Austin, that was a very informative and interesting video. Missed this when it first came out. You do a really great job with your presentations. It’s great you have the perspective of using the equipment to better your sales presentation, having actually used some of the equipment and understand the little trip ups that can frustrate users. Keep up the fantastic work, your vids are always awesome.
Awesome video bud it makes me really want a gleaner combine too now Wow what an amazing machine we currently have 2 9090 New Hollands would be nice to have one gleaner 98 and one new Holland
Excellent shots Austin. Looks like you were walking adjacent to the Gleaner in action. You really bring us into the game. Credit to you! Thanks. Chris 14:54
Just the Flax Jack. Gotta admit, had to google up Flax, heard of it, just couldn't tell you anything about it. Surprised at all the uses for it but more impressed with the process to get it - lots of acres, processed through a Big Bad Gleaner the size of a house, some fine tune adjustments to the Cleaner, and all to get a seed the size of a grain of rice. Impressive. Not as impressive as how you were driving that rig while sitting on the roof, up in the hooper, walking around and behind....oh ya forget this was a demo ride, I was sure you were about to show us how you were driving that Gleaner using the drone controller. Save that trick for the Fendt runs. Gotta say of all the ag rigs, combines have got to be one of the most impressive pieces of engineering on wheels that you find in the field. Thanks for braving that late summer heat and pulling together that footage of the up-close view of flax harvest. BTW - think I caught a fast glimpse of that missing SD card blasting out of the auger around 7:28.......oh FLAX! it's microSD oil now. Great job bud, take care - till next one 😎
Flax looks so nice when it is in blossom I have seen a few fields of it down around Kindersley. Although I have eaten quite a bit of it I have never seen it up close much less seen it combined. The pods look a lot like coriander. Thanks for sharing Austin.
Thanks for the Gleaner fearure harvest video! Do you own and operate a Gleaner combine ( noted you stated S98 with 40 foot Honeybee header was a demo ). Noticed near the start of your video , highlight of your friend's Gleaner picking ip a double swath. Curious regards to method of swathing , does a guy drop both swaths the same direction , then combine picking up flax driving the same direction , picking up crop heads first ?
Sunny Boy cereal. Oil. The straw can be baled and makes excellent wind breaks shelters for cattle. Use the straw for replacement in fiberglass , cotton , insulation
Thanks for the insight! Never would of guessed that flax was ever grown there! Like the others said in the comments, flax is actually used for lots of things! I actually have flax every morning in my overnight oats!
Saskatchewan, flax, and a Gleaner! Nothing better in the world than that.
What i like the most about Gleaner is the design of the Auger has not changed since well who knows

Thanks for the comment! Glad you enjoyed it! Harvest is underway for me now! Combining right by Saskatoon later today hopefully!
Never grew flax, but we used to coffee with a few farmers who did - they made heaps of cash - never stand in the bin - cheers from Unity
Thanks for the comment Jeff! Have you started harvest yet? Heard from a few guys in that area that they are rolling!
