- Anders Colsefni - Gently live at the Crowbar, Sydney Australia on 11.10.23.
Album: Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat.
Track 2: Gently
Anders Colsefni (Original Slipknot Vocalist) performs Slipknot’s debut release ‘Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat.’ IN FULL for the first time in decades and never, ever to be repeat again.
Plot twist: Anders is going to be Slipknots new drummer.
God if only loll
I think clowns son is more likely and it would drive me nuts lol
Anders was offered chris's spot when he left/was fired. He denied their request.
It would be LEGENDARY
@@Finile1268 Whaaaaaa? I never knew that. That's insane.
Imagine how Anders must feel performing this original version of the song that HE wrote lol. Awesome.
Gently was writen by clown when he was like 16, is basically the oldest slipknot song.
@@guts9160 Was it really? I had no idea. I thought those were Anders’ lyrics.
@@ryanangeli5897It was the first Slipknot song written and it was written by Clown. Some of the members added their own kind of things to the lyrics.
I wouldn’t be proud of that garbage
@@prepperandson1399 gently is godlike wdym
Man I wish joey was still alive he would of prob played drums for this gig that would of been cool
If only Paul and Joey were alive today... they would've probably signed up for this show
Yes...
most likely not
Jay también
you made me cry... thanks
This is the OG Slipknot. It's so funny reading all of those zoomer kids discovering Slipknot on UA-cam in the 2010s and freaking out about the sound that made the band great in the first place.
Glad to see the classics being played again!
only 1 member of this is og same as current slipknot
As a fan of MFKR this is a once in a lifetime... I dont even need slipknot guys anymore... many of them is not even in a band... RIP(... fuck... glad to hear it.. the passion and the rawness of it... respect to all who listens, all love
hope Mick and Shawn gonna see it (probably not) and will apreciate it
Paul and Joey would love this.. Rest their souls together again, forever 🤍🤍 #1 #2
They were definitely there in spirit!!
I've always loved the intro on this version.
I WAS RIGHT NEXT TO YOU,MAN..AND I AM SO FUCKIN STOKED I WAS THERE!..A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE!!!..I WILL NEVER FORGET!!
OMG NO WAY!! I literally rewatched all these videos again today because I was missing being at that show. It truly was a once in a lifetime experience!
Must say the best concert I've been to I was at the wellington one and it was next level
@@nicholasclare2550 ..YEP..IT WAS SOMETHING,I WILL CHERISH FOR EVER..SO COOL TO BE A PART OF SUCH AN ICONIC MOMENT..PEOPLE ARE SO JEALOUS OF US..MAN..AND THEY SHOULD BE..LOL..GLAD YOU,TOO HAD A BLAST!..
People in the comments ragging on Anders and his appearance….they obviously don’t realise he miraculously hasn’t changed a bit since the VERY FIRST Slipknot concerts before Corey Taylor stepped in 😆
Thank you for uploading these videos. Many lifelong fans of Slipknot consider this era to be one of their best, and to see these songs live is amazing. I remember downloading all the demo tracks from limewire, and now 20 years later, I’m watching them live.
You’re very welcome! Oh sure, I knew I had to capture the whole set as many fans worldwide couldn’t make it, so I wanted to give something back. Omg Limewire, those were the days!
I hope one day Donnie, Craig, and Josh get back together with Anders. Still a good performance tho, those guys are good!!
Bruh what the fuck he kicked ass those are sick vocals he went primal aggression on that shit. Glad to see Colsefni doing good.
By FAR, THE best version of gently!
So anders, what do we gotta do to get a home turf show?! Right in good Ole iowa
Great for Anders and his buddies to keep it up !
Now you can actually have Slipknot 2.0 lol if they keep firing everyone
Drums: Jay
Percussion: Chris
Sampler/Keyboards: Craig
Guitar: Josh Brainard
Vocals: Anders
And Donnie Steele in the Bass.
man i can’t describe how much i love this song
So good!!
Long live the MFKR era. They’re missing cuddles
So good!!
They're not missing cuddles. He joined after anders left. He was his replacement
Nah they're missing Donnie, Craig and Josh.
Great to see the other members made effort to learn the song not just a half assed effort to re create, I was skeptical about this tour as I thought it was about the money, shows more to be a historic restoration of his time in the pre known slipknot.
You guys do realize that anders wear the gimp suit just for this occasion and not every gig? He's not looking stupid. It's just the way mfkr used to be
Wow, thanks man for uploading this performance
You’re most welcome!! All songs are up!
Its so interesting to see this. Its like seeing underground Slipknot all over again.
Yup, humble beginnings right here. Funny how many Slipknot fans are here in the comments trashing this performance (like they know something lol), yet this is what the band was in its infancy. Imagine having the audacity to have the luck to witness the origins of something you love, only to criticize it like an empty-headed monkey.
This is a slipknot we can respect...
Man, this video and camera angle look like the rare video love it. Thanks Anders stay healthy!
Love this version. Anders is a beast
you win the internet this week! soon as i heard he was touring the other countries, i wanted to see this so bad!
It sure feels like I did, especially with all the metal media outlets sharing all the videos and writing articles.
Colsefni is a Living Legend
guys this isnt slipknot lite, these songs are from MFKR, this literally is as OG as slipknot gets
Thank you for uploading this.
You’re very welcome!!
I have loved this version since I was 20, waited 22 years to hear a good live version/see it
Holy F thanks for uploading these!
My pleasure!!
He's still got it. Next tour, should play the Crowz songs. Windows, Carve, May 17, heartache and a pair of scissors, the me inside. Have nature in there, his version of interloper
Very interesting!
Coleslaw, Spit it Out and Prothesis , too
@@ms.666why spit it out?
@@shronkykong3161its in silver disc. But tbh I guess Anders didn't sing it ever
Lust disease
MFKR is such a creative, raw and dynamic album. Thanks Colsefni for bringing it back!
The real tribal chief of Slipknot 🤟🤟🤟
Now can we have the mfkr cd re release please
Legit tho!!
Cold freaking chills..... This takes me back to the local pale ones then when they 1st did a show as meld. Best local band memory brought back😢😢
This is amazing for the OG Slipknot fans 🤟🤟🤟
Im a big slipknot's and Corey fan but this version of gently is so much better with Anders.
Imagine if road runner records sees them and they will be signed and become popular band
Roadrunner its not the same since a long time ago, many bands left that label
@@EduardoPinto814 this was a reference to slipknot after mfkr
Man I pirated the slipknot discography and in doing so I discovered MFKR and crowz since then I’ve always been mesmerized by the true underground slipknot
Anders fit this style of Slipknot while Corey fits the more commercial version of slipknot. Both are amazing, but i started out Anders and eventually grew to like Corey. Just be happy that we have both vocalists alive and healthy to show us the different sides of Slipknot!
Their sound is so clean and well-prepared, I like it so much🎉
Very good performance
Yeah he did quite well, especially considering it’s been almost 3 decades!
shit i can't believe it!!! I didn't know he was back and played that song! omg I'm a great fan of him!
I going to wear that to work tomorrow. Im a teacher.
I wore something similar to sundee school last week. It went over well!
I still can't believe he doesn't call his band "Noose"
Thanks for uploading this video, man! I'll probably never have the opportunity to see it with my own eyes, but thanks to you, i felt that as if I was there
You’re very welcome! I recorded every song for all the fans all over the world that will never get to experience this rare opportunity. Unfortunately this show/tour is never to be repeated, this is it. So I’m very glad you all get to experience it, at least through video.
@@bradley7861 We're really appreciate that! Thank you again so much, man! You made my day!
@@v4tv12My pleasure, glad I made your day!!
Fantastic, thanks for uploading! MFKR is my favorite Slipknot album and it's great to see these songs live!
I love Slipknot with Corey, but MFKR is something on another level... So happy to see Anders back!
To all the kids that hate on Anders, a good portion of the tens of thousands of dollars they spent on mate. feed. Kill. repeat. he paid for, he wrote, hell he was even in the band when they wrote the song they won the Grammy for, And I hate to say it, The stuff he was involved with is millions of times more creative than anything that they've put out since 2004 ill die on this hill. The band that you like isn't the band that you like, Slipknot has not been slipknot since 2002, ever since they started molding stone sour style songs into the band. This is Slipknot, way more than the Corey/Shawn project where they replaced most of the members that wrote anything anyway.
Spitting facts. MFKR is their best album
💯
@@EvolutionIX219 self titled best album by a longshot
I agree dude, I agree.
This right here. One of the only comments here with any sort of sense. Apart from like 2 songs, “The End So Far” was basically experimental Stone Sour. Even Jim himself said that the fucking thing didn’t sound like Slipknot to him lol.
This song is PEACE. Esta canción es PAZ. 🇦🇷
Gracias Anders! Todos quisimos alguna vez poder experimentar esa faseta de Slipknot de sus principios. Ven a Sudamerica!
Que locura! A mi gusto prefiero ver este show que volver a ver a los originales
This Gently is better than the Iowa one, I'm telling you. That intro is so fucking haunting. Not sure why they changed it.
No
This so fkn awesome. Thank You! Would you be willing to upload the full, uncut, uncompressed concert somewhere?
I recorded each song how they’re uploaded on here. I didn’t record it in one fell swoop. I am able to uploaded altogether if that’s what people want?
And thanks, you’re very welcome!!
@@bradley7861 oh if that's how it was recorded, that's okay. But the videos seems to be compressed a lot. I don't know if that's because of UA-cam or the camera/phone. If your original MP4 files look better than on youtube, i'd suggest uploading them on a cloud sharing platform so we can witness this show in the best quality possible.
@@bradley7861yes please do that
My favorite slipknot album is mate feed kill repeat honestly if anyone hasn’t heard it I recommend it
Mfkr, demo, and meld/the pale ones. Steele, Paul, anders
Damn 1996 nostalgia
Um... Holy shit?! When did Anders start playing and touring the album?!
Late last year
A re-recorded version was just released/leaked in the last couple days. I read he was working on and dedicating to Paul and Joey. But just seen where he said it wasn't finished and released without his consent
@@JT-ry2fsit was taken down because clown is a dickhead
I love the fact he's out there keeping MFKR alive. I'd pay good money to see this live if I had the chance.
one of My favorite songs since 2000
Its been so long 1995 to 1997 anders was a beast
Why not 1992-1994?
@@joemehl1994 slipknot era bro
But way back 94 Paul and anders was already hanging out and do jamming
Anders was one of my heroes in high school. Everyone should listen to Fleshcraft! He is an absolutely incredible person and I continue believe has phenomenal potential.
This Made me so to cry because that reminds me to Joey 😭 the hole intro
Add Craig, Mick, Donnie, Josh, Clown, and u gotta show!!! Fans all the World over, would dig mashup of MFKR ft Corey! Would that Knot be lit🔥
Fuck that. I don't want no Corey taking part of this masterpiece.
@@rive3051slipknot would be nothing without corey lmao
@@dawgcheck9042True, but look at what the fuck him and Clown have done to a once glorious band. It’s like a revolving circus act now, with experimental Stone Sour songs. And no, I don’t hate Slipknot. I love Slipknot with all my heart, but I love them enough to accept the truth of what they are now. This is the way it began, this is raw, and it’s fucking good.
this is so fkn cool bro thanks for posting these videos, I am a lifelong fan from back in the days of MFKR and this is so badass to see, brings me back
LIFES HANDS, always such an underrated song. One of my favorite, if not my favorite Slipknot song.
this is... a weird thing to exist. glad anders is doing well, but the entire concept of this is crazy.
what is? the song? the band? whats wierd?
I wasn’t around when the first slipknot was unleashed I was born in 1988 but I found slipknot when I was 10 or 11 i don’t remember when but the first slipknot album I got was Iowa and I was hooked I will always be a slipknot fan no matter what I am a maggot for life 😎🤘
RIP JOEY . FOREVER IN OUR HEARTHS. This is the best tribute to Joey Memory
They nailed it 🤘
Nailed it to a tree then took a massive dump on it....shocking
Your clearly don't understand that this was an entirely different form of Slipknot. Educate yourself first please😊
@zackmorison1414 bro I am educated been listening since kerrang put eyeless on their spirit of independence cd.....anders sucks. Facts

RIP Joey Jordison and Paul Gray
É incrível que ele pegou influência no roots álbum do sepultura e levou para o slipknot na época, grande anders
E por isso foi trocado, infelizmente
Anders should not stop wearing the tape as long as he’s still belting like an animal and SK is still going. Slipknot’s last album is proof they are far from too prestigious or still innovating enough not to revisit their roots.
I was expecting a trainwreck but that was actually pretty sick!
mfkr lives
A única coisa é que foi legal, foi tentar imaginar a atmosfera do Slipknot nessa época 1996.
I don't like MFKR, but Slipknot could at least acknowledge Anders as a key member from back in the day and give him an album guest spot.
No
Awesome!!!!
Я бы хотел присутствовать)
Tearing up. Bravo gentlemen
Como eu vim parar aqui realmente não sei
I'm loving the vibe of this concert. I loved MFKR. Too bad I lost my copy. They should recruit Chris and craig for this band because frankly I'm loving this more than what slipknot has been recently sadly
Achei q nunca viria isso.
Músicas do mfkr sendo tocadas
Как же круто 🤘
Right?!
bro should have stayed in slipknot
As much as I hated Chris getting booted the way he did, it would have been nice to have Anders take his place. His vocals are infinitely better than that muffled tortilla Pfaff, and he played percussion before Chris. I don’t see why…
@@Divine_Serpent_GehCorey tweeted at the time saying he’d love it to happen.. Anders later made a statement later saying he won’t be rejoining slipknot. The boat sailed for him a long time ago and he’s not willing to take the risks to become a slipknot percussionist-for-hire like Chris ended up being. but that being said massive respect for him keeping alive the small part of slipknot he was responsible for and making MFKR live on because it truly is a masterpiece of its own
My fav Slipknot song. Never played in Sydney by Corey Taylor.
The lack of respect for one of the founding members of Slipknot in this comment section is wild. The effort and emotion that went into MFKR was way more than their newer albums, due to the loss of a few members, but most likely because of the lack of desire to make quality music and only gain more money from their hungry crowd.
As much as I want to agree, this is ignorant at best.
MFKR was important as a stepping stone for Slipknot, and I'm willing to bet plenty of emotion was involved in its making, but you simply can't say their 'newer' albums lack any sort of emotion and only appeal to monetarily support themselves. I may not have liked 'The End, So Far' or 'We Are Not Your Kind' as much as I liked 'Slipknot' or 'Iowa', but emotion doesn't always manifest itself directly from raw brutality or loudness- melody and ambience can show emotion too; the slow guitar in the intro to 'A Liar's Funeral' shows this so easily- it's slow, soft, melancholy, and perfectly displays the atmosphere the song is introducing, without even introducing Corey's vocals to display said emotion.
Vocals (at least I think) are the easiest way for a listener to attach themselves emotionally, especially with a voice like Corey's and how a lot of the instrumentals on TE,SF were done- Adderall and Acidic are good representations of this- the instrumentals don't lend themselves to being clung onto emotionally, they kind of do their own thing and perform for themselves- but Corey comes in and takes you hand, leading you down his emotional journey that he wants to take in either song.
From a purely emotional standpoint, WANYK does it and displays its emotions better, but TE,SF displays some as well. Slipknot/Iowa were both vicious and relentless, but it displays it emotion much more forward-driven through anger and rage, not mature compared to what we have now. The misnomer people have now is that 'Slipknot lacks the desire to create quality music', when they really just want to do whatever they want, not what the fans want. Same thing happens in metalcore too, old bands like AA step back from their roots and people hate it and call them out for being 'sellouts' because their new music isn't the same. It's just not what the artist wants anymore, and Slipknot doesn't want to remake Iowa or their S/T record again. Even outside those two albums, they don't want to make another same-album like Vol 3, AHIG, or The Gray Chapter- they want what they want, and that's something we have to accept. Though Slipknot does want to make money, their music isn't catered towards a crowd that'll make them the most money possible- they do what they want, ask Jim Root and how he beefed with one of the guys in Stone Sour because the other guy only wanted money from music.
@@Lord_Burrito it ain’t that deep bro 💀 but I do agree, you have good points my guy
Bro this isn't good. There's a reason slipknot changed lol
The lack of respect is mostly from stupid kids that discovered the band during the 2010s. People that know how it started realize that some of Slipknot’s best songs were written when this dude was frontman and writer. And yes, Corey is a great singer, and although I hate what hypocrites him and Clown have become, he will never be matched from 99-03 years, but to trash this man and his show because you ride Corey all day long is dumb at best.
Slipknot has basically been experimental Stone Sour for the last decade.
