How often should I get an oil change for my Mercedes-Benz?
Since oil breaks down when it isn't being used, you'll want to schedule Mercedes-Benz oil replacement at least once or twice a year.
How much does it cost to change oil on a Mercedes-Benz?
You can see that a Mercedes-Benz oil change costs a fair amount, whether you get one through a service at a dealer or on your own.
    ...
    General Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Cost.
Do Mercedes require special oil changes?
Mercedes cars will usually have bigger oil capacities than a Toyota or Honda. Hence, you pay more for the Mercedes-specific motor oil, which is typically more costly than other branded motor oils. Mercedes has a reason for this. ... Most cars require changing the oil every 5,000 miles.
What is the difference between service A and service B Mercedes?
The biggest difference between Mercedes-Benz Service A and Mercedes-Benz Service B is the required time interval for each. Service A is required after 10,000 miles or 1 year, while Service B is required when you reach 20,000 miles or 2 years.

Really good video, thanks. One thing is that on my 2019 S560 the oil filter is downward facing, not sideways facing like your car.

Good video. I like the tip on getting that gasket off. Do these cars no longer have a dipstick to suck the oil from the top? I just bought a machine and it seems benz is going back to the original under the car method of oil changes.

If only I had that convenient cutout bay in my garage. 😎 Without it I'm guessing an extractor is the better method.

Thanks for vid. Just an FYI for some North American cars. My 2018 S560 has an additional drain or sampling plug in the middle of the 15/16" plastic housing cap. Have you a vid on changing the cabin filter or give me an idea of where it is. Thanks

@@kimvellore4134 Most Mercedes authorized repair facilities or dealerships will have Mann. Just call them and give them Year and model. They will have it.

You should let most of the oil out before you screw it back. Just to be perfect bro then again not your car👍
