Did you find a auger for the r52?
@@Dennis-bj9cj thanks for watching. Had a fabricator stop and look at it, he’s getting it fixed back up.
Looks like it might be a bit nippy outside y'all's way... hopefully the tire fix will work better than the last tube attempt
@@tnhillbilly1307 yeah the new tube did the trick, yeah Thursday morning it hit 25, so a little chilly lol
Still following, my 7060 has the same issue of low rad water and higher oil level, almost made it through the season, fun winter project
@@jeffstout6567 yeah their not hard to work on
what prices you seeing in your area we are at $8.80
@@KesslerGrainfarms for beans we’re right around 9 to 9.10
Good to hear your yields are good this year we where not as lucky heat got ours well hope for a better year next year LOL
@@KesslerGrainfarms sorry to hear about your yields
@@KesslerGrainfarms how’s everything going for you guys?

@@nomerc3608 thanks for watching
What do you use to record
@@joemama-km4se thanks for watching. I have a GoPro 10 and a dji air 3 drone.
Of all the UA-cam channels, you're farm is most like my Dad's
@@mikefolknation2851 thanks for watching, appreciate it.
Nice drone work 👍
@@King_Randy thank you, yeah this air 3 is fun to work with. Thanks for watching.
U did a great job with this video 👍 ol boom truck became quite an important piece added to the farm equipment seems like
@@tnhillbilly1307 thanks, yeah that’s the best 3700 bucks I’ve ever spent on that boom truck, it’s more than paid for itself.
I run a 93 R52 with Cummins and 520 flex header.
@@tinsleym3 thanks for watching. Yeah ours is a 93 with the air cooled in it, we run a 520 also.
That sucks on auger how fast you run your rotor in beans and you bottom sieve how far open
@@KesslerGrainfarms thanks for watching. Yeah the fab guy said he’ll be able to fix it. We run 650 on rotor.
It's really neat getting a bird's eye view with the drone 👍
@@tnhillbilly1307 yeah seeing things from a Birds Eye view is neat 👍
Cant believe it is that time of year already about one more week and Gleaners go back into the shop for the year been long year but still was fun farming with the boys good family time for us
I love watching the corn header! So, many other channels think talking into the camera, is what we want to watch. Keep doing what you're doing... Gleaners rule!!!!!
@@atomicwedgie8176 thanks for watching 👍👍
Looks like a fun day
@@blacklisterd yeah it went good, thanks for watching 👍👍🌽🌽
Corn looks good. Nice video..was wondering what model kilbros cart that is and how many bushels it holds..keep up the great work on your videos. I especially enjoy your informational ones. I have 1992 R52 with a 520 flex.. pretty similar to yours.
@@jrm3053 thanks for watching. Yeah it’s a 1600 so it’ll hold 800 bushel. Glad to be a help with the info vids, yeah our 52 is a 93.
Thanks for the info..if you dont mind me asking on your 520 flexhead what kind of a sickle system do you have? Crary, Schumacher, gleaned, etc. I have a Schumacher EZ cut generation 1 and I struggle with cutting performance. High stubble, ragged, and whole plants left behind here and there. I've been reading and some people say it's worse for cutting height than a stock gleaner unless you flip the entire system upside down. Just wondering your thoughts.
@@jrm3053 I run the SCH roller system on both our heads, it works great 👍
Ya wasn't expecting u to be harvesting corn first thing! Can't believe I had to suffer thru another video with the GoPro 9 😆😆 look forward to when u able to send the drone up 👍
@@tnhillbilly1307 yeah I’ve got one more video using the 9 then everything else is the 10 lol 😆
Looking good 👍
@@King_Randy thanks for watching
Best of luck we’ve been averaging in upper 200’s on corn and in 70s to 80s on beans. Stay safe
@@walterlaubscherjr2011 thanks, same to you. That’s great bpa, yeah not sure what our corns doing yet, we just did 2 small fields and some of its still in the wet bin, the beans running 50 to almost 70, not bad for sandy ground. Thanks for watching.
What’s the Napa number on the secondary smaller fuel filter.
3358 if I remember right
Why do you run the helical bars in the separator side of the 72 for beans? Is it because you run it in corn also and don't want to change out everything? I'm looking for an "all around" setup in my 94 R52. Standard 8 bar rotor with timpe rasp bars. I believe there's two reverse bars on separator side of memory serves me correctly. Thanks in advance.
@@Acplowboy yeah what this setup works for both corn and beans, you gotta run them on the separator side to move everything over to the chopper
Looks like a awesome start to harvest
Thanks for watching
To wet in that part of the field
@@ClevelandBaldwin-w2n thanks for watching. Yeah it was a little in that part haha 😆
So sweet friend
@@aboutthefarmer thanks for watching
If you plan to use this for farm work keep yourself out of trouble with the FAA and get your Part 107. It’s not a big deal, very easy. I believe the proposed legislation the previous commenter talked about passed the House but died in the Senate. If passed it likely wouldn’t impact your existing drone either. Blue skies friend!
@@FishBaitBlue thanks for watching 👍👍
Hey that didn't look to bad to fly 👍 going to be really cool to see vid clips with it during harvest
@@tnhillbilly1307 yeah it’s not bad, full speed is 45 to 47 mph
Does charger the battery while running or have to buy sep charge kit for it ?
@@jacobgonzalez8457 thanks for watching. I’m guessing it needs a separate charger, I just pull start it.
Good thing you got that now, because our government is banning the sale of these DJI drones in November. It’s sad that the government can do whatever they want. They are even going after the DJI agricultural spray drones next.
I’ve been hearing about that, who else makes a good drone like dji?
@@Hinesfarm-Indiana I don’t really know. I think DJI is “partnering” with an American company to offer the same product possibly. Your existing drone will still be legal, you just can’t buy a new one.
@@King_Randy ok 👍
@@King_Randy what make of drone do you use?
@@Hinesfarm-Indiana I use an old Mavic Mini and I’m about to upgrade to a Mini 3 Pro or a Mini 4.
Great looking pieces of classic iron. Nothing beats the older ones in my opinion. I want a 8070 myself. I run the classics myself. 👍. Good video.
Thanks for watching. Yeah this 8070 has a Cummins 8.3 in it.
U forgot to walk around the pride of the farm 😆 the shot at the end with everything lined up in front of the corn was really cool 👍
@@tnhillbilly1307 now that’s true lol haha 😆. Yeah I drove it on the last part of the video across the fronts the tractors lol 😆

Do a video on how you set the pitch of your header for soybean do you have the guards tipped down ward or with a flex head you just run it on the ground
@@KesslerGrainfarms ours is only flex we run them on the ground
Well that was simple enough 👍 kinda odd they put those buttons under the letters of the word tho
