Help us “Andor - Season 2,” you’re our only hope.
As long as it is written by the same people who wrote the first season then it should be all clear.
Written by the same guy who is the showrunner and who wrote first season, and the same guy who wrote and directed rogue one, so this must be pretty straightforward
@@Afdog Tony Gilroy didn't direct Rogue One. The director was Gareth Edwards.
@@nikulus2840 ah, yep, you’re right
He was the writer though
as long as the writing and acting are on par if not better than what we got with season one i don't mind the wait. let them cook and they'll give us an excelent meal
The only thing that could entice me back to Disney+ at this point.
It's probably for episode 3. That was the episode they were forced to continue filming without Tony onset. It's the episode I'm most worried about structurally I think
what happened tp tony?
Writers Strike. He is writer, but also the “show runner”.
I absolutely loved Andor season one. I loved it even a little bit more than the Mandalorian.!
It's probably a hot take, but I agree! Andor is way better than Mandalorian!
Same, but Grogu is life
@@takemeseriouslyplx2124 I've always thought the Mandalorian was over rated and Andor was underrated and yes I know how highly rated it is I just think Andor was the best show that has recently released.
Much much better than the fan film Mando. Apples and oranges.
@@takemeseriouslyplx2124 I'm happy to see others give it praise, I'm sick of people dismissing it because they find it boring because there isn't a fight scene or cameo every 2 seconds
I‘m really happy that the directors of Andor actually care enough, to make possibly unpopular reshoots this late in the production. Tony and his crew seem to care more about the result, then about timetables
Wdym by unpopular?
Too bad Disney has decanonized all of its Star Wars media
@@wyattcole5452 ...George Lucas never saw EU as his Star Wars, never. Yet he still took some ideas he liked from EU, twisted them to his vision and added to his productions. Do I really have to make you remember that George's Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Prequel Trilogy, Clone Wars, The Clone Wars, all of them retconned EU hella a lot of times?
To name some examples:
- Boba Fett supposed to be imperial advanced stormtrooper
- Owen Lars supposed to be Obi-Wan Kenobi's brother
- clone wars supposed to be Jedi clones fighting aganist Republic
- how, where and when characters died
There's way more than meets an eye.
George retconned his own ideas, created his own plotholes that he tried to explain better or worse, like:
- why Darth Vader is not longer firstname and surname but title and name?
- why Vader survived first Death Star when orignally he didn't?
- why Stormtroopers aren't precise good shooters anymore?
- why Vader has two faces in the same movie and Obi-Wan Kenobi too but in more movies?
- why Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi got so old so fast?
- why Vader never visited Tatooine where Luke walk around with his Skywalker surname?
- why Owen Lars does not recognize C-3PO?
- why Obi-Wan Kenobi does not recognize C-3PO and R2D2?
- why Vader does not recognize C-3PO and R2D2?
- why Darth Bane look different and is cursed?
People also hates George's Star Wars productions since 1979 for reasons, like:
- why he retconned EU? (look above)
- why he reconned himself? (look above)
- why (first) Death Star got destroyed so easily?
- why Rebelion got defeated?
- why Luke's father Vader twist?
- why side characters of Luke became so useless?
- why Leia and Han equally useless romance?
- why these robodogs?
- why another bears?
- why Leia Luke's sister twist?
- why another death star?
- why game objective like shield?
- why imperial soldier got so easily defeated by primitive bears?
- why Palpatine became so pathetic in the throne room and with his death?
Disney products, The Acolyte aren't different to what George Lucas ever did to Star Wars in general terms. It's the same overwriting EU in their own way, adding silly ideas and fixing their own plotholes with new productions.
- Anakin Skywalker is still the only character born fatherless by the will of FORCE.
- The twin sisters are born fatherless by the will of WITCHES.
- Ki-Adi-Mundi is still hypocritical, too sure of his safety bucketbrain like Jedi High Council, Jedi Order are in Prequel Trilogy and The Clone Wars, like how Jedi ignored Qui-Gon Jinn warnings, like Darth Malgus in KOTOR Deceived told us, like Luke Skywalker in The Last Jedi told us.
- Ki-Adi-Mundi's species age never had canon version, EU was never canon, so him being in The Acolyte doesn't change anything.
I am still cautious about the twin sisters of The Acolyte. One witch said she created them. I hope it will stay this way and will be the origins of Plagueis' Force manipulation interests which in consequence The Force itself will respond with Anakin Skywalker. If not, if The Force itself spawned the twin sisters then I change side and hate Disney more than ever.
Still not excuse to what Disney did with Sequel Trilogy overall mess. Rey Skywalker? Ha! Ahsoka Tano deserves Skywalker name way more than Rey ever did. All because they didn't let Rey to develop next to Luke like any good written character. She could be next funny Ahsoka but just an engineer and the mirror to the past of Anakin instead we got a female thief.
@@LukiKruki I personally don’t think of the prequels as canon frankly lmao, the moment they start to plan the first Death Star explosion the series goes down hill. But let’s state the obvious: he’s the creator. Doesn’t matter who you give rights to, the creator has the power to be an unreliable “narrator”, or rather storyteller, and yes he will and should get backlash but that’s not grounds for real decanonization, Disney’s bs is. And when political or ideological things drive so much, and when it’s from a company like Disney who go out of their way to destroy, rlly not comparable. Lucas at least creates
@@wyattcole5452 Disney didn't do real decanonization yet. It's still keeping it or recontextualization like George Lucas did.
Because since KOTOR we know the cycle goes on and on, like Baylon Skoll also said, and Dave Filoni previously was working on Avatar: The Last Airbender from which George Lucas hired him instantly without questioning him much, and we know in George's sequel trilogy he wanted to make Leia Organa Chosen One, I believe Revan, Anakin and Rey are gonna be examples of generational Chosen Ones, like in The Avatar: The Last Airbender.
If Tony Gilroy wants additional shoots I'm 100% solid with that. I trust this production a billion times over any of the other SW productions.
I would love it if they let him have another project. It has to be something off-cannon though (meaning not part of the Skywalker or Filoni-verse.)
The only disney project that is perfect
A perfect pile of s#it?
Rogue One and Andor are the best live action they have put out by far
Other than the Mandalorian.
S3 had its “wut da fuk” moments and even full episodes
I'm fine with waiting. They clearly want to make this season very solid and I'd rather they take their time and make that a reality rather than rush it.
As long as it's good as last season
It's a relief this is the planned end to the show. And that there not bank on It's success for more seasons. I got bad feeling the state star wars is going to be in after Acolye and Skelton crew
It could be pushed back another 6 months for all I care, i really want season 2 to somehow be even BETTER than season 1
Damn. Hope, its actually to adjust Tony Gilroy's vision and not k.k' attempt to put agenda to "subvert expectations'
You do realize that Tony Gilroy is as much of a lapdog as Dave Filoni.
@@mazkeraid4039 How? Gilroy basically got carte blanche for Andor.
@Rezzanine He defended Kathleen Kennedy, who, as we know, can be such a pretentious hag who doesn't carry the torch as we speak. Also, that doesn't apply to you because you can not pick up signs of their characteristics.
@@mazkeraid4039 If that was the case, he would never have got the . Laughably obvious!
Andor: a show that starts with A and no one thought would be good but is actually is so much, has so much depth, such compelling characters and themes. Has only two seasons and I'm now obsessed with everything related to this show. I can't wait for next season.

Acolyte: a show that starts with A and no one thought would be good, but it is actually way worse than anyone could have expected.
You are absolutely on point ❣️ I have already watched Andor more often the even the Original Trilogy - and especially the little details make every rewatch worthwhile - I am absolutely thrilled for the final season 2 … but I have trust in Tony Gilroy and all the crew ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
@@takemeseriouslyplx2124I don’t think it’s worse than “anyone could’ve expected.” This implies that there were expectations in the first place
Oh my god someone that thinks like me!
@@WaffleWindow979 😁
Season 1 was an absolute masterpiece so they can take as much time as needed to make season 2 a masterpiece as well.
We need a good Star Wars show after The Acolyte. If not, Star Wars is dead lol. I tried watching 5 minutes of the Acolyte, and it was so cringe, so bad dialogue and characters that I actually did stop watching after 5 minutes. That is not a figure of speech...
this is actual Star wars content i am excited about
Fun fact: the new Star Wars movie that's focusing on the first Jedi and is said to be a biblical epic has the Logan Director and has one of the Andor writers writing the script.
Thats a releif. Hopefully disney start to be smart enough to use andor writers
Wait, a director of a fantastic movie and a writer from an excellent show? I almost want to get my hopes up for a good star wars product
You just wait. The first Jedi is gonna turn out to be a trans lesbian space witch

It's really not. And don't like your own comments kid. Go get a new perspective on life, stop listening to grifters channels, go form your own opinions, and go touch grass. And please take a shower. A real one. And go get a job and a life and expand your knowledge beside that one brain cell is yours that's been corrupted and programmed by others to blindly hate. And hopefully you can move out of that adoption centers basement you're living in.

Andor was awesome, and I think what makes it so good is how relatable it is, it's got a message that needs to be heard in today's world
At first I thought that thumbnail was Paul McCartney
Let it take as long as it needs, we desperately need Andor to be good for the sake of Star Wars
Im worried they will slam this show into the ground.
I am really scared is that Disney will ruin andor too
Andor is the only glimpse of hope I have of this decaying corpse of a franchise
Not going to save Kennedyfilm's SWINO though, it still does nothing for those, especially when it did Mon Mothma dirty.
@@mazkeraid4039so are you saying one “good” show doesn’t save a universe? Because if you’re saying that then you are 100% right
But if you’re not saying that then what are you saying I’m confused (I just woke up so I’m tired rn)
Is anything gonna happen in season 2,
It was so boring
Wow😊nice video!!!
The alcolyte wishes it was lkke andor.
Something good to look forward to
One path. One choice. We win, or everyone dies.
FINALLY, it better be as good as the first season. That's how you write characters man.
I’m genuinely not gunna watch it, I couldn’t give less of a crap, season one was the worst Star Wars thing I’ve ever seen, nothing can save this next season solely because it’s a sequel to season one.
I’m one of plos bros
Tbh im not too excited
Andor season 2 could be a critical success... It still can't save Star Wars, Disney has killed the IP.
I'm really looking forward and can't wait to see it too :)
Imho the best SW TV show Disney has produced so far.
It's really too bad that how anti-fascist Andor is, that we aren't getting it before November in the US...
I hope the reshoots don't mean that Disney(KK) will be injecting stupid woke crap in it.
The Disney execs probably wanted to add more woke and ruination to it, after they discovered that season 1 got out as a wonderfully written and produced story with too little of the MeSsAgE.
PLEASE prove season one wasn't a fluke! Restore hope to the galaxy!
Man I never even finished the first season
Dewitt.
It's the best Star Wars media since Clone wars, you should watch it!
@@itaiharshoshanim-ib6kp no id have to get disney + again and I don't think it's worth it tbh
It’s. so. effing. good.
Nevermind that it was grounded in a bad way.
In this season, I'm sure Cassian will discover that he's in the wrong body and start using they/her pronouns
I would never watch it anyway. I don't hate myself so I'm not paying racist disney to hate me on screen.
Given how disastrous acolyte has been, it's definitely for the best that they're taking more time with this. Let's just hope their efforts are worth it...
I’m begging that it won’t turn out like mando season 3, help me andor season 2 your my only hope
I'm a little bummed out but hey, if it means its gonna be anywhere near as good as S1, I'm happy to wait
Season one didn’t really draw my attention but maybe season two will and I’m excited to see k2-SO
This is the last Star Wars that I care about. Disney has lost me everywhere else. I hope the reshoots are solely at the behests of the writer/director and NOT from anyone else at Disney.
Look in gonna be real I think andor is good but I personally didn't enjoy it like i can't really remember a lot of character names
I wonder who will have magically turned gay in this season.
i just hope they dont ruin andor like they have with everything theyve touched, its supposed to lead right into rogue 1, how it gets there is a mystery tho
i can't wait either hope the S2 gets more action ,drama and more romance i mean you both imperials!
Star Wars Content: *Hello There!!!*
They should just push back skeleton crew. Remember when The Last Jedi left a bad taste that people didn't want to see Solo?
Solo was mid anyway.
If these people would actually know EU, they will understand why Luke Skywalker behaved in The Last Jedi in such way. Jedi and Sith are Yin-Yang, neither is good, neither is bad, there's a balance in the middle, Dai Bendu.
@@LukiKruki false.
Originally Star wars had a more christian inspired view of the force - the dark side was the force corrupted. So much that the light side is never spoken as such by the characters in the Original Six Movies. The fight was between the force and evil characters.
Gradualy the force evolved to be more manichaestic in the mind of the public - There were two sides, one corrupted and one good, they were both fighting and separate things still, but the bad side was given its own agency.
Again in the minds of the public, the force had evolved to a more confucian the mindset- there were two sides fighting, neither could destroy the other, and they were in balance.
Once again, the force evolved, this time to a more new-ager view- There were two sides, neither good nor bad, and the balance is the middle, you can be everything! And the consequences are no problem.
As you can see, none of these other options are actually George's view, but other writers who came later. The force is not balanced in the middle, a middle doesn't exist. The force is only balanced in the light, as it is the balanced side. Evil is not natural, but an imbalance.
Sorry for the massive text, and for any typos or strange spacing, my keyboard is currently messed up; Have a good day.
@@irmaosmatos4026 It's not some Christian bullsheet you speak about... All religions inspired Jedi and Sith in very basic allegory, that religious wars are stupid which Tarkin says. Original trilogy supposed to be good people vs bad people from the get go to show show cold war, vietnam war, how dictatorship is bad and that's it. When George Lucas then created Prequel Trilogy he wanted to show USA's democracy is badly ruled by corporations and how it can became dictatorship. He also wanted to show how war veterans aren't respected which inspired The Bad Batch. During OT originally Jedi were good and Sith were bad. Since PT both Jedi and Sith became radical ways of life, opposite sides of the same coin, of something once was balanced way of life. Balance became knowing when it's time to give and when it's time to take, selfless vs selfish - what Mortis gods represent. Cool enough, such balance can be found everywhere in our universe, like Earth too far from / too close to Sun, no or too strong gravity, carnivores, herbivores and omnivores. Prime Jedi, Dai Bendu, Bendu, Tython and its moons Ashla and Bogan are all about this Yin-Yang.
Its reshoots because they forgot the pronouns
Make it a chick and make they/them non binary
This better be good otherwise I QUIT STAR WARS. With Disney using AI to write shows.
Well if you quit Star Wars wanna send hate to the mcu?
Are only hope for stars wars is it
can't wait ! Just a little sad to know that Cassian survive anyways. But i can't wait to see the other characters.
Watch the series finale end scene be the first scene of Rogue One, lol.
Broooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
WHERE’S KRENNIC? WE NEED HIM
Nothing is going to be exciting. The viewship will suffer the same fate as I believe Ahsoka.
I honestly don't care about the viewership. It's a small niche part of the Star Wars fandom that appreciate it anyways. There's no more after S2, so as long as they do a decent job of tying everything into Rogue One, I'm fine with it. It's not a show that's going to blow you away, but it has established it's own unique charm and intrigue.
@alienrefugee51 The only thing I will give credit for Andor is that it was cut down to 2 seasons, something The Mandalorian should have done. But that is all you need to hear that for me. It's too grounded, and nobody would care about tokenized backgrounders that don't stick with you. They are losers that had not won anything anyway.
@@mazkeraid4039I also think the mandalorian should’ve only had 2 seasons, the third season was absolute sh*t, like seriously! If you did so good in season 2 then how did you do so bad in season 3, absolutely unforgivable
The lone bright light in Disney Star Wars. Even if the writing is sub par, the characters have already been so well-developed that they should be able to make up for any lack-luster writing, so long as they don't do something stupid and deviate 180º from S1.
This both brings everything full circle and is hilariously ironic given what Rogue One went through 😂
Nooooooooooo
Better be better than the first series. Utter piss.
When u were born then ur mom said “utter piss”
Lets go!
WHEN WAS THIS CONFIRMED IM LIVING IN BRISTOL FOR UNIVERSITY RN I NEED TO SNEAK ONTO SET
You should make a bud on the Star Wars mod for contractors vr
Andor hands down best Star Wars live action
Good I need another sleep aid 😂
Writers striking when they can barely write anything worth paying them for lmao
Andor was a masterpiece series. It just needed more aliens, action and spaceships to make it feel more starwarsy.
it's gonna be a dogshit wokefest
trust me
Wait... second and FINAL season? 😢
Yes it will probably end after that but be happy for what we got
Final!! THANK GOD
