demand, just saying it’s not worth it.
Its a sad story, and it shows how it wasn't handled well. But it doesn’t in any way shape or form prove there was any blame or negligence on behalf of the surgeon or the clinic. There are an unknown number of people walking around with undiagnosed heart conditions. Would this interview have been broadcast had the clinic been in Harley Street?
She had an abnormal ecg and they went ahead and did the surgery,I saw this story in the sun newspaper her sister shouldn’t of been allowed it and a surgeon in the uk would never of gone ahead!
