I'm glad you found it helpful.😊 No, I did not use a special foot. That's the foot that came with the machine. To hold the spool, I would recommend any holder that allows the finishing line to spin freely, could even be something as simple as the straw of a tumbler. How would you do this with 2 ends that aren’t being sewn together???
I would probably make sure the fishing line is buried into a seam. If possible, perhaps burn the end a bit to melt it into the project.
