Heyyyyyy lovelies, I am beyond excited to bring you this video. Not sponsored in any way. I purchased another stunning Katy Sue Mould from Amazon. I decided to look at all of the ways and possibilities that one mould has to offer. A little different from me but I hope to inspire you to use the moulds you have with so many different mediums. This is the Rose Katy Sue mould and I am using 6 different techniques to make a casting from just the one mould.

Claire, when you cast the lids for many containers, it is usually solid. If you position the silicone rase in the lid you can get two benefits. 1) you can get the image of the rose (especially if you dust it with mica powder) and 2) save some resin. For me, that's a win win situation. 💓

💜 Loved the video. The detail in that mold is wonderful. My sweet hubby used to take care of our roses because he knows I love them. We moved to about 5400 elevation and quickly discovered that roses just don’t do very well here. The lavender rose is my fav but, hybrids do have a draw back.. eventually Mother Nature will turn it back to the wild red roses they were bred with.🌹All of your pieces turned out beautiful. So many possibilities! Great job!
Pink roses...my favorite! 😍💕😊 The Ballet Slipper color is sooo Old English Roses, which are my favorite rose type. ❤ Love all of these, Claire, even the Autumn colored ones are absolutely *GORGEOUS!* And so many types of media can be used! Loving the silicone inlay ones so much!
Idea: use those darling silicone inlay roses in a deepish pour picture frame mold! 😊
Wax melts: INSANELY easy...promise! Lot like wax seals.

for air drying clay you can put a little bit of baby powder or corn starch anything like that in the mould with a paint brush that will help the de-moulding :)

Hi Claire, Thank you for sharing your video :) You can also use Thermaplastic moldable plastic beads by melting them into hot water and add color with mica or nail polish or alcohol inks or or or and then press into your molds as well, works great in the silicone molds :) Love the flower molds!

Don't forget to slap that mold on the table after putting your silicone in there helps work those bubbles out.

Quick tip, if using air dry clay, for ease of removal, dust the mould with talc or corn flour before pushing clay in.

Tip = Pull open pack of fimo at the back, the barcode is actually a strong sticker so you can seal the pack back up. ❤ not sure if anyone else has commented on this x
