I love this upload since you included the behind-the-scenes of your hard work! And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.
Great video. You could likely run an 18ft on that at least. I've got the same head on my '83 F2 and run about the same speed, and yield. Makes great long straw. Are you keeping the straw or have it sold to someone?
So ive watched a bunch of your videos now and its kinda making me curious but you guys mostly run agco stuff but y the couple deer tractors?? Just kinda curious y not some big orange ones....agco allis 9815 or like some agco dt 250 or something just was kinda curious but love the gleaners 👍👍👍gleaner strong...
Thanks for watching. Yeah our biggest Allis is the 8070 with the Cummins 8.3 and our 3 John Deere’s, over the year’s we’ve kinda been going with green tractors because of the dealer network, some day we’d like to add a 8400 JD to our lineup. Now for combines we’re staying with Gleaner.
Just out of curiosity, where do you take your wheat and rye? Just a local elevator, or is there a processor close? Also, ever plant any oats? Would you take those to a local elevator, or is a processor close?
Are you using that one to save straw? I know those internationals will really chew the hell out of straw. Looks like fun! Last time I had wheat I harvested on the 4th of July and it made 70.
@@marknicholls2755 oh ok, yeah I had a guy tell me he even switched his chopper over to low speed and it really made a difference not chewing the straw up
A great combine.
Allis Chalmers 👍
Thanks

Are things that bad up there?
The lil ol M3 does a good job still 👍

Really nice looking machine. I’d trade my little Deere for it in a heart beat
Oh ok lol 😆. Yeah it’s a good straw machine.

We sell the wheat to ADM, the rye we sell to some guys we know. We don’t plant oats.
@@Hinesfarm-Indiana ok, thanks!

Yeah we only use this combine for wheat because with the walkers it makes good straw.
Nice
Thanks for watching
Is it possible to leave any kind of windrow of straw with a R series combine?
Yeah take the straw spreader off and drop the knives out of the chopper, I did it for my neighbor
@@Hinesfarm-Indiana thanks I'm tossing around the idea of a gleaner for our next combine. Our 850 massey is getting pretty tired

Nice land and good wheat ! How far are you from Tipton?
We’re north west of Logansport
